Effortless, Milan

She looks cute and comfortable.

I like the pop of color in the shoes.

I think that her hair is a bit severe combined with the lines of the bag and dress. I'd love to see her with a softer do.

Nice easy summer look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:01 AM) :

its a dress from h&m
my girlfriend has the same;)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:53 AM) :

I love her dress.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:02 AM) :

that is an awesome dress. very modern. i love it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:53 AM) :

If the bag were the same shade of black as the dress, this could be ok despite the fact that the bag is too huge for this little lady.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:38 AM) :

Swoon! I want that dress!

Blogger Jen (MahaloFashion) said ... (7:41 AM) :

i love the whole outfit, wish the hair wasn't so severe though.

Blogger Mysterious Creature said ... (7:44 AM) :

I like the splash of color added to her black on black, but have to say that I almost wish her bag was a bit smaller and didn't repeat the shape of the dress. The gisl is simply gorgeous.

Blogger The Spicers said ... (8:17 AM) :

Love that neckline and slight bubble hem! She wears it really well.

Blogger lucia martinez said ... (8:37 AM) :

thank you. you just reminded me to keep it simple today.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:52 AM) :

Effortlessly chic indeed ... I love the combination of a black dress + black bag with red shoes. Also, I think she looks a bit like Bjork -- which adds to her charm.

Blogger whyioughtta said ... (8:57 AM) :

When you have luminous skin like that, this is exactly how to dress it...simple, clean, understated...drawing attention to that beautiful skin.

Blogger Carolina Lange said ... (9:07 AM) :

She looks great! Beautiful dress, cute sandals, lovely hair!

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (9:47 AM) :

What a dress! The neckline is unusual and beautifully simple. She's lovely.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:49 AM) :

that woman would make a great sun dial...about mid morning!?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:33 AM) :

Simply not feeling this "bubble" thing but admit to have given it a chance earlier this summer.

With the cut of the dress' upper portion, it would have been nice to make this more sporty by wearing a bag or small backpack with the same/similar asymmetry in its shoulder strap.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:58 AM) :

Her face is perfect!

Blogger ENID P. said ... (11:05 AM) :

I have this dress.. Awesome..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:12 AM) :

Really effortless. Such is style

Blogger benson said ... (11:12 AM) :

Just add a smile and you would have perfection...lovely!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:12 AM) :

Amazing!,I love it,some of the photos have so many different combos going on that it's beyond me but this I get, simple, elagant but still it has alot of spunk.
KK. I big fan

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:05 PM) :

love it, so sleek. anyone know where this dress is from?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:43 PM) :

Though I love the red shoes and the full skirt-part of the dress, the upper part looks strangely 'bare'. Not in a sense of naked- or even emptiness, but... Can't explain, maybe it would feel different if she wore her hair open?

Blogger G said ... (1:30 PM) :

Umh, you got that right. Cool, calm and collected. Would be perfect for NYC today...

Blogger Marnee said ... (2:06 PM) :

I wore nearly the same thing yesterday. I got it at Target.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:21 PM) :

doesn't she look a little like bjork?
i think she is gorgeous and her dress is divine.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:47 PM) :

I think she looks great, and I love the dress. Yeah, maybe the bag isn't perfect, but you know, that's life -- we don't always have the perfect bag for every outfit. In a way, it makes me like this picture even more and even contributes to the effortless-ness of this look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:48 PM) :

Not really effortless. The lines of her face, her colours are reflected by the dress, the bag, the shoes. Great, breathtaking, perfect.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:08 PM) :

i think her shoes are where it's at.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:38 PM) :

Love the dress on her, you have to be that skinny/flat chested to wear a dress like that though, otherwise you'll just end up looking like a balloon. Believe me.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:14 PM) :

i'm with rina. she is really cute, but i think she would look even cuter with something more suitable tailored for her figure around her shoulders.

Blogger Kid said ... (7:38 PM) :

She looks badass! I am so glad there are no straps or layers peeking out and complicating this look.

Blogger Asi Mod said ... (8:00 PM) :

One word: GORGEOUS!

She has a nice tan and a beautiful shoulder to show off.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:55 PM) :

I love the dress and hair. Very cool and neat. The bag is worrisome however. I expect to see a little dog peeking out.

Blogger simplyolive said ... (11:32 PM) :

she's looks very cool and casual for the hot weather.
but, the bag belongs in storage for the winter months...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:50 PM) :

Ah, I'm so glad Ellie said it... the bottom 2/3 of me is dying to get into something like this, but the top 1/3 turns it into a pup-tent.

Blogger dnqcnn said ... (12:26 AM) :

now that's a great outfit!
i really like her look,,

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:50 AM) :

Maybe I've been in Japan too long, but I'm starting to realize that you can look feminine (or in this case, badass) and put together without always showing off your waistline. Even when you have a perfect figure like this lady. Great find.

Blogger madeline said ... (10:04 AM) :

I love to think about the difference between European women and American women when it comes to beauty and style and this is a great study.

American women are obsessesed with status bags, hair and makeup and not so much on just how the clothing fits the body.

In comparison, she is sort of unadorned, which is fabulous. This requires knowing your body and being able to know when to stop.

A smashing body, great dress and simpple shoes. Not too much hair and makeup and jewelry. It is what makes a woman look young.

Great one. She's, for lack of a better word, hot.

Blogger londondog said ... (5:36 PM) :

She looks great. Her dress is fab - so simple yet utterly fabulous. I like the splash of colour of her red sandals. Mind you - you could dress it up with heels and wedges, and it'd look great too.

Is it just me or does she look like Bjork?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:02 AM) :

I love the contrast of the black dress against the red shoes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:55 PM) :

I have the same dress :) i just love H&M

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:05 PM) :

I love this!

Blogger Karina Cifuentes said ... (2:44 PM) :

tres chic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:11 AM) :

she's my friend and neighbour and she's goegeous!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:33 PM) :

JUST ADORABLE! I love the dress, but the hairstyle bugs me. The dress is really chic and simple though.

Blogger Unknown said ... (8:10 PM) :

Living proof that Italians do it better. Well....actually so do the French...and Spanish...New Yorkers...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:34 PM) :
