Isn't this from outside the Stockholm Fashion Week at Berns?

Blogger Marnee said ... (5:28 PM) :

And now she is ready to star for the Stockholm Community Theater production of Flash Dance.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:29 PM) :

wow. seriously breathtaking. i love her.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:30 PM) :

what a cutie! and i loove the hair! wantst it

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:31 PM) :

Nicole janota, a great Beckmans (art) student! Look at her things, really nice.

Her style is great!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:31 PM) :

is everyone in stockholm amazing? or just the majority?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:42 PM) :

Very nice, but between the hair and the shirt and the trousers and the bag I'd like to see something more structured and linear somewhere. As it is those shoes appear to be just kind of random and unrelated to what's going on.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:47 PM) :

god this lady is beautiful!!

Blogger Unknown said ... (5:55 PM) :

ADORE the shoes.
so ideal.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:05 PM) :

femme #2 featured in the 9:08 post WISHES she looked this good in high-waisted pants.

I love the emphasis on replicated line and volume. A very cohesive look!

Blogger Carolina Lange said ... (6:11 PM) :

Stylish!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:12 PM) :

Ah we love stockholm street, so sweet! Mozarella! We fashion week Olé!

Blogger The Spicers said ... (6:14 PM) :

Although she's obviously pretty, I think the outfit would have worked better with volume on either the bottom or the top, but not both. The puff sleeves and the baggy pants are just too much. Love the lucite peep-toes though!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:18 PM) :

the best I've seen lately.
Note to self: Fly to Stockholm ASAP.

Blogger Jak said ... (6:20 PM) :

Sat I have to give it up to you for finding this fantastic looking lady,i am in love with the way she has played with the propotions making sure that the outfit doesn't drown her, she is so chic

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:25 PM) :

love the hair! hot pants...and the shoes are totally amazing. fantastic! effortless euro chic

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:30 PM) :

Hot!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:54 PM) :

she's beautiful, it's barely balanced, but it works so well.

Blogger handmade said ... (7:09 PM) :

quite promethean ..! her shoes add an 'exclamation point' to her outfit ! beijos

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:14 PM) :

Now this is too much.A cute girl wearing funny pants-not to mention the bag.I would toss away the shoes too.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:23 PM) :

Uh-oh, another baggy-kneed, gathered pant. I was not aware of this trend until its feature on this site. It's definintely a retreat from the norm, but kinda captivating. So is this girl. Her hair is fab, very editorial, and the color story is inspiring. I said in highschool that if I were a designer, I would appal and amaze people with lots of navy/black brown/black, and I'm surprised it took this long to happen, although current fashion conditions are perfect for this kind of convention-breaking. An alluring combo of sweet, smart, and saucy (hello lucite shoes!)

Blogger matt williams said ... (7:25 PM) :

Love the pants and her hust rolled out of bed hair. I think the color of her pants is a good match for the silver shoes. The two colors also intensify(sp) each other.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:34 PM) :

i love this--the blouse, the shoes, her smile

Blogger Susan B said ... (8:18 PM) :

Not everyone could pull this off. She does, and marvelously!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:32 PM) :

pretty face! love how the hair is situated to show off her perfect oval face.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:48 PM) :

where do i find pants like these in nyc? i've been looking...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:14 PM) :

sart,
i really wish you would make a comment, so i can try to appreciate what you see when you posted this photo and others, because your most recent stockholm visit is going over my head.
perhaps you are looking at the faces and not the clothes, because i notice how your other readers are commenting on how good looking they are. i am focusing on their clothes and style. there are many good looking people. but very few well dressed people with style.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:21 PM) :

Cute! Especially love the hair and shirt.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:39 PM) :

YES! loving the balloonish harem pants, the high waist fit, the shoes, the bag, and the hair--because it all goes together so well. she looks amazing.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:36 PM) :

I LOVE this photo. The whole 'voluminous' look is fabulous, and I especially like the shorter pants (casually rolled up, no less), with those shoes. I myself used to wear such combination, and I like to see someone similar-minded.

The whole Stockholm series is great.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:47 PM) :

I'm having trouble processing this one. All the poufs - the blouse, the pants, the purse, the hair! And I've never been a fan of lucite heels.
Hopefully someone will have something positive and incisive to say about this to educate me.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:12 PM) :

She's very cute, and very poufy everywhere, including her purse and her hair. I'm getting a weird 80s feeling somehow.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:14 AM) :

this is love!

Blogger Blaise said ... (1:22 AM) :

This out fir is very hard to pull off, but she does it well.. Kudos to her.. ;)

Blogger jackie said ... (1:51 AM) :

wow, i love this outfit!

Blogger Laurence John said ... (2:05 AM) :

all the volume is making her look like a 1980s wind-sock.

Blogger Secret Agent said ... (3:42 AM) :

Whoa, look at those awesome MC HAMMER pants! She definitely rocks them!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:04 AM) :

She's a modern-day Gibson Girl!

The silhouette of hair, blouse, pants, bag. All accented by the shoes.

It shouldn't work. Yet, it does. Effortlessly.

Blogger Bel said ... (5:37 AM) :

She is a classic beauty. I personally don't opt for that pant style, but she pulls it off well. And nothing beats a crisp white shirt against olive skin. Nothing.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:55 AM) :

I just simply love the way you succeed to catch Stockholm with all its best in every picture; the light, the people, the surroundings. And no, not everyone in Stockholm are this adoreable, but the ones that are are good-looking enough for the rest of us!

Blogger Ellie Lee said ... (6:15 AM) :

i love her outfit!!! but her hair's.. kinda.. weird at the crown eh?

Blogger FeiraChic said ... (7:14 AM) :

I love the hair and the sandals!

Blogger Damselfly said ... (7:37 AM) :

Oh no...not a "frech rolled" pant leg... I know the 80's are back in full swing but this is one I thought we were going to avoid re-hashing. Some trends should just stay dead!

Other than the pant ove her...shoes, bag, hair and all!

Blogger Chris said ... (8:25 AM) :

fab, you're in sthlm!

Blogger Rafe Totengco said ... (8:36 AM) :

harem baggy pants, wow! is this the new volume trousers are headed to? takes a special physique and confidence to pull this one off and of course, a sense of humor.

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (8:51 AM) :

Love it! The proportions work so well - she's fantastic!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:17 AM) :

I can't figure Stockholm out. Either they are so far forward that they've gone straight into the late 80's for their fashion sense or else they are still trapped there. I mean, I dressed just like this in High School (and received the 'best dressed' award, mind you) so please don't tell me this is coming back.

*sigh*

Please.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:23 AM) :

Hammer Time

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:51 AM) :

She's beautiful but she's ruining it with the balloon effect. Where is the girl in those clothes? Marnee hit it perfectly.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:52 AM) :

Oh, anything but those shoes. All that volume and then her body just tapers off to little points??

I'd put some black high tops with that outfit. Or anything substantial.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:01 AM) :

One of the best outfits I've seen so far. She looks GR8!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:01 AM) :

This would never work on me but she carries it off!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:07 AM) :

i love this look
though i would like her hair tied up and her shoes delicate white gold gladiators

Blogger amy darlene said ... (11:41 AM) :

the fluffy pants and shirt looks more like a clown or a child playing dress up then something for a beautiful young woman to wear.
it just isn't pretty to me. it just looks silly.

Blogger Asi Mod said ... (11:44 AM) :

Personally, I don't love the blouse and the pants together. But separately, I think they would be great paired with something more fitted or tighter.

Blogger dnqcnn said ... (12:07 PM) :

she rocks those pants!!
i love it so much

Blogger spring flowers said ... (12:12 PM) :

she makes me smile. :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:35 PM) :

Wore this exact look in the 80s. It's still adorable, and what a relief to see young women in real clothes again!

Blogger Amanda said ... (4:21 PM) :

I wish those trousers were mine!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:55 PM) :

WOW - I'm not liking this ultra poufy look probably because I've already suffered thru the 80s.

Blogger V said ... (6:36 PM) :

Her hair is stunning. Is the heel on her shoe clear? She could be floating on air...

Blogger Isis said ... (8:35 PM) :

Everything is just pretty about this.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:08 AM) :

Greatest hair ever. She's adorable.

Blogger Bexia said ... (6:06 PM) :

So hard to get away with this harem / odalisque look but she does, and does it so well.

Inspiration goes so much deeper than the 80s, a mere bleep in time.

I love people striking out for themselves away from tight fitted clothing. Not that there's anything wrong with close fitting but this is so much sexier and intriguing than molded silhouettes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:51 AM) :

oh, the pouf of her hair, her cheeks, her blouse, her pants... it's angelic!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:41 PM) :

i love how she exaggerated by wearing oversized clothes and yet, she still manages to look great.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:28 PM) :

She looks like she's just walked out from a photo shoot! Pretty amazing!

I love the way how she manages to pull off a poofy hairstyle, a poofy blouse, and poofy trousers. The usually say choose only one poofy item at a time, but she clearly dispells that idea! As someone else said, somehow it all balances out.

Blogger Anastasia said ... (4:28 AM) :

this looks more like a NY look than stockholm!
love the poetic hair...she reminds me of Jennifer Beal (is that her name?) in Flashdance...dont know why ...maybe its the very strong 80's look!
she pulls it off though...and she's gorgeous too!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:06 PM) :

HAHA
what a completely surprisingly lovely outfit!
i love it
and she has this natural beauty that makes you smile
:)

Blogger lala said ... (6:17 AM) :

the heels say it all you can be wacky on top but with those shoes , she looks very sexy, off course her beauty also takes care of that ! the mix of sharp heel and full rounded volumes (sleave/pants/bag) is great !

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:10 PM) :

God, her hair is so amazing. I'm jealous! And even though there's a lot of volume in her clothes, it's cinched in at her waist and ankles, so she isn't lost in there. She is so beautiful with her own cool style.

Blogger Unknown said ... (7:22 AM) :

perfect combination-the sandals and the trousers

Blogger hauschinka said ... (12:40 PM) :

adore the heels but the trousers, no matter how unusual, are heinous

Blogger nidyawiguno said ... (6:15 AM) :

great style. but i think the 'balloon' sleeve in her blouse make her outfit "too much". isnt it? overall, she's great!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:45 PM) :

she looks just like Princess Jasmine in Aladdin.....so adorable!
