Comments on "Long & Lovely, Pitti Uomo"
this look is very popular this summer, she suits it and looks good.
keep giving us summer inspiration sart! ;D
That is a very beautiful dress!
She's great and I am so feeling the maxi dress! I have been wearing one this summer as well.
The glasses just make it all the more interesting.
this look doesn't do much for me--the calico printed dress, the not-so-cute hair, the "Chips" frames...
Of course, we have no idea what her legs look like under the dress...but I just love the look of legs in the summer. Trust me, if you've got them...flaunt them while you can, ladies!
Doesn't everything look better with mirrored aviators?
She carries that dress perfectly. Love it!
Very sweet!
I think I would have chosen a different set of sunglasses to complete the look, I've just never been sure about the reflective aviators. Apart from that she looks cool and super comfortable, without compromising an inch of style.
One of the best looks of the summer - the maxi. After seeing the woman in pink whom you shot earlier in a maxi, I bought a long sundress in light blue for an event in LA. WOW! Instant chic.
Her aviators add sleekness.
These long summer dresses are so difficult to pull off.
This is really nice. The fabric of the dress seems comfortable to wear. The pattern and style is quite beautiful. The woman is pretty and she has succeeded to accessorize the whole outfit in a sensible way.Good.
the new york times style section ran an article about "revisiting the hippie aesthetic" and how it is being modernized. this look becomes modern, i think, from the sunglasses and watch (bracelet?) on her left wrist. nice mix!
She is gorgeous!! And I love the dress. It reminds me of the maxi dress from the 1970s.
I absolutely love maxi dresses. They're infinitely more wearable and liberating....and you don't have to worry about perverts staring up your mini (trust me, it's a big problem on the tube).
She's economical too! That dress is from Primark- about £15. :)
Is that one of those GPS watches?
it's that primark dress!
This woman really suits the mazi dress and looks fab in it. In the UK there is a shop called Primark selling an identical (or perhaps this actual) dress. For £14. which really goes to show how style is not about how much money you spend but how you convey your personality through an outfit.
that dress is pure pretty.
i couldn't carry it off, because i have hips, but on her, it's lovely.
makes me want to try along dress for summer...
Too much black. Would have prefered a fresher colour or to see it in the evening. Pitti is one hot gathering. Aviators? Can't really see that as an imaginative touch, but it works.
Talking about RB Aviators... What are your favorite models? I prefer the gun-metal colored frame with dark lenses... I am not such a big fan of the standard gold frames.
This dress is lovely and looks amazing on her.
And those reflexive aviators look well with that dress too.
Many people have noticed it's the Primark dress. After being featured in one of UK Vogue' supplements it seems that everyone who's anyone is wearing them.
I'm short so maxi dresses = death.
Cute picture though.
i actually own this fabulous dress and it is the perfect summer piece. the fact that it is from primark and has made it to this blog makes it even better.
