I can't help fancying this...the sweatervest and hat just make it, as does the beanbag. And I appreciate the fact that he hasn't tried to do something stupid with the hat, or drape hinself in neon scarves.

What a sweetie! Loving this 'rude boy' look circa 1981. Reminds me of the new British film This Is England. I just saw it last night - great skinhead style and soundtrack.

That's so södermalm it can be ;) Very nice!

Blogger Butch said ... (8:39 AM) :

(Clearly any city that has camouflage-patterned street furniture is the place to live in.)

This guy has it DOWN. It all adds up--and the sum is just about perfect, with the hat truly inspired. His youth is the topper.

Fantastic! Love the use of color!

Blogger Melissa B said ... (9:37 AM) :

he looks so sweet, i just want to kiss him! muahh! love the rat pack look on a swede.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:04 AM) :

he's seamlessly mod, with a tip of the cap to traditionalism

Blogger Unknown said ... (12:41 PM) :

I love it! The photo itself more than anything even.

Blogger Asi Mod said ... (12:54 PM) :

I absolutely love it because it works so well on him. Yes, we have seen this look many times on older guys but it looks so fresh on a young man like him. It's such a surprise but a good one.

Blogger bomb.ass.ting said ... (1:04 PM) :

There is nothing special about this individual.

Blogger bixx said ... (1:17 PM) :

the expression is nice though.

i know him. his style is gr8

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:24 PM) :

Is this in front of the APC shop?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:26 PM) :

he reminds me of a little boy in that cloths, but it's a cool style though

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:11 PM) :

Not what I'd wear, but the look is perfectly natural on him... his outfit doesn't look articulated at all, it's just so him.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:39 AM) :

outside fred perry nitty gritty=). lovely shop, lovely boy!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:35 AM) :

True, this kid looks naturally comfortable in his clothes.

That's what it's all about.

Don't try too hard. Don't exaggerate. Find what's comfortable and push it a little bit. Make your clothing style fit you and wear your style, not the other way around.

Good job.

aww, i love his hat! seeing men in hats always makes me smile.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:14 PM) :

One of the better looks I've seen on a youngster these days. He appears to have much more confidence than the goth-wave followers.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:06 PM) :

he looks so CUTE!! I just want to take him home & feed him - love his look!

Blogger jenna said ... (1:13 AM) :

great prop - was the beanbag chair being carried with him?

Blogger Stratos Bacalis said ... (5:37 AM) :

Love it! More like this please.

Blogger Olle said ... (7:04 AM) :

He works at the Fred Perry shop on Krukmakargatan, right next to the APC one. I saw him last Sunday and thought he looked totally type casted.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:28 AM) :

He looks like a Hummel . . . I want him.

Blogger hoi polloi said ... (12:41 PM) :

What a cutie

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:55 PM) :

I like it, but I think it would be better if he ditched the hat.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:25 PM) :

i love him! i wish more people dressed like him. his clothes are almost ordinary, but there is something about him..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:48 AM) :

wonderfully put togther, great lookin top to toe outfit!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:21 AM) :

viva the hat!
i long for the return of hats as everyday ware

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:15 AM) :

Note narrow brim allows elegant face to shine through.
