Hey...That's Me
On Sunday I bought a copy of DNR to see how they reviewed the mens collections (I did this on Sunday because I am a loser and consider this beach reading)
I was flipping through the "Milan Backstage" section and saw this picture of the Dries show and realized...hey...that's me....

Holy!
I don't know which concept - or photo - I like better.
The artist capturing art or the artist capturing the artist capturing art!
It's too much!!!
mltt
Tremendous photo by you, and of you.
Thanks for posting.
haha thats great!
Wow, that must have tripped you out. Fantastic!
Great photos, both of them! If I were you, I'd have been showing it to random people on the beach.
How cool!
supermegainteresting how the pictures are different but in the same day/time/place...how strange life is..
hah,
awesome.
The life you live is so amazing. Thanks for sharing it with us.
wow, interesting magazine.
thanks!
In the top photo he has no left arm! Where did it go? Fashion shows are dangerous place.
Scott:
That's such a crazy (and cool) contrast of the same lighting/shot/moment.
Does your life ever get less surreal? What's it like to come across something like that, that's so personal to you but captured by someone else? I cannot begin to imagine.
What an interesting concept for a photo show...the photographer as the subject matter.
I think photographers and cameramen are the hidden side of the entertainment world. They go everywhere the "stars" do because it is only through them that "stars" are born.
Congratulations!
So handsome ;)
hahahaha that's so funny!
once that happened to me, in a brazilian teen magazine. i really like it!
That is way too cool!
it's like metafiction! :D
Amazing (I keep using this word to describe your stuff) story, and even amazing photos to match it! I especially love the black and white(Dries Van Noten) picture..
Your the coolest. never a loser. You inspire us all.

The infinite cat project with fashion photographers...
(but really, GREAT shot of you)
great pic!
Two amazing photos and so much fun!
I Love Dries Van Notten summer loafers. Surprisingly well made full grain leather with nice sole treatment.
The photo of Dries came out perfectly! Your kid must be so proud of dad!
both are great. the one of you is especially dramatic.
that's way cool.
Adding here that a photo like this is difficult to capture because of the high contrast of the bright light and being able to capture the shaded Dries. Bravo! Love this blog!!!!
that's pretty cool, and the fact that you found your own picture, either says that you're really lucky, or that you look too many mags, haha.
loved your blog!
Absolutely awesome!
the first photo took my breath away
