The Sartorialist German Tour sponsored by German Vanity Fair

I want to send a big thank you to German Vanity Fair for commissioning this tour of Germany.
It has been a real adventure and hopefully the first of many!

Big thanks to Julia Freitag, the Style Director of VF for making the tour possible.

You may remember Julia from this recent post - yes, she is a lot of fun.

Also big, big thanks to Clark Parkin, who effortlessly guided me through the high/low of each city and helped me be in the right place at the right time.

With such good looking contributors and the right wits to enlist the Sartorialist, I officially declare to be a fan of German Vanity Fair. On top of that a great article by Peter Seewald on Pope Benedict XVI, I'm sold.

Well we thank VF too as we benefit from your European-posts-on-the-go!

how lovely to see a "fashionista" who seems spontaneous, lively, vivacious, warm, playful, and REAL! she re-defines the word! aloof new yorkers could learn a thing or two! (i say that as a new yorker myself...)

When will your work be published in Vanity Fair?

Frau Freitag is a runner? She's got wicked calf muscles.

And, yes, orange man is working it, Mr. Useless. Agreed.

Danke schone fur Julia Freitag, Clark Parkin, German Vanity Fair and of course, Sart for bring us the look of German fashion.

I really love the German series. We don't see too much of them in magazines.

Bravo!

They seem so laid back compared to our US fashionistas.

Of course, even "down the shore" (or wherever you go) we'll expect pix!
