Comments on "A Black Leather Jacket (for him and her) That Won't Make You Look Like Fonzie, Milan"
awesome but there's some strangeness about this guy proportions.
Love the girl's outfit !
what´s he hiding in his belly-area?
Great jackets! I think the fact that they're both very fitted is what makes this look modern, not Fonzie.
lets just talk about him - this just proves that even when you make sartorial errors [the proportions are a tad odd, yes] that all is saved completely when you are cute looking!
i love these two pics....they would have looked cool side-by-side, as if they were looking at each other and thinking: damn, that's a nice jacket.... :)
and i like how the guy's jacket fits really snug...
oh wow, super inspiring. wearing head to toe black with a pale army green pashima!
the guy has gorgeous hair
it's so hard to find jackets with length that's right at the waist like this. you'd have to be at least 6feet tall to have a jacket fit this well or you can shop at the kids section.
this fits great on both of them. :D
I think what makes the guy look weird is the not long enough "cavalo"... the crutch area. how do you call that in english? (sartorialy speaking of course)
Who's Fonzie anyway?? so many jokes in american sitcoms with Fonzie, now i see Fonzie mentioned here so I want to know!
What's wrong with The Fonz?
He looks nice, but for me his trousers are too baggy.
Thay both look so good!
Black, white, and gray... You may call it uninspiring, unadventurous, but somehow it's always the most elegant look in the room.
I love the juxtaposition the girl is working...wonderful.
don't think they get a lot prettier than this, wow
You see this jacket`s all over northern europe in black or brown. Unisex.. but not to exciting.
he still looks a little fonzie...
I think all people should own a cropped leather jacket... in either black or brown. It is the perfect addition to a spring or fall wardrobe when a lighter jacket is needed. I'm in love with the luscious leather hoodies from Mike & Chris- they are amazing.
I love his hair, I think his pants are really awkward and the bulging of the jacket is unflattering. The girls head scarf thing just swallows her whole and does nothing for me.
His jacket!!
And his hair! This picture made me not want to cut my hair
I dunno, I do see a little bit of the fonze in him.
The girl however, looks amazing. Really nice color, porportion, and vibe.
I love European boys.
I love the fact that she doesn't have a handbag and he as lots!
Meow, meow! Both of them are hot... that is the idea when wearing a leader jacket, no?
I love the black jacket. Is brown suede impossible without irony?
Who was Fonzie? Sacrilige! LOL
He was a character on a tv show called "Happy Days" that ran back in the 1970s by director Henry Winkler (director Ron Howard was on it too).
The show took place in the 1950s suburbia and Fonzie was the Marlon Brando/James Dean type kid who wear a bicker jacket, had a ducks ass hair do, got all the chicks, and rode a motorcycle. IOW Authur Fonzelli was Milwalkees local bad ass.
If you're familiar w/ James Dean in "Rebel Without A Cause" and most especially Marlon Brando's "The Wild One", that's the look and 'tude involved. Brando's famous line from the film came after he was asked "what are you rebelling against?"....Brando says "whaddaya got?".
"Happy Days" and Fonzie are also the origins of the phrase "jumped the shark". The character actually jumped a shark after which pint the show started going downhill. So when you see someone saying X show "jumped the shark" it means that after a certain definable point, the show started to stink.
why do you keep posting old pictures? are you having a slow phase?
this guy is so cute!
Ashley Olsen has been wearing that exact jacket (the bottom one) for like, three years. This is hardly refreshing.
I love the looks on their faces.
You can't go wrong with a black leather jacket! So nice! /Sophie♥
Can anyone tell me who makes that specific jacket? I see similar ones everywhere in France but this is a little nicer than most.
Love the guy`s outfit!!
For Jerry
when I am in Europe I'm working so fast I don't really have time to digest what I am seeing.
Right now I have a little more time to write about the ideas and themes I have been seeing the last few months which I think strengths the conversation of this blog.
I also want to make sure that the images I take for style.com have a home on my blog because they often are hard to find on Style.com once the shows are over.
He looks dandy, while also looking almost exactly like The Fonz.
There's no getting around it.
I agree with the above anon comment. He looks really alluring but he also looks a lot like the Fonz.
I'm really inspired by the cut of the girl's jacket and her layering shades of gray. LOVE IT!
tag question:
I see the tag on her scarf..What about that? Tag or no tag?
1) love it, but he does look like the fonz.
2) this look is nothing new, true.
3) i have been searching for a jacket like this but with smaller pockets not in leather (too expensive; no pleather for me please), for the past two years here in the US, and i just FINALLY found one that i like. after seeing tons of cute ones for sale on foreign websites. shopping in the states is SO frustrating sometimes....!!!
What a thoroughly gorgeous looking man! His look reminds me of the French actor Romain Duris - the most handsome and stylish man in cinema - in 'The Beat That My Heart Skipped' xxx
this guy is perfect. an really pleasure to look at him.
great pic(k)
hi there,
could anyone tell me what jacket is it that the guy? I figure it is an A-2 type jacket and the fit is what ive been lookin' for for quite a while. TIA.
How and where and can you get a jacket like that without spending $700+ on a Mike and Chris jacket? Sigh.
Definitely shorten pants, with no stacking at all, and I think that would finish the entire look.
I'm in love :) The boy is beautiful
