Comments on "On the Street......Grey & Black And All Shades Of Right, Berlin"
Can't quite make out the details and design of the black top in the photo.
But black and grey are a bit grim combination. Particularly on a Summer day.
I suppose that the outfit is quite alright but wonder if her complexion would not be better served if she wore a less harsh color against it.
So, Hard to get excited one way or the other about the clothing, colors, etc. but give her kudos for wearing clothes that is more 'designed' and out of the usual from what we have seen in Berlin.
I absolutely love this. Swoon.
Too bad you're not coming to Finland!
Are those culottes she was wearing? It's a good monochrome look, and somehow the volume on the bottom works well too.
Sart, do think about putting the comments in a popup box please? We'd like to be able to see the pictures as we comment on them.
I love the geometry of the outfit.
I love the minimalism of this look. Simple and clean.
I do love the Grey & Black combo...a staple of mine. Those pants almost remind me of a pair of elegant, Thai style "culottes", with a dramatic wrap around tie in the front that I once owned. I don't see the bulkiness problem that I had though...but, they have the same basic shape. Grey & Black is only grim for those who see it that way.
Zen sensibility on a Stockholmer. I believe those are Thai firsherman pants she’s wearing or at least they’re based on that pattern. They are de rigueur in the tropics and you can wrap them countless ways but she did well with a simple overlap especially with that black shirt and flat pumps which Europeanizes the look. We would wear those with flipflops or barefoot here in resort island Cebu.
cool outfit, gorgeous picture..
So cute, so modern!
That looks like Thai fisherman's pants, which I have a few of. The colours are a bit drab for the weather though...
this is one of the most wonderful combinations i've seen on this blog. black and grey are grim yes but she wears it off so smartly, without any level of hipsterness, cooly. i don't know if ive ever actually see coluttes ? work well
i think this is your best photo yet!!
I know this girl - she is actually a fantastic interior designer!
check out her stuff on www.nadjamueller.com ; )
a fellow berliner...
She looks amazing. I would have her babies, and no-one would ever know if they were a girl or a boy because they would always be dressed in black and grey~
The quintessential Berliner, ne?
It's a sort of practical grace or a graceful practical, isn't it? No nonsense. Just is.
I love Berlin.

Beautiful, how did you get her to pose like that?
Is that Sofia Coppola in Berlin or another Marc Jacob fan?
It's all in the line
Great pose, great outfit!
So simple, clean and effortless stylish...this is one of the best photos I have seen on the Satorialist.
i can't believe she managed to make tropical fishermens' pants look so european. good on her!
i miss being able to mix different seasonal pieces together now that i live in the hot humid tropics..she did it brilliantly.

i hate nothing more than that sporty look with "fun" colors for good weather! i think black is the perfect color for summer! all the whites, pinks and beiges get dirty quickly, are mostly see-thru in all the wrong places and make white europeans look sunburnt all the time and like they are constantly on vacation. a lightweight black cotton/batist, gold sandals and a long neglace. voilá, ready for summer in the city! makes everyone look elegant.
totally relaxed, fashiony and she oozes confidence...what else can i say but perfect!
Nadia! You look gorgeous babe. Get your butt over to NYC so we can party. - Justin's friend Anna
