Comments on "On The Street.......Williamsburg, New York"
wow, her shoes are crazy! did she mention where she found them?
This is my neighborhood--she always looks fun and fresh, not forced (like so many of our hipsters, who tend to go overboard with too many looks at once). Always a smile too (another rarity in this neck of the woods)! I love those sandals.
love everything but the shoes. the shoes are awful and it is also the thing that draws my attention
Modest sheer gear?
mltt
I like this techie-outerspacy look! It's kind of 80's, but also very fresh. Hope to see more of it around.
Perfect, gauzy thing for this stifling heat!
LOVE the shoes!!!
I love silver and black together. And her hair, so cute!
ooh! i love it all.
I saw the side pony tail listed on some fashion TV show's "Top 100 Don'ts" and I whole-heartedy disagreed.
Thank you for validating me in this school of thought.
so diggin the metallic sandals!
anyone has any idea where they re from??
adorable. i love her metallic sandals. anyone know the designer?
Love the berry coloured berry in her hand!
Great proportions, great hair.
Wow, her expression just says "I know you're looking at my shoes and they are FABULOUS"!
For the most part I think that the readers of The Sartorialist are far too refined to leave negative comments regarding the lovely photos. But I adore shoes far too much to let this one slide. My eyes are offended. Mars called, and it wants it's official footwear back. I do not care if they are a high end designer. They are awful. But the woman is very cute, and I like the dress. (always try to end on a positive note - please please take those shoes off).
I've seen many variations of those shoes, but I thinking she wearing them BEST!
she's adorable
hehe, I'm sure she is perfectly fine with the majority calling the shoes "awful"...not all people dress to follow popular demands.
This is a case of a beautiful smile and nice hair making an outfit.
Love the the simplicity of the black top and bottom, and can appreciate the bold statement the metallic shoes are making. A metallic and nuetral are always a nice combo. However, the clunkyness of the shoes weigh her down and make her look awkward. The shoes would look stunning, were they of an alternate silhouette.

she looks like sandra oh.
cute dress, but the shoes make her feet look like baked potatoes wrapped in foil!
Idon´t know what she is actually wearing, but somehow it kinda suits her.
she looks nothing like sandra oh
wow. stunning.
she looks lovely!
Cutie!
The dress is very interesting, too. Sheer with a sort of apron-overlay thingie. Worth a second look.

I love her whole look, including the sandals!
The person who says she looks like Sandra Oh made me laugh. Oh, us Asians all look the same :D

why do you have to make it into a racial issue?
you have to admit that they share the same facial features--eyes, cheekbones, face shape. try a google image search of sandra oh, and you'll see. (believe me, i did that before making my comment.)
she is my hairstylist! she always dresses so well. hey sart, if you want some more subjects for photos, be sure to check out the mudhoney salon on bond st. i always think of you whenever i go there.
spacy metallic shoes & apron skirt? who'd have thunk it? two elements i try to steer away from but this cute girl just makes them work! very sartorial indeed.
I like the shoes!
Hmm, to me, silver IS a neutral. And these are very practical sandals for NYC---open enough for summer and closed enough for protection. Anyhoo, this is summer in NYC for me! comfy and NOT frumpy.
