HE IS DOIN' IT, TO IT! Great mix of patterns, and a well tailored Double Breasted suit...Well done.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:57 AM) :

I am really considering buying a double breasted suit, after seeing how good they can look when they fit correctly. Years of seeing uncles in horribly fitted db's at weddings scarred me. However, Sart has shown me otherwise!

"Straight Pimpin' Wall Street" should have been the title (Uhh, Wall Street is in NY, right?)

Love how he brings some classic uptown style to what seems to be a kinda classic suit.

mltt

Love the blue shoes.

" THE BLACK GASTBY!!"
WHAT MORE IS THERE TO SAY....MANHATTAN TO THE MAX!!

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (1:10 PM) :

wow, he looks hot!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:16 PM) :

I love it! so over the top!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:47 PM) :

absolutely stunning.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:47 PM) :

Good looking guy. Nice suit, even if it's a bit too matchy-matchy for my taste. Nicely put together, but the fit seems a bit awkward. It looks like this magnificent man doesn't have quite enough room to breathe.

Blogger Berkley Magazine said ... (1:56 PM) :

Flawless outfit! I love everything about it, especially the daring blue shoes. I badly want his tie and pocket square.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:43 PM) :

oouh maaannnn... I like the shoes!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:31 PM) :

matchy matchy can work on women, but for some reason it doesn't seem to work the same on men.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:00 PM) :

The outfit and the pic are beyond, any doubt, superlative!
But going back and referencing the gentleman from Italy,Marcelo, I believe we should distinguish panache from elegance. You see,one doesnt't preclude the other; you could say they're mutually exclusive. For example, the gentleman displayed on this picture. There is not doubt his outfit is elegant, etc.. but he lacks panache thus the outcome could be interpreted as inelegant. You put that suit on L. Barbera and you have the embodiment of elegance. The old axiom my boy " the person makes the clothes not the other way around."- AFA/JR

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:17 PM) :

Dapper.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:32 PM) :

That is one sharp Cat!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:47 PM) :

Why no comments? Is the sheer perfection of this ensemble too intimidating? The blue shoes lift the effect from elegant to exhilarating.

Blogger Mr. Badami said ... (5:11 PM) :

usually such over color coordination looks pretentious, but this guy really pulls it off with élan.....

Are the shoes the correct style for this suit? They seem too casual/sporty to me. Any other ideas?

Blogger Butch said ... (6:28 PM) :

The guy is doing well, even if the jacket spans at the button, until...we...get...to the shoes.

Yikes!

By the way, don't we want to comment on T. Brown's codpiece fashions? I'd say, we do....

Blogger Elijah James said ... (6:48 PM) :

Great fit, those details on the jacket are everything I'm looking for.

Blogger andrew said ... (7:31 PM) :

Blue Shoes, this man is my hero! I love it With the Pocket Square! Thanks for this picture!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:46 PM) :

Love the blue hints! It just makes his outfit so much cooler

Blogger Thomas said ... (8:37 PM) :

This outfit destroys. Here's to men looking like men and not over-stimulated toddlers. To me, this look is still fun, while staying masculine and sharp. A double-breasted suit that fits this well must have cost a pretty penny though.

Blogger -S said ... (8:46 PM) :

i love how he's bringing back the classic double breasted suit. much better than the regular suit most men are sporting around with now.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:30 PM) :

Great tailoring and nice shirt. The working sleeve buttons do not go unnoticed. The shoes? Well, not my taste, but he seems to pull it off fine.

Blogger riz said ... (9:36 PM) :

This guy is the S*** I have to say, I went to Bryant Park, because I was at Tracy Reese, and I have to say there were a range of levels of attire - from completely uptight and overly restricted, to polished, chic yet comfortable, and then dressed down-chic. The range as I said really surprised me in a good way. I myself wore levi's with a Cynthia Rowley black dress on top and a MJ bag with Banana Republic patent black peep-toe flats. Everyone was laid back in their attitudes, nobody looked down on anyone. It defied all the media hype really...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:16 PM) :

damn and he's got that carisma about him as well! well done sir

Blogger stacy said ... (1:06 AM) :

Hello! You've got my attention...no doubt about it!

Blogger Dovid said ... (3:02 AM) :

I love it all. I love polka dots and respect any man who'll wear them. I love double breasted suits and respect their wearers, too. But the shoes... Why those shoes? Why, I ask, why?!

Blogger Carlos Mangubat said ... (4:35 AM) :

i love those shoes

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:36 AM) :

Probably the best dressed gentleman on this blog since Matteo Marzotto. Everything works - picture perfect. Well done Monsieur !!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:47 AM) :

THE "BLACK GATSBY" INDEED! F. SCOTT WOULD INDEED BE PROUD OF THIS SATORIAL ELEGANCE....AN ULTRA ELAN TAKE ON THE LOOKS OF YESTER-YEARS!!

UTTERLY ROMANTIC...PERSONIFIED!!!!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:09 AM) :

So overstated!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:33 AM) :

yes, well done... but a little bit over the edge...
more mix of patterns and colors can be better style.
but i understand him, his idea was all around the blue shoes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:21 AM) :

Straight from old Hollywood (aka the new Tom Ford store).

Blogger Anonymous said ... (11:08 AM) :

We wouldn't expect anything less from the dapper Mr. IH. HOT HOT HOT. Ro & Phil

Blogger Unknown said ... (1:17 PM) :

Blogger Sam said ... (12:23 PM) :

Sharp. I dig the blue kicks!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:41 PM) :

looks good, but the shoes are really bad.

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (1:48 PM) :

Blue shoes.

Does it get any better?! He looks extremely well tailored but those shoes are amazing!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:05 PM) :

I think he looks great but I have to concur with the poster who said the outfit was a little too matchy. The whole effect almost feels costumey to me. He pulls it off, however, with his bravado.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:11 PM) :

oh absolutely superb. i'm speechless. easily the bet male outfit (& attitude) so far.

Blogger Unknown said ... (11:16 PM) :

2 2 cold..

Blogger Unknown said ... (11:23 PM) :

I love the gray against the vibrant blue.

Blogger The Glam Life said ... (11:59 AM) :

Damn, he looks good. Now that's gangsta'!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:26 PM) :

He's tried very hard, and he looks good. Unfortunately by trying so hard he doesn't look great.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:53 PM) :

i believe the gentleman is ian hylton, a fellow canadian...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:09 PM) :

I am reading backwards, as i haven't visited in a few days. But I have to leave this comment:

This is the look sept 15th's guy should aim for: it pops, it is gorgeous and in no way over the top.

Beautiful!

Blogger doanything24 said ... (1:17 PM) :

How could you not LOVE the personality in this outfit!? Very well done!

Blogger biglakestyle said ... (9:08 PM) :
