that face!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:30 AM) :

i LOVE what he's wearing. i'd even love that jacket for me! i also like how nothing really matches in the traditional sense, but put together it looks pretty effortless and right.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:33 AM) :

I love his jacket and his trousers! The colour is super!

Blogger fleung said ... (10:39 AM) :

very nice..
今季must buy ~_~
his trouser so slim..
nice too..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:39 AM) :

I wish more American men would wear their scarves with flair. This look suits him.

Blogger Enzo AGC said ... (10:45 AM) :

THE SHOES! Where can i get them?

Blogger Asi Mod said ... (10:51 AM) :

It's a decent look but nothing ground breaking really.

It's a uniform for the 20-something fresh-out-of-art-school kids living in Williamsburg. It very utilitarian, simple and fitted.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:18 AM) :

Where would one find shoes like that? What does one ask for? This look is what I aspire to.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:18 AM) :

nice shoes, but i think he is upset that he has on nut huggers, and you asked for his photo

Blogger ricpic said ... (11:24 AM) :

A poor man's Steve McQueen?

Blogger superfantasticpicturetime said ... (11:33 AM) :

the shoes are from APC.

Blogger Carolina Lange said ... (11:36 AM) :

He look great!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:42 AM) :

cute :)

Blogger Clark said ... (11:45 AM) :

I love the fit of the pants. Very slim but still able to sag. Outright cool.

Blogger Butch said ... (11:52 AM) :

It's the scarf, and the way it's deployed, that makes the difference, isn't it?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:00 PM) :

Ricpic, my first thought was he reminded me of a young Steve McQueen

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:00 PM) :

The brown shoes don't really match with the other colors, my eye disturbingly goes straight to them. I would prefear if they were grey or dark blue. Or then, if a dramatic contrast must be created, red, green or yellow.

Blogger cami falcão said ... (2:15 PM) :

looking great, very sexy.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:31 PM) :

what season is the jacket from? his shoes remind me of a pair of vintage sperry top siders i own. love the trousers as well! かっこいい!!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:11 PM) :

Interesting to see everyone so positive about this outfit.
Personally I think it's the worst outfit I've seen on this blog this year. Which doesn't mean it's all bad because of the high standards the sartorialist upholds but
the scarf is quite boring, the jacket is so-so and the color overall is tedious.
The shoes are nice though!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:14 PM) :

nice, simple look, well coordinated

Blogger Colin Wilson said ... (3:59 PM) :

which APC shoes are those? theyre beautiful in that outfit

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:01 PM) :

Great shoes. And I believe you can notice a little flannel sticking out of the jacket.

I was in the Lower East Side last night and noticed no less than a dozen flannel jackets/shirts.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:57 PM) :

he's the sort of boy i fall in love with. i never see them enough...perhaps i need to move to New York. Or would that just make them undesirable since in New York they are as easy to come by as a fake lv bag.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:27 PM) :

First impression is that he looks very Swedish (coming from a Swede)! Second; "oh I wish..."

Blogger Bobby D. said ... (5:29 PM) :

He looks like Steve McQueen in " The Great Escape"

It really is a great photograph.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:18 PM) :

He's making sort of a funny face, but overall, the look is hot.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:20 PM) :

Umm, no one in a dior jacket is a poor man's anything.

Blogger Samantha said ... (6:28 PM) :

hawt...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:29 PM) :

Great shot. It takes a keen eye to apreciate the the subtlies here. I HATE to say it but he doesn't seem American. Maybe it IS the way he wears the scarve. Well done!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:14 PM) :

i think this is the straightest that jordan has ever looked

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:20 PM) :

the new James Dean? I like it! the attitude, the fitted clothes, and neutral colours. he could almost be a model. I want his shoes too...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:49 PM) :

He looks uncomfortable. I think he needs to loosen his clothes ever so slightly and breathe. Some people squeeze into the slimfit look and just need an extra half inch of relaxing.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:10 PM) :

come on, that's so average

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:56 PM) :

I kind of feel as though this entire look is nothing new. It really seems like a standard look of young men around the world.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:28 AM) :

sart, i feel so bad to say this, but this guy and the guy before him...i don't get it.
what is it that inspires you? they just seem so...so...i guess for me that look is all over san francisco...i don't see any style and certainly nothing sartorial about them.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:54 AM) :

woww so hot!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:06 AM) :

It's all about that jacket and the wrapping of that scarf here. Oh and the cocky "I'm so effortlessly hot" demeanour. Brilliant.

Energie

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:39 AM) :

does anybody know full info on the jacket? is it current season? i think i'm in love with it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:54 AM) :

Tonight just for info in case of your presence in Paris : Thom Browne at Brooks Brothers St Honoré ! 18h. to 20h. (6 to 8 pm) !!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:37 AM) :

A look I love. Favourite is the fit of the pants, next the jacket, and the scarf and shoes that I love as well. Not overlydone, but executed with precision and ease.

Great style and flair!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:05 PM) :

he looks like a young steve mcqueen.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:01 PM) :

that's my old roommate. he's a wonderful. <3 curtis.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:48 PM) :

Nice jeans! Are they Cheap Monday?
Can't wait for A.P.C.'s sale.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:03 AM) :

I wore that exact same outfit in 1979!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:18 PM) :

I think his trousers are Dior Homme - a pair from the Fall '05 collection are listed on eBay and they look just like the ones this gent is wearing:

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:55 AM) :

"It's a uniform for the 20-something fresh-out-of-art-school kids"

That's basically me. But we do not all look like that. Please don't generalize and entire group and generation of people

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:25 PM) :

Jordan? hey, hey.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:30 PM) :

ah that's jordan!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:03 AM) :

I LOVE HIM!
