Comments on "On the Street.......Gwen Stefanitorkelsson, Sodermalm, Stockholm"
Very stylish!
hji how do you call that bag?
she so worked that blue plastic thingamajig
your caption is spot on. it bothers me to see people who dress outside of their age group. this would be fine on a 10 year old, but i dont think she pulls it off particularly well, nor should she. its interesting to see how american middle-school style translates in other parts of the world =). aside from that, i'm not completely put off by the fit of the outfit...
Heathly looking Swed - then I noticed the cigarette . . .
she's as sexy as they come
Oh but this is so much better than Gwen Stefani...even the lighter that peeks out of her shirt pocket works for the outfit! She looks great, very individual and original without being showy or loud. Perfection.
i loove this look. So innovative! I never liked jeans-jakcets but this made me wanna go find one..
I have high waisted jeans and even the same looking t-shirt. Ha ha.. Cool you swedish girl!
Sart, I'm happy youre back to New York. For us Scandinavians its not that fun with fashion from Europe and Sweden. You have of cource done a great job finding unike people with great style. But happy you're back. :) Rock on!
love the mismatched denim
She actually makes high-rise jeans look good, with her curves.
gwen stefani WISHES she had that much style! love the ribbon in her hair and laundry basket.
Hahaha!!!
OOOOH this picture totally made my day,,
great great grrrrreat!
Love it. Two trends being worked: an ironic take on the Louis Vuitton laundry bag and high waisted jeans, working surprisingly well. The cigarette and lighter - bad as it is to say - make it all seem effortless, whilst the red ribbon adds an interesting dash of colour.

Speak for yourself. ;)
I love it whether it's from Europe or America or whatever.
Keep up the good work!
Sart, do you have a full length pic? I need to know were those skinny jeans? And what shoes did she have on? TIA
She has a GREAT body...as a matter of fact, she actually HAS a body. Very 80s Madonna to me (yes, I was there)channeling Bardot 50s (yes, I was there, too but just barely) Y'all think those jeans are high-wasted???????? That's her *natural* waist. We all have one.
I still have those EXACT sunglasses; purchased in a little store across the street from YALE in 1982. Ciao! xoxoxo, Lady
exhale, honey! she looks like she's holding her breath.
also, she looks a little like she's wearing a disguise. hiding from an unwanted suitor, perhaps.
I thought Gwen Stefani right when I saw this... only, being in Sweden, that's probably be her natural haircolor :)
Saw this pic and thought WOW! She looks great - but this I saw that Nasty Grit! EWW! She should have tossed it for the pic... Oh well! I guess it does show WHO she is...
GREAT SHOT SART!
I dig those jeans!!!
Bridget Bardot in Sweden?
Farm girl in the city?
Definitely an odd but pleasant look.
Great look! Very 1950s J.D. vibe...the normal waisted jeans look perfect for this style....would be curious to see what shoes she was wearing? Maybe some wedge espadrilles?
Two sahdes of denim...most interesting.
I dont know about you, but I would say that she looks like a second generation Swede-Yugoslavian (many of my friends are). Very beautiful people from that part of the world.
totaly cool chick!! the bag's colour just matches the whole outfit...
Haha that bag reminds me of my childhood in the 80s!! :)
Where could you buy that bag?? i loove it!
In sweden you can by the bag at any "åhlens" department store, för 69 kronor.
she looks exactly like a girl working at Weekday (clothing store). nice! :)
