Comments on "On the Street.....Young Man Of Sodermalm, Stockholm"
gerri: he is cute ^.^
Here's a fine example of knowing what works best for your body type--long and lean, in this case. He's also worked the black-and-white thing to perfection....
I live on that street!
How can one place has such a massive assemble of quirky of individuals! Quite amazing. The streets seem so clean it hurts my eyes. M
Sart, I don't quite understand why it seems you've only visited two areas of Sweden?
I appreciate the diversity you've provided in your pictures, however as I have to travel vicariously through your adventures I'd love it if you broadened you horizons ;-)
I'm starting to think there must be a reason for you sticking to these two areas.. transport difficulties perhaps?
Oh yes he is cute...and sartorialy great too! I love the bag especially and the great pin on his waistcoat. But please, no more pigeontoed poses!
cant get more right! love you gustav
Oh is he cute or what?! Check out the cheeky grin!
I want the eye glasses. I am so tired of tiny spectacles.
sart, you'll be hardpressed to find backdrops like that in the states. i think the european backgrounds add a nuance to your shots that influence the impression made by the subjects. i love it. i think i'm just jealous. thanks for the amazing shots.
the bag is American Tourister...
Just perfect. =)
like a fiduciary from a Chehov-novel :-)
but what has he got in that great big bag? school books? a body? a picnic?
I would clearly agree that this guy is a sartorialist of an unsual kind....
He looks great. I wish we got to see more details. I can sort of see that the placket front (sorry if I am using incorrect terms - English is my second langauge - correct me at will) does not go all the way to the bottom, and that he has some sort of brooch on his waistcoat. I like how he plays with (well-balanced) proportions. wonderful!
Wow! That bag is so nice...and so ...no logo!
He has a great style!
If all "geeks" in the world looked this way, we (or the males, anyway) wouldn't be so maligned.
He's hot!
mltt
grandiose photographic composition. look how the traffic signs in the back correspond the young man's head and his glasses.
I think I'm in love
Very cute! Please notice, American men, that this man is dressed casually and is wearing really nice shoes--NOT running shoes. such a pleasure!
way to much! typical youth
lose them glasses and bag
the rest would be divine
it's all about those glasses.
I'm surprisd how good he looks in those glasss.
haha cute : )
so cute! he looks like yves saint laurent!
Cool dude. I love the vest on him. I have seen men in vest and it is a HARD look to pull off. You either end up looking like a 60's hippie or a stuffy lawyer.
But this young man made it look totally hip and cool.
N.B.: Again, I love the street signs behind him.
I am totally intrigued by them.
This is one of my favorite Sartorialist shots so far--the subject's style, the composition, lighting, etc. Ace.
Light grey and black is a great combination. I like it all except the bag. That bag just doesn't add to the look.
sweet spectacles!
what a fantastic expression.
hot!
Those glasses, that vest & a man bag! I could following him around for days, in an "amelie" sort of way!
Fierce! This man is sexy.
This is downtown Stockholm in a nutshell.
aoww.. he was sweet, I like.. and a very nice pic.. <3
wonder what he keeps in that bag..
i really need some decent shoes
It is rare that one finds impeccably dressed, yet unpretentious males. Granted it's not as though I know this man, yet he appears to me to be truly beautiful, in style and in the air he gives off.
who makes his shoes?
