The girl is pretty as well as outfit. It has the effect of a Estee Lauder ad.

I really love this look. I see an innocent student-chic attitude, not too sweet or overtly sexy, a hint of the homespun in the dress fabric pattern, worn in a way that is definitely feminine. Maybe it's not the intention but I picture her in a library, in a sunbeam. Her wispy blond hair is perfect in the ethereal image she makes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:15 AM) :

Lovely.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:36 AM) :

so pretty, so cute, lovely!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:47 AM) :

sexy, i think this is the first time i have really fallen for a picture. i love her style, and she has that gorgeous relaxed feel like scandinavians often have. belle fille!

Blogger stacy said ... (9:55 AM) :

Her hair is stunning, with the glow of the sun peeking through she looks a wee bit angelic. I love the proportions, the tights and the shoes and all the different colours. I would like to change the purse though.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:14 AM) :

I love the effortlessness of this look. Very inspiring!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:17 AM) :

Actually she is cute and pretty and has a personal style.I wouldn´t change the bag, but the shoes in the same color of the bag would make the outfit perfect.

Blogger materfamilias said ... (10:25 AM) :

for me, this is a lesson in editing. The purse and the shoes are both (slightly) risky choices (less so for the shoes) with the outfit and her minimalist approach--no jewelry, scarf, etc.-- and confident carriage insist on their rightness.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:28 AM) :

Somehow she has managed to look intelligent and fashionable with this effortless look!

Brava!

Blogger pumpkin said ... (10:43 AM) :

add yet another to my list of effortless style heroes. I love the intellectual and non-overt sexiness of these swedish looks.

Blogger Elena Martinez said ... (11:21 AM) :

I think that the dark tights are at odds with the sandals.

Blogger nolifebeforecoffee said ... (11:47 AM) :

she look's like a double of gwyneth (but more stylish)!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:48 AM) :

Love the shoes, particularly the color of them, with the rest of the outfit. Black shoes just wouldn't have worked as well.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:49 AM) :

I love the shoes, they are what makes her look so effortless. Not too matchy but still well dressed.

Blogger JJ said ... (11:58 AM) :

looking good!!

Blogger Carolina Lange said ... (12:16 PM) :

She is very beautiful, I like the way she uses her hair.
Her outfit is great! Her coat is fabulous!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:23 PM) :

I love the shape and color of the jacket. It's unexected yet seems right.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:24 PM) :

May I just say, and I'm no expert, but may I just say she looks perfect.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:50 PM) :

This is a great look in so many ways-- doable for pretty much any body type and any age, feminine but not too girly, fashionable but not overdone.
It also makes the fact that summer is ending seem a little less terrible!

Blogger Oana Perca said ... (2:10 PM) :

Very cool look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:19 PM) :

Absolutely stunning. This is a great transition look between summer and fall. My favorite bit of the outfit--the little yellow apples (?) scattered among the white ones on her print dress.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:28 PM) :

The sleeves and collar on the jacket are just superb.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:33 PM) :

I like her jacket (and shoes). Can someone please id her jacket? Many thanks ^..^

Blogger Kara said ... (3:49 PM) :

This outfit is one that strikes me instantly as fashionable, realistic, and one I could emulate. And I'd want to!
She's gorgeous and looks very real. Thanks for the inspiration.

Blogger JO said ... (4:21 PM) :

BEAUTIFUL! Love the splash of color.

Blogger Haircuts... said ... (4:37 PM) :

All of the hair on the crown is combed forward to a massive wide slimline fringe, with a low parting. The hairstyle suit´s her square face well, but, it feels to much, almost like a beret, if, she did´t have this vintage jacket, with a broad cape with puff sleeve, which makes the hairstyle suitable to the style.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:56 PM) :

trendy pretty blonde. oh, and it's 57 degrees in New York. Not such a bad place to be in August. Unless you have jury duty.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:57 PM) :

My God these Swedes are gorgeous.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:50 PM) :

Her shoes are to die for. And I love it when the sleeve underneath is longer than the one on top.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:28 AM) :

Whyred-girl!

Blogger Unknown said ... (1:19 PM) :

What terrific proportions. It definitely looks like fall is coming to Sweden sooner than to the U.S.

Blogger Laurie said ... (10:14 PM) :

Very cute, love the jacket. Shoes are a nice change from all the black in the outfit.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:16 PM) :

Very cute, great shoes, really pop from the black tights. The jacket is very fun.

Blogger faith said ... (10:22 PM) :

I love this one! The dress is great!

Blogger Natalie Hughes said ... (6:18 AM) :

I'm clearly in the minority here but I'd say that overall, the look is a little passé. It looks nice, but it's nothing new.

Blogger Asi Mod said ... (3:41 PM) :

She paired the puffy bell-sleeved jacket perfectly here, with mile-high legs and gorgeous heels.

This is the way to do volume without looking like a cow.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:38 PM) :

Swedes are one of the most beautiful (if not THE most beautiful) people but this photo I'm sorry just doesn't show that...

Anonymous Luciana said ... (5:51 AM) :

me encanta la combinacion de las medias tupidas con las sandalias marrones.
