so crisp!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:24 PM) :

The high top pants with the side tabs are genius. I would love to have seen these pieces dressed up a little more. Perhaps with a suit jacket to match the pants. Brilliant.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:11 PM) :

rather like this pic from a month ago: http://bp3.blogger.com/_qjpwnPW4c1o/RsIX1DH_DDI/AAAAAAAAB2c/o2bNQVy3zQU/s400/WhtTop.jpg

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:27 PM) :

Wow. Absolutely beautiful, top to bottom.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:27 PM) :

So basically what you're saying is that this lady looks good all year 'round as well as in - or on - anything?

I agree,
mltt

Perfect.

I love those trousers. What is the fabric? Anyone know who makes them? I'd love a pair in light wool.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:24 PM) :

great casual look but still high fashion with the high-waist pants and the white shirt was done perfectly too, with it open at the neck. no jewelery is a great way to simplify & make it casual as well

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:05 PM) :

love the look alot.. but are women allowed to do the black with light/tan brown combo ? I know that is a fashion no no for men

Blogger Jennifer said ... (8:49 PM) :

is this the same woman you posted once wearing a very cool multi-collared shirt-dress?
this is wonderful. she's fantastic. thanks for sharing her.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:46 PM) :

cute cute cute cute cute. this is definitely a style of high-waisted pants that i could get into!

Blogger Anna said ... (10:25 PM) :

was she the one from a few months ago with a great shirtdress and a pack of cigarettes in the front pocket?

Blogger The Spicers said ... (10:30 PM) :

Gold jazz shoes-love it!

Blogger T said ... (10:39 PM) :

Love how she wears her pants high. The side belt buckles are awesome. This look just wouldn't work without the hair though.

Your work keeps me inspired.

Blogger Nisa Risa Perisacooper said ... (12:29 AM) :

perfect in its simplicity!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:44 AM) :

To me, the nude shoes are what makes this outfit. There is nothing I would change.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:52 AM) :

love it!

Blogger Keystofer said ... (3:11 AM) :

Amazing smile... she made those high-waisted pants work... she really did!!! ;-)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:30 AM) :

what wonderful style! More shots of her please...

Blogger pig_93 said ... (10:23 AM) :

unpretentious is a great word to describe this outfit. she wears it really well.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:14 AM) :

Great proportions; this outfit really suits her small waist. And I love that she pulls off the edgy-straight-across-brow-bangs look without an ounce of contempt.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:52 PM) :

The look would have been perfect had she gone for Higher heels, without them she looks much shorter.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:03 PM) :

fabulous -- and again with the perfect setting for the photo.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:04 PM) :

Sart,

I like your work abroad, but at home you somehow miss the catch. Or is it the catch that is missing in the States?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:52 PM) :

Love it. This is the first thing I've seen that makes me think high-waisted pants can look good.

Blogger Barbara said ... (8:18 PM) :

Is this the same girl that moved to NYC and changed drastically in a year? She is one of my favorites. Brilliant style.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:37 PM) :

Yet another stylish take on the white shirt theme. One can probably go a long way with this look and Carolina Herrera's combination with a skirt. Simply love it!

PS: the shoes are cool, and I wish these loafer-types would be more widely available for and worn by women. It's hard to find the same range and quality that men have at their disposal.

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (10:46 AM) :

Fantastic. I love everything about the shirt and trousers, the cut, the fit, the proportions. She looks great!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:43 PM) :

She's rocking the menswear look, completely, and on a silly personal note, her impish smile reminds me of a really goofy professor I have who never stops cracking jokes in class. Love it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:54 PM) :

Yeah. I need those shoes. Seriously. This makes me want to do some version of a white on top/black on the bottom combination daily. Easy, chic and classic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:10 PM) :

what? tan and black are a fashion faux pas? since when?

Blogger Amy Paige said ... (2:34 AM) :

Hate the rolled up pants. Very attractive woman though.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:09 AM) :

She just totally got it!

It's just the simplest way that a women can be gorgeous...

Clap clap clap!

Nice shoot Mr. Sarto' ;-)

A.

Blogger joanne said ... (1:43 AM) :

mui mui, joanne
