those sandals are my dream sandals. thank you for giving me hope that I may, indeed, be able to find summer footwear that isn't gladiatorial. the simplicity of her hair and makeup is great, too, but there's something about the dress that leaves me unsatisfied. more support, maybe?

what's not to like?! the dress speaks for itself. actually, the dress steals the show. beautiful!

Blogger Asi Mod said ... (3:55 AM) :

Nice coordinated color between the dress and sandals.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:44 AM) :

Altogether exquisite!

Great pairing.

this picture makes me wonder how much you are struggling to find the great style that's usually represented. what's up with people with season?

Blogger dnqcnn said ... (8:52 AM) :

divine

Pretty girl and pretty dress. Not sure the dress is right for her, however. I think it would suit a smaller bust and her waist is lost.

Blogger Laura Emily Dunn said ... (9:39 AM) :

I LOVE THIS! And especially her shoes!

Blogger The Spicers said ... (10:03 AM) :

Very pretty!

Blogger lewehrman said ... (10:03 AM) :

The detail on this dress is just mindblowing! Love love love it!

And the length is so great. The whole look is very Roman Holiday.

Or should I say Milanese Holiday?

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:39 AM) :

i love this look, it looks so effortless.

Blogger Romeika said ... (11:25 AM) :

Beautiful dress and flat sandals are the best thing ever! Comfort above all.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:52 AM) :

yawn. please show us some more interesting individuals.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:46 PM) :

Perfection!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:13 PM) :

Where oh where can I find shoes like that in Canada?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:39 PM) :

her skin is such a beautiful color, and she looks to have a killer body, but I'm not sure the top of that dress is doing much for it...but that's nitpicking. She is simply beautiful.

Blogger Pistachio Of Liberty said ... (2:52 PM) :

She bought (or was given) a dress with a gorgeous skirt. Then found sandals to match. Dress. Shoes. It's pretty and relaxed, but have I learned anything new? I suppose the lesson here is on restraint. I think I'd rather hang with Miss Red-Shoes in the background.

That said: I must tell you that, inspired by your ankle-length summer-dress shots, I got a black cotton column with that kind of "tube-top" bodice cheap - and it feels simply perfect, uberaccessorized or plain. I'm back in high school, but in a good way. So .... thanks!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:42 PM) :

Something is missing... she needs a beautiful floppy summer hat to balance that dress. The dress might be better on someone less top-heavy but overall the shoes and dress are wonderful.

Blogger Immaterial Girl said ... (12:50 AM) :

Cute girl, but if only this dress were knee-length, not tea-length. Would have been way more flattering.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:06 PM) :

to me, this woman stands out - among all the wonderfully fashionable people on this site - because her look appears almost entirely uncalculated. comfort first, letting her natural beauty shine through unrestrained. lovely choice of colours for her complexion.

Blogger PAULO said ... (3:07 AM) :

I completely adore the detailing on the dress, however I'm a little troubled by the bodice part of it as it doesn't look quite flattering on her.
Love the shoes and her hair.

Blogger DK said ... (5:57 PM) :

Wow. I've looked at this pic a few times over the last few days, and I finally enlarged it and took a good look at it. The posture, the gaze, the attitude. Good look, homeboy.

I don't even remember what she had on.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:34 PM) :

understated without being boring. p.s. your 'eye' is consistently outstanding and rigourous sart.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:16 PM) :

Is that Emily, an intern at Teen Vogue?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:21 AM) :

Maybe if the dress had the pretty pattern all over, her bust wouldn´t come out so loud.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:07 PM) :

..sorry to say it but.. well, it would have looked much better with a good bra underneath the dress.. But anyhow; beautiful dress and stunning modell! ^^)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:29 PM) :

I love the dress.

Blogger I'm Crackerjack said ... (3:01 AM) :

THAT is the perfect summer outfit. wow.
