He is astoundingly beautiful, like a statue. The formal details enhance this; his placid, almost cold expression brings it to the next level. Reduced to its constituent elements, maybe there's nothing spectacular about this look. But taken together with the wearer, the pieces come to life, and they, in turn, re-animate him.

Well, there's an idea here--several, in fact.
But the execution and final look don't add up.
The top is simply too tight--ditto the pants; it all looks clumsy/ill-fitting and, well, cheesy.
i've been watching lots of BBC movies since i've been home recovering from surgery... he belongs in Daniel Deronda.
He looks like he has been superimposed on this mundane scene; he seems to be floating slightly above the ground.
This is a really amazing photograph.
He is lovely -- not many other men could pull off that haircut -- and the outfit's concept is perfect, especially with his slim frame, but something's a little off. The clothes need pressing. Maybe they got wrinkled on the metro.

The look is so linear and clean, yet it isn't at all rigid - love it!

So Slim! LOVE IT.
He has the "modern" look of a fencer (is that the right word)? That he is carrying nothing adds nonchalance. I love the folds in the clothes as well, they are perfectly distributed and prevent his looking prissy.
The clothes are perfect, but (and I know I've mentioned this before) I wish men wouldn't put their hands in their pockets. It really distorts the lines of the clothes.
So sleek!
Outfits like this leave me both impressed and uncomfortable. It appears as if the wearer must need constant "adjustment" to keep things in their place (not bunched or pulled in the wrong spots). This fit takes commitment.

I like his slimness and the clothes he is wearing fit a slim guy.The high buttoning of his shirt makes me fear that he might choke anytime.
his clothes, though clearly expensive, are just to small, hence all the wrinkles. and i don't care what the fashionistas say, but i can't wait for this whole "no belt" thing to be over. it's a weird trend...a man should wear a belt.

you know what? i think that with nice clothes and a well-executed outfit, wrinkles are ok. people are not mannequins. if we're living, we're sitting and standing and bending and moving. it's unrealistic to not allow for a little natural wrinklage. having said that, it's different than seeing tha fabric pulling, indicating something may be too tight. he looks svelt and interesting, and the wrinkles create texture. the only area that's a little bothersome is the crooks of his elbows. i've worn shirts that are too snnug in the arm, and it creates that tight wrinkle pattern. it's just uncomfortable to feel that pinch whenever you bend your arms.

He does look great. But it's not that it's too tight on him but that it's too long on him. If it sat just a little flatter because it wasn't all bunched up it might look better.
Funny thing, looking at this tight shirt, I feel...envy of him.
I also love tight blouses on ME, but as I have cup D, at breast height I always have a hole between two buttons :-)))

I absolutely must protest giuseppe timore's assertion that a "man must wear a belt." Firstly, who say so? You? This magazine? That tradition?
So WHAT?
Second, being a shorter man standing only 5'10", I can personally attest to the benefits of skipping the belt; it creates less division between the legs and the torso and — as evidenced by the young gentlemen pictured — just makes an entire ensemble feel more sleek, modern yet relaxed.

I am of several minds about this boy.
First I must admit that I love his shirt, but I am afraid if he inhales to deeply he'll blow every button on the poor strained thing!
Secondly, if these trousers were in Denim there would be hell to pay in the comments section. I am beyond relieve that he had thrust his hands into his pockets, as I am afraid there would have been NOTHING left to the imagination if he had not! How are those pants staying up, double sided tape. They are cut at crotch height for crying out loud.
I fear that pants might just become leg warmers in the near future as the waistline continues to drop futher south...shackles anyone. LOL
Sart you do have a brilliant eye and he is a lovely lad. THank you as always for combing the world streets to brings us a chance to observe and needlessly comment.

Even if it made their clothes look better (a debatable point), you are asking men to stop doing what they've done for ages for the sake of their "look." Impossible. I'll never budge. LOL
The collar! I've never seen a collar like that -- it's fantastic! I love this look -- the shirt is so tight and the pants are so slim, and the collar is just the hint of a collar, so it's slim, too, and his hair is slim. The whole thing screams uptight! then it's wrinkled, which says, no, not so much. I love the juxtaposition.
I don't know if the shirt is too long and he's not tucking it all the way in or it's a bad fit on him. But it does give him that long, lean look. Great pants though.

Aah, some of these comments miss the aesthetic completely! When was the last time you saw a shirt with such an interesting collar detail, and yet with such a fit?! Exquisite and don't get me started on the pants, the most wonderful fabric and the total commitment to the slim look is incredible. I love this, right down to his "would you expect any less" attitude.

i like the outfit! but as it has been said the shirt is so tight i pulls, and that well beyond fitted even in europe. My grandmother who in an Italian tailor moved the inside button on a double breasted jacket of mine three times so it wouldn't pull or be too loose. I love the concept and admire the confidence! i would just prefer a better fitting shirt.
