Comments on "On The Street..........Good Hair, Good Style Bastard, Stockholm"
Oh my God! This is so Great Gatsby.. or the Beautiful and the Damned. Amazing. Amazing.
omg i love him!
So much to hate! Good looking...stylish...nice smile...he's got nerve! (Not in a bad way...just in a way someone with less good looks...less stylish and a grimace would mean it)
I know...I am a small, small little man....
Great Shot though Scott.
his blue sportjacket sets off the colour of his skin very well. and yes. great gatsby!
linen jacket? regardless, it's wonderful.
passed a blue sport coat up a couple months ago this really makes me regreat it...looks really casual yet great
please come back from sweden.
he's yummy and swishy.
What a shot. I love the ease of his style and warmth of his smile. A complete package.
He really has a jolly look, although his smile reveals his rabbit front teeth, not that it really matters.I like his hair though and the summer color clothes.
Using the word "bastard" doesn't seem right.
Oh yes that man right there happens to be my future husband.
(A girl can dream.)
But you've got such a nice personality, Sart!

I think I need a sky-blue jacket this southern-hemisphere summer :-)
It'll look great with the navy skirt and grey-blue unlined duffel jacket I'm planning to make. So much better than predictable red.
Is this Mr 'More Great Hair" from the other day?
Anyway what a great look this guy has going. Lucky bastard.
agreed, agreed, all gatsby and faultless. but it's pretty much the smile that does, it, right?
looks like he is going to a fraternity reunion. very east coast preppy style. not my cup of tea.
Wandering down the sidewalk with a wineglass, Sart? What's the story behind the pic?
arrrhhh.... he look so f-ing good in almost makes me hurl. So casual and so so, I dont know! Damn. Some people just get it for free dont they? :)
He reminds me of a brit 2nd WW spy movie, all the guys looked like this one.
modern Gatsby at first sight indeed.
great shot! I doubt he could be as cute as this pic.
Me love. Wonderful.
zipper adjustment and a nice belt would have killed! pretty sharp though.
I want to love and take care of this man for the rest of my life. He's beautiful.
perfect.
It looks like a corduroy jacket from Polo Ralph Lauren. Anyway, very nice!
You must like this guy? He's the one in your other "good hair" shot as well, yes? I must go out ad roam the streets for him as well (during my lunch hours?) as I work at Östermalm and he seems to be out and around quite a bit ;)
Man, he's HOT!
I like the colours of his clothes.
Movie Star looks
I just love the swede's!!!
He reminds me of Jerry Lee Lewis.
Yummy!
same guy you posted on August 17th... cheers
off *fanning myself heavily*. this man is gorgeous. and i love how relaxed he looks with the fit of his pants and the blue sportscoat. i even love the fact that the hair is a little ruffled. a perfect 10
GREAT MAN IT LOOKS DANDY
I LOVE HIS STYLE
It's the matching buttons from the pants to the coat to the shirt.
But our gent needs a good rest to pull off the epitome of being abnormally stylish.
mltt
Amazing portraits over here!
Keep the good work!
Not to be cranky--well, cranky AGAIN--but the pants appear to be a bit overlarge. Otherwise: nifty.
oooh, very 'Talented mr Ripley'...
I love the colour of his jacket. And his smile. He looks like every day would be fantastically decadent fun with him.
OMG! Its my great friend Björn af Kleen a.k.a Strindberg. Isn´t he a sweetie? he used to be a gymnast dont you know...I am worried he might keel over from all the gushing comments, but he deserves it really, maiking an effort should always be rewarded.
Love Hanna M
Cotton, not linen jacket. What do you think of the no belt and shirt collar out over the jacket? Nice hair.
um, lovely outfit, yes. But doesn't anyone else see a young Swedish Vince Vaughn?
mmm Swedish Vince Vaughn.
he has so beautiful hands..
wow i love him..
beautiful hands
is it just me, or is there something very American about the looks you've posted this week? like they've plucked the very best of American style and honed it into something sublime.
Hot. Red Hot. Trouble.
He almost looks like someone right out of The Talented Mr. Ripley, only a bit updated. Beautiful style...
I wish I was gay.
Ah! You've found him again!
this looks like it has been shot in the 70's. yet he doesn't look dated
East Coast preppy by way of Sweden...perfect!
great gatsby, indeed. great personal, stylish, high end take on the "grandpa sweater" that has been popularized in many large retail chains in the past winter/fall seasons.
uh-dorable.. perfectly retro with out being ironic.
holy crap! That man is timeless.
I wish this man were my boyfriend so I could ask him to marry me.
This could easily be a photo from the 50s. Awesome color and I love the sky blue jacket and beautiful smile. And yes, the hair too.
Definitely one of your greatest shots.
These kind of pictures are more interesting than the posing ones...I kinda HATE posed pictures.
This one is going to be saved in my 'Sartorialist'-folder on my laptop.
Nice one, Scott.
great style, but great photo too. i like the look you captured on his face.
reminds me vaguely of Jude Law in The Talented Mr. Ripley.
Jude Law called, he wants to know the name of your stylist...he should be so lucky. Looking forward to stalking this guy next week...LOL
yes, very great gatsby
I LOVE his trousers. I'm not sure why, but I love them. He's looking so amazingly old-fashioned handsome I want to introduce him to my mother post haste. Who wouldn't love to have him for a son-in-law, you know? Seriously though, the jacket/trouser combo is amazing, and the trousers in particular are great. I also like how his hair goes so well with the general style.
I shall go to Sweden to find myself a husband.
Amen.
He recalls Tom Ripley, yes.
I favor the original, "Purple Noon," for the actors (esp. Alain Delon and Michele Laforet), the brilliant cinematography, and of course the style.
That film and "Bonjour Tristesse" are favorite references of mine for fashion c. 1960 or ever.
CORRECTION: his clothes remind me of Tom Ripley. He looks like a nice person, of course. Not a psychotic killer.
hot!!!
Oh I love this. A slight retro quality, and the ease that he wears this beautiful blue jacket is amazing.
hot damn he is one fine specimen
I love this. I don't know exactly why. I think it is perhaps because he looks so friendly and warm. And an outfit that could have looked a bit too stiff and preppy is softened by the worn-looking jacket and pants. Why don't any of these men in the Great White North? :)
Great looking guy with a great outfit :)
oh how I adore this image. great gatsby is right! this is so fabulous it hurts. welcome back, prep.
This guy is so vintage. He looks like someone from the 1950's, strangely reminds me of a young (though much better looking) Truman Capote.
what a gorgeous man...love how you've captured him in such a natural pose...that blue suits him so much! beautiful!
handsome and chic guy, but it's the ease and effortlessness and openness of his face that makes it a winner.
Wowza.
truely badass.
This is my style icon. I do wonder, why no belt? I need to finish with a belt. I know that The Sartorialist will often note the same people over the course of time, I want to see him when the Stockholm winters hit, what is he wearing? How could you cover that hair with a hat?
Very cool dude. He has a little bit of that young Frank Sinatra going on.
amazing hair!!!!
how can you not love his smile...
his hair!!! he's sooo beautiful!!
he looks like the guy from your previous post. (or do they just have the same style?)
jeez, your photography is getting REALLY good..
CHET BAKER LIVES! (in Sweden, that is)
elegância. Uma composição de extremo bom gosto.
Just saw him on swedish TV and he belongs to the swedish nobility.
whoa, i am breathless...this guy is AMAZING! I am officially in love!
That´s Björn Von Sydow, known swedish nobleman and journalist.
mamma mia!
No his name is Björn af Kleen
I absolutely love him, perfect
As a Scandinavian living in France, I must say, the best looking guys are back home.
I bet it's his natural hair colour. Ahh
luuuuuuuv those fingers........
this is just perfect, and the expression on his face is just the cherry on top of the perfect cake of an outfit.
