She looks really great in this dress.

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (8:30 AM) :

Stunning dress and it's absolutely made for her body. Such a feminine fit. Beautiful.

Blogger Sandra Centurión said ... (8:44 AM) :

too french...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:48 AM) :

Too perfect for words. Who's her tailor?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:52 AM) :

beautiful! I wanna be her!!! There's something so romantic about her, like she's from a diferent period in history, like she's too ethereal, doesn't belong to this world.

Blogger Anhoni Patel said ... (8:56 AM) :

That dress is amazing!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:00 AM) :

BELLISSIMO

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:01 AM) :

BELLISSIMO ABITO.........

Blogger ami said ... (9:13 AM) :

Gorgeous. I am not wild about the black stockings, but it doesn't totally ruin the look, either.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:24 AM) :

Dear Sir

I just wanted you to know that your blog was featured on India's leading news channel NDTV today. They were doing a story on fashion blogs.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:25 AM) :

I kept thinking "My goodness why does this woman look familiar..." and then it came to me: She sort of resembles a young Stockard Channing, a.k.a., Rizzo from the original Grease. Anyone, anyone???.......

Anyway, on someone else that dress might look costumey, but on her it looks great.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:37 AM) :

Wonderful! Maybe my favorite young woman you have yet photographed.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:37 AM) :

That is lovely - perfect on her, love the trim.

Blogger Nerine said ... (9:46 AM) :

Beautiful.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:59 AM) :

Why so glum? The dress is fantastic, cheer up!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:02 AM) :

The tight waist makes the dress modern and a bit tough--nice moody shot. Her messy hair helps too!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:14 AM) :

Beautiful! Where would you even get the idea for that detailing at the waist?

Nice shoes, too!

May I be so daring as to say that she should be nominated for Sartorilista of the Year?

It's the pseudo-simple things like this outfit that keep bringing me back to this site!

mltt

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:24 AM) :

Yes,it is a nice dress. It´s good that she has chosen simple stylish shoes and black tights with it.This way the dress gets to be the center point in the picture. My only concern is, will the girl have the knowledge when to wear it.After all this is party dress.I think it would be disgraceful to wear it daily.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:29 AM) :

Look at her accentuated waist in this dress! Fabulously modest yet somehow it is forward at the same time. Without good shoes this outfit could be a mess in my book.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:33 AM) :

pretty women match beautiful dress

Blogger escritora said ... (10:41 AM) :

she looks lovely, dress is wonderful

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:49 AM) :

Lovely.

Blogger stacy said ... (10:52 AM) :

The dress looks that much more beautiful because of her perfectly pale skin.

Love the waist.

Blogger Michael K said ... (11:09 AM) :

I like this!
Great looking silhouette and intricate detailing!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:21 AM) :

the dress is beautiful and fits her body perfectly. however, the shoes and the hosiery don't seem to work for me. a bare leg, and perhaps a vintage round toe heel would have worked well.

Blogger Mai said ... (11:25 AM) :

i love that she looks a bit disheveled, it makes her "wear" of the dress more casual.

Blogger Jane Flanagan said ... (11:26 AM) :

Oh she's a firm favourite to date. Almost antique. The expression is perfect too.

Blogger Lilith said ... (11:35 AM) :

What an amazing dress! And how it beautifully accentuates her waist and rib cage ... ! I would choose to wear it sans the opaque hose, however, and with different shoes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:45 AM) :

great dress. terrible shoes. beautiful woman.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:49 AM) :

What a fantastic dress. I find it inspiring that she has made an all-black outfit look interesting. Oh, and I like her messed up hair.
love it all, I guess!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:58 AM) :

Seeing this made me sit up straighter. Everyone looks better with good posture.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:38 PM) :

Vintage, but so modern! that's the way to wear vintage.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:42 PM) :

love the dress and the hair!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:48 PM) :

I like it 100%.

Blogger francesc said ... (12:53 PM) :

gorgeous!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:25 PM) :

Wonderful shot. To me, her clothes very much show the mood her eyes reflect.

And such good posture.

Blogger The Spicers said ... (1:32 PM) :

What a gorgeous dress! I love the corset middle.

Blogger JO said ... (1:52 PM) :

I LOVE ALL BLACK... it is hard and romantic at the same time.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:06 PM) :

I think vintage is so classy. It certainly suits her perfectly. Her expression is lovely.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:08 PM) :

Utter perfection, everthing!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:36 PM) :

Wow, what a fantastic dress!
I don't like those shoes though, in fact, I would't wear them with this particular dress.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:33 PM) :

Lovely dress!

Congratulations for your blog!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:44 PM) :

The dress we all want. And wish we would look fabulous.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:44 PM) :

How we would like to look in every picture taken of us. Chic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:14 PM) :

She looks great but I wish she had done something differently to her hair to get a more balanced look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:31 AM) :

OH I love this.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:30 AM) :

I adore the dress, the look on her face and the messed up hair. But I agree that under this dress she should have bare legs and perhaps opened toed heels. But I must say I love the shoes - perhaps under another outfit but I must have them immediately.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:26 AM) :

loves it, loves it, loves it!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:52 AM) :

An ultra modern vintage... she looks stunning!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:17 PM) :

She is my favorite of August 07. An ethereal beauty.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:29 PM) :

Me gusta mucho el vestido y le queda perfecto

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:38 AM) :

oh my! i went to uni wit her!!!!! she always looked good!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:38 AM) :

Those shoes!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:00 PM) :

To think, this kind of look used to be the norm. Many moons ago, Simplicity, which is still so sexy, The shoes and stockings remind me, of a housekeeper, or nanny. But it's a stunning look nevertheless. and maybe another heal would completely let the outfit down. Great tailoring. Love the length of the sleeve,

Blogger JohnnyBoy said ... (1:55 PM) :

It kinda reminds me of an Edward Hopper painting! Just lovely! Great job!

Blogger bowerbird said ... (7:43 PM) :

A perfect fit! Bravo!

Blogger aiwendillie said ... (7:00 PM) :

I especially like the neckline and the middle of the dress..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:48 PM) :

you love a pretty girl in a black dress with heels; seems to be a recurring theme ;-)
