How cool! I would never wear it, but she looks magnificent! And I love her little clutch/wallet. Anyone know what label?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:05 AM) :

I had a haircut like that in the 80's.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:08 AM) :

not crazy about her hair or sunglasses but like everything else. Very nice.

Blogger The Spicers said ... (11:11 AM) :

Wow, she's amazing! Love the asymmetrical fringe, the heavy chain, and the structured top. She's definitely got a look going!

Blogger Anna-Lyssa said ... (11:15 AM) :

now this, this is an outfit well-pulled off, authoritative, worthy of audrey hepburn and hubert de givenchy and cristobal balenciaga....
i really hate those shades, but the rest: she is a vision and she certainly wears her clothes, they do not wear her.
well done. who is this person?

Blogger stacy said ... (11:17 AM) :

It takes a very special lady to pull off a haircut like that. Good for her.

Blogger Mervis said ... (11:20 AM) :

the accessories are perfect. love the clutch and the necklace imparticular. and the haircut is so dramatic. love the mix of femme/masc.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:32 AM) :

gorgeous necklace, gorgeous colors. would have chosen a less obvious clutch..

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (11:37 AM) :

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. I love the simple drama of the colours, her hair and the sunglasses. Fabulous.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:49 AM) :

love it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:07 PM) :

The haircut and the sunglasses matches. Brilliant!

Blogger frau mo said ... (12:36 PM) :

ha!
red!
i love red!
red is great!
what a stunning combination!
(although i´m not totally convinced of her hair...)

Blogger Asi Mod said ... (12:47 PM) :

Wow! The severe hair cut, the accessories and the pose/attitude in the photo are excellent.

Very avant garde with a mix of 70's minimalism -- Annie Lennox crossed with Grace Jones.

Blogger Imani said ... (12:48 PM) :

HOT. The look is so severe (in the best way possible) then you take a look at her purse and...what's that there...clouds? I love it.

Blogger Bob said ... (12:50 PM) :

Brassy!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:04 PM) :

i adore how she's not conventionally beautiful but perfectly put together. this is art. i love it.

Blogger rosemary x said ... (1:16 PM) :

this is perfection as far as i'm concerned. so simple yet bold. incredibly bold.

i can't help but think of devo...which is a very good thing.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:21 PM) :

now this is what i'm talkin' about!
; )

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:21 PM) :

Feminine androgyny! I love it.
Nice picture.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:32 PM) :

love the neckless (:

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:32 PM) :

I love this look, it is really shocking in the positive way. An marvellous impact for my eyes.

Blogger Mai said ... (1:38 PM) :

love the geometric feeling of the shot. especially the hair and pose.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:04 PM) :

What a New Wave knockout! Love her haircut, the construction of the shirt, the big chain, the bold red and black, the shades...everything!

Blogger Chouettes said ... (2:06 PM) :

looks like valeria p.! lovely

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:11 PM) :

I enjoy the whole look, just the hair cut, possible it looks better from the sides and back and not," I just put a bowl on my head and cut around it" love the necklace and purse -

Blogger Landis said ... (2:13 PM) :

SOMEONE is tryin to hard.

man, that's gotta hurt.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:38 PM) :

A very personal look.I bet she has really thought it through. I don´t like red very much but that´s my problem. Somehow though this picture lacks effortless, something very important for me.

Blogger bruno e.a. said ... (2:38 PM) :

resemblance of david bowie

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:55 PM) :

uh la la! great photo and outfit

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:56 PM) :

asymmetric bowl cut- check
wrap arounds- check
chain ice- check
it's a little too fierce, i think without the sunglasses it would be a hot look

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:01 PM) :

I wish I could see her shoes! She knows how to pose to show of the clothes she is wearing. I always wonder when I where a bold outfit if my makeup should be bold too, but I guess the sunglasses act as bold "eye makeup".

Blogger Pistachio Of Liberty said ... (3:08 PM) :

Nice bold shapes, perfect chunk of necklace. Well done. Is this perhaps the previously featured woman who works at Dior Homme?

Blogger kimayo said ... (3:20 PM) :

someone may be trying hard, but you gotta hand it to her, she makes it work.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:09 PM) :

I love her complete look! Her haircut brings an element of precesion, which is enhanced through the sharp lines in her top.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:10 PM) :

I'm really REALLY curious about the shoes too! jeje

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:12 PM) :

This is such a clean, geometrical look. The glasses and the haircut of course nails it, but I am really liking the shirt. Great shot.

Blogger Susan B said ... (5:49 PM) :

Too cool for school. In a good way.

Blogger we could grow up 2gether said ... (5:51 PM) :

i dont know, very balenciaga meets bladerunner?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:11 PM) :

Whip It :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:08 PM) :

Love the construction of the shirt. The length of it is perfect, too.
I'd love to see what else this woman wears.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:23 PM) :

The hairdo has got to go. There is no sexy in that hair at all.

But I LOVE the rest of the outfit.

A shame, bc her hair looks so healthy, and I would kill for my hair to be like that.

Blogger ThoseKids said ... (8:03 PM) :

Yes, she is definitely brave. Either way that is one hideous haircut.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:04 PM) :

This is fashion designer from Russia, Vika Gazinskaya. She looks fab and she is fab. I believe she is wearing one of her own creations.

Blogger MARIA H said ... (8:10 PM) :

This time around she looks flawless and cool; not android like.
I guess the activity makes her atire.

Love this one.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:24 PM) :

I feel like this is how the 80's pictured the future.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:08 PM) :

it takes huge guts to go for a cut like that for sure..respect!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:32 PM) :

that's the ugliest haircut i've ever seen. it's like a third-grade bowl cut gone bad.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:37 PM) :

loving the outfit and accessories but not the hair.

Blogger DS said ... (9:41 PM) :

Love the glasses and clutch, the red shirt is the real cherry topper! And look at her hair, all of it comes together well. I bet she's into architecture heheh.

Blogger Barbara said ... (10:44 PM) :

I love when someone dares to be different. Love everything about this, especially the hair.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:11 PM) :

Its the haircut that is the stand-out.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:28 PM) :

gorgeous pic but male breast reduction surgery may be in the model's future.

Actually I love the look. Severe isn't exactly a bad thing. Would have to experience how the clothing and styling interact with the personality. A little juxtaposition would be the cherry here.

what?

Blogger Unknown said ... (11:28 PM) :

Fierce! The bold against the bold = chunky chain against bright red. WORK!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:29 PM) :

"Slave...to the rhythmmm..."

Blogger Celia said ... (11:29 PM) :

Perfection. I also want to see the shoes!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:40 AM) :

I like when people dare to have an unique look. First I was upset with her clothing, but then I realized how was silly I was.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:51 AM) :

If ever a look required lacquered lips and nails (red, blackberry, bronze, something!) this is it. Otherwise, flawless execution of a rather difficult look.

Blogger Lisa said ... (11:42 AM) :

great shot.

"don't/ don't you want me..."

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:52 PM) :

This look fascinates me. I love how the top is blousy and structured at the same time. Very powerful. Authoritative without being cartoonish or boring-conservative.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:55 PM) :

Wow! A love this look! It's Vika Gazinskaya, a fashion designer from Moscow. http://www.fashionbank.ru/articles/article274.html

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:19 PM) :

yeah this is Vika Gazinskaya!! There is so much drama in her but still some place left for the elegance and great sense of humour. I love the way she pulls off her own clothes, her fashion line is an essence of her own unique style!!

Blogger Rebecca V. O'Neal said ... (11:48 PM) :

very eve salvail-ian look going on here

love it

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:11 AM) :

love the color, hate the hair. My college roommate got a similar haircut in 1976 at Vidal Sassoon in NYC. The hair just looks dated and ugly (I didn't like it in 1976 either).

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:14 AM) :

this is Vika Gazinskaya - russian fasion designer.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:15 AM) :

i love love LOVE her chain!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:35 PM) :

It's interesting that she's Russian, as my first association with the strong red with black is Raisa Gorbachev. But I'm seeing the return of strong colors with black in general these days, and I think this photo offers a good example of how it can be dramatic and effective.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:16 PM) :

great look!! http://www.vikagazinskaya.com/english.html

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:47 PM) :

Of course a picture of her shoes (with this same outfit) exists. You can find her baby blue pumps right here: http://www.garancedore.fr/2007/10/07/168/

Have a look as well at her Amy Winehouse eyeliner, hidden behind her black shades :o)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:48 AM) :

Fabulous! I love it. The necklace is a perfect accent. Nothing out of place on this one, and she obviously has the presence to pull such a hard look off while maintaining her femininity. Wish I could see the shoes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:51 AM) :

O.K. this look is fierce, but I just looked at the shoes she wore with the outfit in the photo so graciously posted by anonymous. Those baby blue pumps are a miss in an otherwise flawless look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:45 PM) :

fierce hair. Only a few girls can pull this off, and she is definitely one of them.

Blogger Haircuts... said ... (8:39 AM) :

The hair is cut in a very havy step so cool. Suits her and her glases perfect.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:58 AM) :

she is russian fashion designer victoria gazinskaya

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:08 AM) :

Vika is perrfect! The clothes that she makes, her own style - so out of this world. I'm like so crazy in love with her. Seriously)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:55 PM) :

great! like hepburn on acid.
