Comments on "At Ann Demeulemeester...Dramatic Hair"
Hmm,
"lack of pretentiousness?"
Is that what we're calling it now? Whatever; I gotta give love to the curly haired girls 'n boys.
So maligned and self-oppressed are we over our hair that it's actually a touch refreshing to see her out and about like this.
Flat iron, be gone.
mltt
Aaaah divine! It's so Wings Of The Dove...And frizzy curly hair is wonderful, especially w/ such a beautiful smile. This picture really works for me.
I get the same "lack of pretentiousness" vibe.
We we dress for ourselves...pretense, be gone! And this young lady, my friends, appears to be dressing for herself.
And, I love the red bag...I'm so over the huge shoulder bags. What are you all carrying around?
i try to get rid of my frizzy hair and then she arrives and makes this hairstyle so pretty it seems like art! wow!
This picture makes me happy. That is all. :)
True beauty is what came to you naturally...So much more so than everyone running around straight-ironing their hair to look like everyone else.
Bring back Gibson's girls!
Absolutely adore this...she reminds me of Solveig Donmartin. The hair is wild but gentle. How perfect that you saw her at this show, as she captures the poetic, romantic dimension of Ann Demeulemeester's work beautifully.
Many thanks for the lovely photo.
Wheeeee!!!! she's a breath of fresh air.
How does she do it? That hair and actually pull it off?? Amazing..
Actually her hair kind of reminds of the book The Little Prince.. see the resemblance??
Love the smile and her jeans.
i love crazy hair...i have crazy hair...now i need a woman with crazy short hair...to inspire me to cut it off!
a breath of fresh air in her crazy hair!!!!
come on my new french blog!!
if i had hair like this, i'd do the same. it reminds me of "anne of green gables", or something from that era. combined with her modern, stylish clothing, it's very chic.
i have been reading your blog for a long time. you are a person having such a delicate mind and eyes. really appreciate it.
and i agree you saying about "a lack of pretentiousness". i think its all about personality. one can be fashionable, but she can be natural no matter what she wears. and yes here you 've got one.
Ah! She looks so..French! Beautiful woman. Effortless style.
