I really like this a lot. love the blue & the layered look. but sadly its still in the 100's here & I almost cried the last time i wore tights.

ps: hmm pic says purple, I really see blue!

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (9:21 AM) :

Wow - this is one stylish lady. The colours are so dramatic and again, her hair is fabulously dramatic as well.

Blogger spring flowers said ... (9:40 AM) :

This woman must love voluminous pieces. Although I admire her creativity, I'm not crazy about this outfit. I do like her previous outfit with the pants and blouse. Love that hair on her.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:49 AM) :

i love her spunk, and that blue looks great on her!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:02 AM) :

It is "International Klein Blue".

Blogger Carolina Lange said ... (10:05 AM) :

She has style! Beautiful dress!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:27 AM) :

Overbearing excessive but cute.

mltt

Blogger Jane Flanagan said ... (10:48 AM) :

All this drama and it still doesn't overwhelm her loveliness!

Blogger Anhoni Patel said ... (11:14 AM) :

ah - the woman with the pants from 1989 and fierce heels from the other week. I don't care much for this albeit well-coordinated outfit but I heart her hair. I wonder how she gets it like so...?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:24 AM) :

A real eccentric working against her natural beauty. I guess it must be tedious to be simply beautiful.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:27 AM) :

She has really put effort getting dressed up.Somehow it all works, but it doesn´t look effortless as good outfits should.

Blogger Unknown said ... (11:35 AM) :

that is my favorite shade of blue (ultraviolet?) i love it with the pattern on the shirtdress.

Blogger sophistagoth said ... (11:50 AM) :

The cardigan and tights appear to be of different colours, purple and blue respectively. I don't think they work well together, different shades would be another story. I like the dress although the elastic bottom is very unflattering.

Blogger Jennifer said ... (1:17 PM) :

same woman as before.
i love that she styles her hair big big. love it. nice use of color theme.

Sart,
It is clear that most of the people who left comments have not been to Stockholm (which many of them have equated with "Sweden"). It is extremely interesting how your pictures have created a Swedish myth/ illusion. The comments people leave are as fun to read as the pictures you took are fun to look at. All the talk about the Swedes' "genes"... hilarious!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:41 PM) :

I love her!

Blogger Asi Mod said ... (3:43 PM) :

Love the dress but not sure about the blue leggings. But she got the concept right - volume on top, skinny legs at the bottom.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:54 PM) :

(sigh)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:27 PM) :

Fabulous dress!

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (4:53 PM) :

Again she's been photographed by The Sartorialist. Who is she, Scott?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:16 PM) :

I'd be interested to see what's under the cardigan, the dress looks too interesting to be covered.

Blogger AMO said ... (5:42 PM) :

i love the vibrant blue color she is wearing with the whole simple black and white color concept. it really makes her stand out! it's awesome! :D

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:41 PM) :

she's simply gorgeous, very stylish. love that shade of blue.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:19 AM) :

I think this woman is stunning, but I have to agree with the guy that she doesn't look effortless. It looks like a lot of work. However, I'd do anything to have her shoe collection.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:05 AM) :

Aw, there she is again! So great.

Is she very tall, Sart?

Her look is so good, but I think one would have to be tall(ish).

Good for her!

why oh why do people insist on ruining a gorgeous outfit with leggings?! overly matching leggings at that! beautiful otherwise!

Blogger DeepBlueSea said ... (9:00 AM) :

As Joey Ramone sang,

'She's a sensation, she's a sensation'

Classy, gorgeous!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:45 AM) :

This woman has a great energy and beauty. Her clothes are entirely her own--they don't need to be for everyone.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:53 AM) :

I wish more people were brave enough to dress like this... including me.
I love this look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:47 PM) :

It's really pretty amazing that you consistantly find the same people twice. Is this really happenstance?

Blogger WendyB said ... (4:57 PM) :

I love that ...cobalt blue? Or is it purple? It looks blue to me.

Blogger art kids said ... (7:20 PM) :

finally, someone doing something interesting with the footless tights trend.

Blogger Liene Stevens said ... (5:03 AM) :

She looks amazing! I love it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:39 PM) :

Nicole Janota! She's a designer and her work is AMAZING.

her cardigan is purple, her tights are cobalt, her dress is tres cool!

Blogger parisienish said ... (12:11 PM) :

There is something about all of the Stockholm pictures, men and women. Their faces are incredibly fresh and delicate. This woman is so inspiring in every fashionable way that I've saved this picture in my "Inspiration" folder on my desktop (along with Tara Henthorn in Paris)
I am in love with your website.
