At first I thought that this is a guy who just pulled something out of his closet,but when I enlarged the picture I noticed that he has 3 tshirts on and they are meaningfully pulled on a bit sloppily.The pants lay loose too and the green bag repeats the green on his top tshirt.And naturally -sneakers.Well,this works on a youngish,good looking guy,but the rest of us :Bewhere!
The stripes in the sweater are being perfectly complemented by the gray undershirt. Layering at its finest.

I think this guy did a great job, it's so well composed! The layers, the trousers and then... he sadly wears that white sneakers. Don't mistake me, I like sneakers, but perhaps the color wasn't the best choice.

Those supacool stripes. Again. Had to scroll down to check. (Pun not intended)
Love the sweater, and he's thin enough to pull off the horizontal stripe. But the untucked undershirt and trousers worn low, with the fabric bunched up at the sneakers, make his legs seem a bit short.
Sorry, but this is a major miss, I think.
The overlong sweater and low-rise pants, also too long, make the guy look stumpy.
The horizontal stripes (nice colors!)do nothing to remedy the situation--rather the opposite.
The bag, however, is great.
Ooooops. He's wearing a sweater and a shirt (and another shirt)--my error.
But the effect, as I noted previously, is the same.
Sart, I am in love with this layered knitwear you are capturing on la rue des Paris! The gent in the photo of "that hat, That smile" and none this strapping young buck with his chipper strips over a solid. J'LOVE! It is always amazing to me how Parisian men can buy easy pieces and recreate them in a intellectual and street worthy way. Of course, it is his tote that wins the ribbon, fantastic.

The v-neck and t-shirt combo has alwys came across as dubious to me, but he pulls it off somehow, unfortunately.
The way he blocks off lengths is pretty great, and quite CDG. Slouchy never looked so, "cute".
I think the pants are too low and make for an awkward proportion.

i don't see this working at all. as a guy, i will honestly admit that there are guys who can pull this look of but this guy here, not a success.
it's alway sone of those arguements for dressing gracefully for your age...i think it's all too young for him.

I like the sweater and he's a cute guy, but if I saw this outfit on the street where I live I'd say "schlub." Just 'cause it's Paris don't make it right!
I love striped sweaters but this guy does not look elegant at all. Sloppy, and if it is on purpose, bad choice.
Slouchy but chic. Proves you can be comfortable without sacrifing style, something more Americans could stand to learn.
This guy has a Marc Jacobs look about him.

While the sweater is great, the layering , I feel, is a bit much, and the low inseam/rise thing going on with his pants make his legs look very short.str
i hate to be a negative voice in a matter that is so superficial, but i have to say the comment calling this chap a "peter pan" was spot on. this is great if your 12-21. but come on...i would expect more from a 21 y.o. it would be great to be carefree enough to dress anyway i wish.
I love this, I just can't stand the low-rise/short leg jeans.
The crotch of his pants is way too low, and the shirt needs a tuck, but I enjoy the sweater. I feel like it would be awesome with a shirt and tie: sort of whacky, but good.

Some of you guys need to lighten UP! I am annoyed that a few are saying there is an age limit to having fun with stripes and color and going for JOY in life by doing so! Soon you will look older than your chronological age because of your narrow myopic viewpoint.. Get away from the computer and go to Burning Man.

You've got it all wrong guys (and girls)! Sart did a nice shot because, like he says, it is a question of eyes, not of look. You're making comments on T-shirts and bags, but look at the guy and what relies inside: this is what is shown on that picture, here. I wonder who he is: 3 T-shirts for 3 different cultures ? A "40 year old guy who works" like Sart says ? Anyway, sometimes, model transcends stuff...
