Love her look. Simple beautiful!

Blogger Carolina Lange said ... (10:18 AM) :

Great mix! Love her look! the shoes are so cute!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:29 AM) :

She is actually quite cute. The dress should be a bit longer, since knees aren´t her best part.I still don´t understand why people wear ballerinas on paved streets. Her choice of the silver bag and the silver shoes didn´t come as a surprise.

Blogger londondog said ... (10:42 AM) :

Lovely, simple look. I even like the coordinated silver bag&shoes combo. Very light and fresh.

P.S. Is it just me or does she look a bit like Kylie Minogue in her shades? Just good several inches taller than the pint sized pop princess.

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (11:01 AM) :

Oh yeah, what a perfect picture.

It's not about the brand of the cloths. It's about the person who's wearing the cloths.
People who are wearing cloths because of the name / brand....are foolish!

I would ask her out on a date.

Blogger LE BLOG said ... (11:03 AM) :

Yeah, she looked like Kylie to me too. But a lot more natural and simple. Georgeous.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:13 AM) :

I thought of Kylie too!

The combo of grey with yellow is really growing on me. It usually feels heavy to me, more appropriate for cooler temps, but this look is light and summery... i may have to start wearing yellow...

Blogger will anderson said ... (11:18 AM) :

yeah, that skirt is a little bold for her age. she's amazing. beautiful, and well put together.
but a little longer skirt would be better.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:28 AM) :

Wow! Picture perferct!

Blogger Barbara said ... (11:35 AM) :

ADORABLE!! I often mix my designer clothes with H&M. They have some cute, seasonal, trendy pieces that can add a certain touch to the outfit.
She pulled it really well!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:46 AM) :

I love her look, the dress is a little bit short but it's really nice.

Blogger Jane Flanagan said ... (12:08 PM) :

I love her. She's perfectly hip while still looking womanly (rather than girly - am I the only one sick of that uber-girly look?). It must be those amazing curves. And her smile is very alluring.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:29 PM) :

i've noticed some lovely gray/yellow combinations on this blog in the last few months. i personally would not have thought to do such a thing, but it looks great. i'm going to try and find some gray and yellow in my closet now!

Blogger Claris said ... (12:41 PM) :

The Greek and Roman goddesses have landed in NYC!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:08 PM) :

wow. i love absolutely everything about this look. beautiful.

Blogger The Spicers said ... (1:13 PM) :

Great hi-lo mix! Lanvin flats are the best. She's beautiful, but I think the dress would flatter more if the belt weren't worn quite so high.

Blogger Big Eyes Strange Names said ... (1:41 PM) :

that's awesome. she's adorable.

Blogger Lura said ... (1:58 PM) :

she looks very sienna miller
actually.
but still nicely put together.

Blogger Jennifer said ... (2:47 PM) :

londondog - i totally thought it was kylie for a second.
hate to be practical here, but since she is a person irl and not a model, i wonder... does she stand up all day? i would not be comfortable sitting in that dress, as it would not be the dress you sit on, it would be your bare skin and underwear. taxis, subway, outdoor cafe chairs... not appealing in nyc.

Blogger chalkboards said ... (3:37 PM) :

Great shot Sar.

Blogger Just an Observation said ... (4:31 PM) :

VERY VERY CLEVER...&..I like it!!

My kind of approach to making a current look decently contrived.

THX SAR!

Blogger missx said ... (4:42 PM) :

The huge bag and Lanvin flats lead me to think that she's going shopping.

Blogger glamour girly said ... (5:08 PM) :

Love it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:42 PM) :

Love the high and low mix - now that's what personal style is all about! Would love to chat more, but I'm off to H&M to find that dress!

Blogger matt williams said ... (5:45 PM) :

I love mixing HI and Low. She does it quite well.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:51 PM) :

Cute, but honestly, if you can afford Bottega Veneta and Lanvin, why would you shop at H&M? Other than innovative designs, better labels offer quality that reflects the price.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:38 PM) :

She looks cute, but that dress is SOOO short! I guess she probably doesn't take the subway.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:40 PM) :

so basically don't be caught dead in an inexpensive dress unless you have spent a fortune on accessories? In my opinion, those little flats don't really look that much more stylish than less expensive ones. being by lanvin doesn't make them more stylish

Blogger Lady Apple said ... (7:48 PM) :

that is super cute!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:08 PM) :

To me she looks like walking silver bullet, she needed more contrast and less matching, nice sunglasses, overall..wonderful pieces but not all together.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:47 PM) :

A dress doesn't have to be expensive to look good. Plenty of expensive, designer dresses are hideous.

I resent the comment that an H&M dress needs to be 'dressed up' with Lanvin and Bottega Veneta in order to be wearable.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:48 PM) :

I think that this the perfect outfit for summer.

and i love the silver flats with the silver bag. many times the shoes and bag combo is not flattering, but in this case it certainly is.

Blogger Unknown said ... (8:51 PM) :

I like her outfit, but why does she have two purses?

Blogger Julia Sanz said ... (9:28 PM) :

its like...her attitude...shes quite stylish, some people dont need much to look great, or make anything on themselves look great.

ps-I read your blog looong time ago and never before dared writting to you. Send you a kiss.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:39 PM) :

She and her look are cute, but the dress is just a bit too short to wear on a city street. Lengthen the hem a few inches, and it would be perfect.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:21 PM) :

Positively angelic! Dressing should not always be practical...if I had her figure, I'd wear that length too...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:56 PM) :

it's kylie! ;)

she looks beautiful. i'm in love with grey/silver lately...

Blogger Garbed said ... (12:21 AM) :

I must agree with iheartfashion about the belt placement. Lower would be much more flattering, or perhaps a narrower or contrasting belt. Belts are SO IMPORTANT in creating (or eliminating) any kind of line. They're probably my obsessive version of your "scarf envy", Sart.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:26 AM) :

I think you may have forgotten one:
- using belt or sewing machine, raise hem of dress 3 inches

Blogger Claire Amos said ... (1:20 AM) :

Very cute..she radiates summer. I'm all for dressing up reasonable dress..but hardly bargainista advice! I want cheap dress and cheap accessories...still looking chic of course.

Blogger Asi Mod said ... (1:26 AM) :

Personally, I think the most striking feature on this girl is the yellow handbag. Everything she has on is silvery so that yellow bag really pops on the photo.

Also she looks like Tanya Roberts in the early 80s (during her James Bond days).

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:59 AM) :

I kinda wish the big silver bag was out of the picture, so that the yellow bag would pop out more. <3 cute stuff as always... thanks

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:56 AM) :

Her dress is short, but it doesn't look tacky. It must be that waist.

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (8:22 AM) :

The metallic theme looks so good on her! She looks great!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:54 AM) :

Nice! I have the same dress. It's an A-line dress and I always wear it with leggins. Boring me. I should try now to wear it with a belt like her.
God inspiring blogg!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:36 PM) :

I love the 'ton sur ton' she maded. Fantastic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:28 PM) :

I didn't even know what H & M was until I started viewing this website. Nor do we really have access to designer clothes where I live. If you want upscale, head to Abercrombie and Fitch or The Gap.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:26 PM) :

very cute. tres chic!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:07 PM) :

Love this look. Anonymous i resent that comment about her knees! This is something strange i have only recently realised i 'should' be worrying about and i think its silly. This girl has great legs- good on her for showing them off!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:16 AM) :

effortless chic, really cute and sexy
