If there ever was a guy that was "cute" this picture would fit to a T. I'm looking at his rounded helmet with his scooter(?) - we would call that a "moped" in Sweden. And his dress style to go with the entire do. CUTE.

Sorry, there is nothing special in this picture.Only the fact that it is a her not a him.I know a girl ,who comes to our stables to ride horses with a red bike. She looks like Misha Barton, but is so much sweeter.I believe if you had her pic. this photo wouldn´t need publishing.

I like the old "vélo Solex" very much ! And funny helmet (do you say helmet in english ?)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:08 AM) :

Fun photograph. I enjoy the angle on the body but those hands should be massive. The marshmallowtommyhathelmet is great.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:55 AM) :

he looks so much like ricky martin when he was just starting out (menudo days.)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:46 PM) :

THIS IS HOW YOU LOOK COOL IN A HELMET! this. is. how. thank you sir.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:04 PM) :

this could only be in paris - it's classic, something you see fifty times a day - but nevertheless a great photo. thanks, sart.

mon deu, j'adore paris!

Blogger MARIA H said ... (3:44 PM) :

He is dressed dangerously to take a ride on that little super awesome scooter: what a humorous contrast.
I insist saying the best of Paris fashion is the backdrop!
Architecture makes or brakes a city's character.
In the case of Paris, all aesthetic choices are more beautiful than same expressions happening in industrial landscapes (read NYC).

Someone should offer special tours through Paris on the back of moped of a kid like this.

It's a heart-stopping experience, believe me!

The helmet is far too big. She looks like the Pet Shop Boys back in the 90s. She should wear a Davida helmet, known as "the bowl"!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:01 PM) :

my goodness. the young'uns sure are taking this ironic punk new wave eighties rehash thing to the hilt, ain't they?

skinny is as skinny does, i guess.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:11 PM) :

Looks like a member of the Moped Army in Ballard (Seattle).

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:12 AM) :

acutally anon 7:06 i think the general consensus is that this is a very pretty dude. sorry he's not intersting enough for you, but if you've been following this site, you'd know that mr. sart has been posting a very enjoyable running commentary on bikes, looking chic on them, and also specifically how to rock a helmet. so far this take is original to this website. so it's more than worthy.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:36 PM) :

Well said, anonymous 3:12 AM. This person isn't wearing something aggressively fashion-forward or, maybe, even that unique. But perhaps that's the best thing about this shot. All the elements--the black rocker jeans, round helmet and vintage solex--captured in this one moment feel stylishly classic. It's a delightful shot and I would love to think that on a lucky day any one of us might look so good.

I saw a lot of those motorized bicycles in Paris. Love it. It probably uses very little gas and still gets you around pretty easily.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:36 PM) :

My city, Chicago, is far away from Paris, but many of the moped kids here have a similar classically edgy, somewhat androgynous look. Is this the subcultural style worldwide? I'm afraid I'm too old to know, lol!

There is another crowd of moped riders here who have a hip hop influenced, but sleek style. They are a delight to behold!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:47 PM) :

Hey look! It's a hipster in a stupid helmet! Come to Rainbo or Rodan in Chicago - these bars are filled with guys like this, showing us how "different" they all are.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:48 PM) :

I absolutely love skinny jeans on guys. And this guy's so adorable, with that moped, and that shy smile.
