Comments on "On The Curvy Street That I Cannot Remember The Name Of..... That Hair, Berlin"
Nice pictures!
Wonderful and very natural hair style. Seems to be just waitng to be messed up by the wind... lol
Lovely bangs.
That's a great head of hair. It's funny - but if you look at the sign they are actually sitting outside of a hair salon- Frisöre means hairstylists...
It's on Neue Schönhauser Straße, Berlin Mitte.
i like the silhouette of the woman sitting next to that hair.
Her posture. Her arm position. That smile. Classic Maggie Gyllenhaal.
Don't you think?nu
Pretty young woman + cigarette!?
Hair is great, cigarette not so much.
I love her hair, sunglasses and Tee Shirt-- it reminds me of a Beatle cut but more femme.
LOVE the hair! HATE the grit!
Wow.. with the hair, sunglasses and pale jeans her picture looks just like a high fashion ad from the 80s.
oooooooh beatle girl! :D fantastic!!!!
Mireille Mathieu!

Her friend has nice legs(I should start cycling to get those legs).
Love it, very self assured ...
Lovely swinging '60s, Mary Quant-style hair. Shame about the cigarette. Ciggies are SOOOO downmarket and uncool!
Her hair is too Mireille Mathieu for my liking and the cigarette is a major turn off... Her companion on the other side is so alluring!
I think they represent the epitomy of youth. Gorgeous photo!
yes, they look so carefree and lovely, with great legs!
a lo garçon???
wow. elegant, relaxed, insouciant - a soundtrack of utter silence as a result of the power of the visual.
Agree with d. chedwick bryant said... a translated version of Beatle-esque - looks fabulous.
wow what a cool look! i like that shes just wearing shorts, ray ban-esque sunglasses and a black teeshirt, but her attitude speaks for it self. thats what makes her haircut and outfit work so well. what great shots you capture!
Be careful that you are not in some way promoting the idea that cigarette smoking is fashionable and cool. We have to remember that it's killing people-have you heard? Sorry, but I just had to go there.
she just oozes cool.
wow. elegant, distinctive, relaxed - this picture delivers a soundtrack of absolute silence. visually complete!
i think that she looks great, even with a cigarette.. i think its important to remember that smoking is a individual choice, so stop judging people as uncool just because they smoke.
I love both their stances..so casual and uninhibited
You anti smokers are sooooo frustrating and boring! Come on, just because there's a photograph of a young ish looking woman smoking doesn't mean that this blog promotes or even condones smoking. You're totally missing the gist of this shot - the photo was taken because she's got great hair and looks hot, not because she's smoking. The smoking is incidental. We get bombarded with enough anti-smoking propaganda in every day life, can we please let Sartorialist continue to be focused on fashion and style, rather than becoming another outlet for the haters to spout their tired old slogans?
Dorothy Hamill hair!
Everyone is shouting out Mireille Mathieu. Try Mathieu Santos, from RaraRiot.
The hairstyle is called a wedge.
Popularized by Dorothy Hamill, among others. Style maven Bernadette van Huy used to have one in the mid-90s.
First, she is lovely. Scott shot a great picture. He is an artist.
However, smoking is not an individual choice. Second-hand smoke has kills, too. Secondly, the smoking is not incidental; it completes a look which appeals to a certain segment of this site's demographic, one which I hope Scott would feel inclined to marginalize before he marginalizes the rest of us.
she reminds me of Faye Wong, a Hong Kong singer. Except the tobacco.
The hottest haircut I've seen in a while actually.
I love the hair!!
I think I know her..she is italian!Giulia
i wish i could be sitting on that bench with them
She looks exactly my mum from when I was younger.
her hair makes her look like a boy from the 70's. how is that cool? and her masculine nose and no makeup isnt helping.
