hey ive got shoes like that!
so i like it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:58 AM) :

I want short hair! Egads, but mine is curly. Can you find a girl with curly-short-hair? That would inspire me.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:28 AM) :

She reminds me of Charlotte Gainsburg! That certain mixture of sophistication (i.e. her clothing) and downtoearthness (i.e. her posture and her unpretentious hair, makeup etc.) just hits it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:49 AM) :

I love this unconscious elegance and the flat sandals. as always, xoxo, lady

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:05 AM) :

This girl is hot. She looks like she's texting her boyfriend back home saying, "why am I stuck with these fucken fashion monsters while you're swimming dreamy lengths in the sun in tight trunks..."

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:14 AM) :

This photo requires some insight from you Sart. I don't see anything to it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:18 AM) :

She fits to the surroundings. Can´t comment on the outfit, cause she is sitting.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:24 AM) :

Like her haircut!

Blogger lucia martinez said ... (10:43 AM) :

this is fab, fab androgyny. that boy's school suit with the longish hair, clean face, and girl's shoes...really wonderful. I certainly hope it's not a boyfriend she's texting, 10:05, or my heart will be a little broken.

I wish I met more girls like her.

Blogger Meredith said ... (11:16 AM) :

Adore those shoes. daniqueconijn, where'd you find 'em? I've been looking for just the right pair of strappy bronze metallic flats for over a month.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:05 PM) :

shorts
sandals
lightweight fabrics rolled at the sleeve
o how i long for summer!!!!!
you can just imagine how refreshed she must feel sitting in under the shade of the cool stone building....

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:21 PM) :

I really love this photograph and I don't even know what I love about it. Perhaps it could be the background or the girl's short hair or maybe even those amazing shoes.

Blogger Il Trifolau said ... (1:45 PM) :

I think the photograph works because the main form is that of a cream colored lightning bolt. Whether your eye starts at the shoes or the face, you must follow the form and you are forced to see every detail.

I think this is a good example of how clothes can frame the body.

Blogger londondog said ... (1:50 PM) :

Yep - 80s are back with vengeance. The volume, the shoulders, the rolled up sleeves - love it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:21 PM) :

very relaxed and comfortable, but at the same time sophisticated and a whiff of elegance.
It looks good, but its not really the style I`d prefer.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:48 PM) :

No way - the shoes totally don't go with the rest of the look. Good business attire with sloppy sandals? No thanks!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:50 AM) :

im not going to lie. at first i was disapointed by this one. but shes come around. her pose, i think, in contrast with the stone wall. she looks fragile beside it and then shes wearing that strong blazer.. it just keeps on contradicting itself and its fabulous.

scott, YOU are fabulous. i just thought you should know. i have a deep apreciation for what you do.

you make my day.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:53 PM) :

What brand are her shoes? They're so my type!

Blogger ele há dias felizes said ... (7:49 PM) :

i also have those miu miu sandals!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:10 PM) :

the more i look at this photo, the more all those angles pop out at me. there are a LOT of angles in play here, softened only by the silhouette of her hair and legs.

and as an interlude, a short lesson in how to sit in short shorts or a short skirt and keep all the secrets secret. lovely picture.

Blogger Alan Auctor said ... (9:43 PM) :

this is beyond perfect. i want to marry this girl, while wearing a shorts suit.

these are the people that keep me going.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:08 AM) :

Sart, I love this photo! What great style she has!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:37 PM) :

Thank you Miteka for leaving your comment, now I can start looking for those cute sandals! And thanks too Sart for taking the photo, I visit your site everyday!

I absolutely love this girl. She looks like Joseph Gordon-Levitt. All the previous comments about beautiful androgyny are spot-on.
