wow. with gams like that, she can pull off anything! fabulous.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:55 PM) :

what's the name of that street ?
on the first photo ?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:58 PM) :

i want all of her outfits.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:58 PM) :

Damn! That woman has some calves! :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:59 PM) :

Sigh. I'd love to roam through her shoe collection. Thanks, Sart!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:08 PM) :

she definately is one of the super all-stars here!! although i don't see the appeal in those shades....

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:16 PM) :

She needs one more thing to make the outfits... a smile!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:17 PM) :

All star? Really? Never much liked her fashion but when you put it together like this, I can at least admit the fact that she's a champion of "Drama in the Back"

mltt

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:23 PM) :

paris... it is Rue de Mont Thabor, behind Rue Rivoli

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:38 PM) :

it's rue de mont thabor. 1 arrondisement. between rue de rivoli and rue st. honore. near the tuileries. near colette (among other things).

Blogger bananafish said ... (7:42 PM) :

legs legs legs

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:42 PM) :

interesting "drama in the back" looks

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:55 PM) :

Rue de Mont Thabor

Blogger The Fab Miss B said ... (7:57 PM) :

For all the gorgeous clothes she's wearing, she sure doesn't look like she's having much fun. Its that "deadly serious" fashion philosophy. Ugh.

Blogger Unknown said ... (8:05 PM) :

It's so much about the fit with her! She is wrapped in perfection. In the first pic she looks like a bon bon! That skirt is fabulous.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:07 PM) :

she's got great taste in shoes...

Blogger Misterparticular said ... (8:09 PM) :

yeah/nay/yeah/yeah/nay/yeah x2

Sart I love seeing multi images of your subjects. Proves we can be on one day and off the next. Here a smile would do wonders for her (and him). All in all a thumbs up to anna for getting dressed in the morning and thinking about it.

Blogger SC said ... (8:14 PM) :

Actually, her style slightly lacks sophistication to me.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:26 PM) :

She is awesome. I would love to be able to dress like that every day! Gorgeous.

Blogger tn said ... (8:28 PM) :

She is bold and amazing. Inspiring!!!!!!!!!!

Blogger Fe Yamin said ... (8:30 PM) :

GORGEOUS! HARD TO CHOOSE ONE OF THEM...LOVELY!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:15 PM) :

can i steal her boyfriend? yum, i love him. however i hate the feather mini. too much creatures in a cage suffering stuf. not nice.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:18 PM) :

Wow and her man always looks good too!

Blogger blah said ... (9:21 PM) :

She has amazing legs!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:22 PM) :

i want those prada shoes! i love her style!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:50 PM) :

You left out my favorite shot of her; the one of her in Prada's belted skirt from the spring collection. She and Emmanuelle Alt are two of the most fashionable women in the industry, in my opinion. I'm glad you take so many pictures of them.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:16 PM) :

the DOES look fab, but someone has to tell her to straighten that back. her posture is horrendous!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:22 PM) :

Super All-Star - you have got to be kidding!

She is all about fashion and nothing about style!

Blogger Brian said ... (10:29 PM) :

I'm obsessed with how casually she's wearing that incredible skirt in the first picture. I love it!

Blogger Elizabeth said ... (10:39 PM) :

Great every time. She even rocks two looks I can't dig: the everyone-is-gaga-over-it Prada Fall ombre sandal, and the animal print.

She's a pleasure to observe.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:07 PM) :

rue du mont thabor is the name of the street.
her wardrobe varies so much, which to me is the true epitome of style..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:18 PM) :

wow those legs...all her outfits are amazing!!! good taste what can u say! I want to know what she eats? whats her diet Sart??? :) ask her next time!!!

Blogger Jennifer said ... (11:34 PM) :

she is fantastic in her choices and combinations, and elegant stature, yet she deeply undermines herself when she adopts carine's favorite pigeon-toe/i'm-a-little-girl-playing-dress-up-don't -be-intimidated-by-me stance. i really really dislike that trend intensely. it's less obvious yet as bad/ridiculous as the fishlip pout favored by the olsens, et al.

Blogger Landis said ... (11:38 PM) :

there is a word for this woman:
FIERCE.

there. big gay moment du jour.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:44 PM) :

it's mont thabor

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:10 AM) :

wow- very creative, great taste, great legs... but please, stand up straight!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:11 AM) :

Fabulous.

Does anyone know the designer of the first skirt?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:21 AM) :

she has an awesome sense of style,
but correct me if im wrong, she looks like she hunches a lot.
Good posture is very important, in my opinion, to make someone look beautiful.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:35 AM) :

PS, i meant the 4th photo from the top and not the last photo.

Blogger stacy said ... (12:47 AM) :

Wow! Yes she is.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:01 AM) :

I find picture4 most flattering. I don´t think that her legs, knees are at their best in the other photos. The dress in the first picture is weird. Haven´t we seen the last one before?

Blogger Twiceasnice said ... (1:33 AM) :

Not too sure about the skit on the first photo.

Blogger Andy said ... (1:34 AM) :

Amazing sense of style and definitely great gams.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:40 AM) :

i love her outfit in the first one, but i feel like she usually just looks trendy.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:44 AM) :

great taste, style, and creativity... but PLEASE stand up straight!

Blogger Unknown said ... (2:01 AM) :

Again, those Prada shoes are just fabulous! And I love that mini purse that she carries almost on all photos. My fav is the pink top!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:21 AM) :

Love this post! Amazing shots like these is what brings me back here. Thanks

Blogger Unknown said ... (3:23 AM) :

This is one of things I love best about this blog - the chance to see the same person on different days so getting a measure of the range of their style. It's great to see this kind of personal spectrum - thank you Sartorialist!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:32 AM) :

I want her boyfriend.

Blogger Unknown said ... (4:16 AM) :

Look at those legs. They make anything look good!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:26 AM) :

Great clothing. Tick. Great body. Tick. Morose overall expression. Tick... It's not all then, is it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:37 AM) :

Her dress sense is fantastic, but why does she hunch like that..? It's disturbing

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:03 AM) :

She's got amazing legs. And style.

Blogger Laia said ... (6:14 AM) :

That's rue de Rivoli.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:31 AM) :

Her shoes are the first thing that I looked at in each picture. They're all incredible.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:43 AM) :

She obviously has a fab wardrobe! How ever, the skirt on Pic one is not a good choice, the suffering of creatures for fashion is a nono.. Just wish she would smile and stop hunching her square fab swimmers shoulders all the time, that would make her choice of fab accessories complete!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:58 AM) :

How wonderful are the outfits in pictures 3 and 5. Is it LANVIN?

Perhaps more subtile shoes would have matched better with the silky textures...

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (9:03 AM) :

Fabulous legs and she knows how to show them off - well done. I love that most of these looks are essentially very simple and all about a great fit - just beautiful.

Blogger laia. said ... (9:16 AM) :

Oh Scott, I am so so obsessed with her. If it wasn't for your pictures, my fall dressing would be so sad!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:27 AM) :

2nd photo, with the white dress and those super fine legs...how are women getting their pins looking so fine, what are they eating, doing?? Ive just re-iterated several peoples comments but does anyone have any answers?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:58 AM) :

I would guess... Swimming? Pilates? Cycling? Cardiovascular training? Dr. Perricone's diet?

Blogger Paul Pincus said ... (11:30 AM) :

That first photograph!

When you are having a yucky day, an image like the first one of Anna Dello Russo, is a tonic.

It's always cool to spot a person whose mind and body (and personal style) are in perfect alignment.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:59 AM) :

With her amazing clothing choices, I would have expected her to select a more adventuresome and stylish umbrella.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:27 AM) :

Prada shoes are great, i love them. Shoes on the last photo are also superb. Are they Gucci?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:36 PM) :

Great clothing, but she looks like a man in women's clothing.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:12 PM) :

both the white and black back-detailed dresses are by givenchy

with the white dress her shoes are by marni and the divine black wedges by givenchy also.

the fuschia top is by lanvin with the same givenchy wedges

the ombre dress is by prada and so are the block colored sandals.

the leopard maillot is by givenchy and the booties gucci.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:38 AM) :

she's amazing. one of the chicest women in the world. she's an "it" woman!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:39 AM) :

she's by the louvre along rue du rivoli. one my favorite chocolate places to visit is angelina's.

i think and feel anna della russo is AMAZING! when i first saw a picture of her, i dropped my jaw! she's one of those rare women that has the wardrobe of signature pieces that makes people head's turn as well as the figure to complete her look. she's VERY chic and i hope you MORE pics of her!!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:46 PM) :

Where are those shoes from in the 4th picture? You've photographed both her and Giovanna in them!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:47 AM) :

SMILE for the love of God. As far as we all know, you only live once.
