in loooove with that dress. like the contrast of the green in the dress/green in the coat. a superb fall look!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:12 AM) :

must be the new color! so rich. its great with her hair color too.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:16 AM) :

that green dress keeps reappearing! any idea where its from? Its gorge. :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:31 AM) :

two well appointed ypoung ladies, but don't you think the shoes on the first one are a bit of a stretch? she looks like the office gals you see crammed into the subway at 8:00 a.m., all dressed up with those puffy white sneakers.

Blogger Carolina Lange said ... (10:51 AM) :

The coat of the first picture is really great!
And the look of the second picture is amazing! Love the green dress!

Blogger Esteban said ... (11:43 AM) :

I'm not sure on the white sports shoes?? She must be very cool, to get away with what could be a fashion faux pas!

Green looks a winning colour for the autumn season!

Blogger Landis said ... (11:51 AM) :

what is the issue with green?
we see it so rarely, yet it looks so good on so many people. it's a neutral (in that it sits well with so many of it's cousins), yet it's distinctive. it's the friend so many of us look for, but rarely find.

ok. i am WAY too sleepy to be writing at this point.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:17 PM) :

For the girl in the first picture, trow away the shoes as quick as you can!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:44 PM) :

NO,no no,I don´t like these. The bag and the sneakers on the first girl don´t fit with the rest of the outfit. The second girl just lacks the it in her´s. Don´t see the red thread in these pictures.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:10 PM) :

I love both of these looks.
In fact, I think i've found my next knitting project...

Blogger Brian said ... (1:26 PM) :

I love both of their outfits EXCEPT for the first woman's shoes. WHY?! Simple flats would have made the outfit 10X better. It's comparable to when girls where flip-flops with dresses. You know, what's the point?

Blogger Eli said ... (2:13 PM) :

I adore gree, my favorite color. I have stopped wearing it for a while...I think I've just been inspired to wear it again!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:15 PM) :

ok, let's be honest. the sneakers are a crime!i'm all for comfort, but she is killing it for me.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:26 PM) :

GORGEOUS! entire outfit + hair is just perfect. i love how the leather is reflected in the badass bikes in the background :)

Blogger Lisa said ... (2:28 PM) :

I love green, but not just any old green. It has to be that rich earthy malachite color. Love the second lady and that dress. It's wonderful. Both ladies look very happy.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:36 PM) :

Will be delighted if this is a harbringer of more of this green to US markets. Love it! Speaking as a redhead, very glad to see it back.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:42 PM) :

beautiful green.

Blogger Blue Floppy Hat said ... (2:49 PM) :

I love the fact that the first lady's very polished outfit is finished off with sneakers. But her smile just makes the picture.

Blogger cranberry said ... (3:16 PM) :

Lovely. I do love the combination of greens in the second picture. Gorge.

Blogger hc said ... (3:38 PM) :

thank you, Sart, for the joy and work

Muy mona

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:16 PM) :

love the green, but what is up with those sneakers...it's not the 80's anymore people... sneakers and dress clothes are a fashion don't!!!

Blogger Pauspling said ... (5:55 PM) :

I don't like the sneakers. Sneakers rarely look good. But everything else: magnificent!

Blogger Unknown said ... (5:57 PM) :

the first girl is just gorgeous...
but those sneakers?!?!?!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:57 PM) :

ok i know for SURE you've shown both of these pics on your site before. why?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:01 PM) :

Love love love the ruffled green dress. Not to be unkind but I have to ask why a woman would do that to her hair--awful.

Blogger Andy said ... (6:30 PM) :

i am a big supporter of wearing comfortable tennis or ballet flats or whatever during the commute to the office, however, the white nikes are killing that outfit in the first picture. i think less poofy tennis shoes or black flats would have been a lot better.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:35 PM) :

First one:Those sneakers gotta go!
Second one looks very good.

Blogger kitty-san said ... (6:47 PM) :

I also don´t like the sneakers on the first image but absolutelly LOVE the coat.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:21 PM) :

I have to agree that photo #1 needs a shoe overhaul - quick!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:37 AM) :

Isn't this Milano and Paris??

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:11 AM) :

These are lovely colours. The outfit on the first lady is wonderful...until you get to the shoes. I don't understand what she was thinking; I do believe there should be some comfortable, better-looking alternatives.

Blogger Claire said ... (5:58 AM) :

I knew the second I saw the first image there would be a load of people in the comment section moaning about the shoes, because god forbid, someone hasn't conformed to this seasons ankle boot (I thought the same of the "hammer pants" a few days ago - that girl pulled them off and she looked amazing). I for one, think the shoes work, but then again, I live in London, where plimpsoles are over done on a daily basis, so I'm just to this look by now!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:31 AM) :

the second dress is from topshop

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:33 AM) :

Must. Buy. Deep. Green. For. Fall.

Blogger mette said ... (9:24 AM) :

The outfit (not just the sneakers) of the first girl is just freaking ugly!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:49 PM) :

Sorry (re: the top photo). I know a happy smile covers alot but those shoes! Not nuts about the puffy hair do either, but as I say, there is something to be said but wearing something with confidence.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:34 PM) :

honestly the top one, not a fan however the jacket is divine if it were worn with a more classic outfit and the bottom pic is effortlessly chic how do they do it?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:31 PM) :

"deep" green, or- "forest" green and black combined really clashes to me, no? i find it very hard to partner with black...an eyesore. worse than black and navy.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:14 AM) :

Thank you, Sart! It's great to see someone who's comfortable and confident enough in how they look to throw on a pair of sneakers for trekking around the city streets. She'll be doing pirouettes in 50 years, when the 4-inch heel-wearers are all telling their grandkids to go fetch things for them. :)

Aside from that, her sweater/jacket is magnificent. Love the second subject's look, too. They both wear green really well.

Blogger Pistachio Of Liberty said ... (5:06 AM) :

Is this not the same green dress worn by a woman with red sandals this summer? She was walking alongside uh... whatsername - ?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:22 AM) :

I think the girl in the first picture is wearing sneakers cause her feet hurt because she's been working all day. She probably has a pair of amazing shoes in her bag but she's way more comfortable and fresh with her sneakers...besides that she's so young and cute she can pull off anything and look great...oh, and I know her from high school!

Blogger MARIA H said ... (8:36 AM) :

love all! specially the shades of green qith black. But the hair needs some pampering.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:39 AM) :

Eh, sorry? My first thought about the first picture was: "Hey, amazing that someone dares to wear those shoes to that outfit." I think it doesn't give her a unconventional look, but I do think it gives her this "down to earth"-touch, still with a fashion sensibility. She's got style!

I think the most of you commenting are a bit too conservative and into "This is how 2007 should look, this is how a fashionable person should wear their clothes"-thinking.

And I'm not only talking about the comments about this girl.

cheers

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:05 PM) :

I love the varying shades of green...very artfully done. I would prefer a deeper brown hair color though, but in all, a beautiful composition.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:39 PM) :

The Green dress in the second photograph is TopShop
