I am deeply upset that you're not going to come to visit us in Stuttgart!

But just so you know: You'll find the classic dandys in munich and the trendy ones in berlin. hamburg is a little bit of both!

And I'm kind of upset that you never visit Gothenburg in Sweden. ^^

Blogger Jessica Quirk said ... (8:40 PM) :

I thought the style in Koln wasn't that great, but hoping you find some surprises!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:42 PM) :

When will you be in Munich?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:18 PM) :

Make sure you capture the famous Berlin street scene!

And, you know, some of the beautiful women in Stockholm.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:13 AM) :

Fabulous that you will visit Stockholm! While undoubtedly you will find many cool and original looks in the trendy Södermalm, don't discount young-ish Swedish business men, many here have quite a flair and you might notice that checked shirts are popular. Good luck!

I'll dress my best the whole week wenn you are in Germany! I'm from Hamburg - who knows...? :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:37 AM) :

oooh, Berlin will be brilliant.

go to Leipzig and Dresden as well!
the east is much more interesting and vibrant right now and there's much more going on than in West Germany.

How great that you are coming to Munich - that's my hometown! I moved out of Munich 4 years ago though and we are living now at the Ammersee, that's 50mins by train from Munich downtown. The famous monestary Andechs can be reached by a nice hike trough the woods in about 45mins from Herrsching and there are ships crusing on the lake :) Where will you be in Munich for taking pictures? Downtown is great as well as Schwabing. Haidhausen also as some funny people and the Glockenbach-Viertel(lots of trendy youngsters and gay people). Do you already know which hotel you will stay at?

If you have the opportunity, I would recommend that you also visit my hometown of Copenhagen, Denmark- lots of stylish Scandinavians here, so if you have time after Stockholm, think about it:-)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:26 AM) :

I was in Munich few weeks ago and I saw so many stylish people! I think you will take some great images there:)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:18 AM) :

be sure not to miss our lovely kreuzberg when coming to berlin! schlesische straße would be a great place to look out for some stylish people. the area around kottbusser tor subway station gives a good idea of the many contrasts clashing in our city: punks, homeless people, hipsters, turkish grandmas, wanna-be-gangstas - all crowded at one spot: a rough atmosphere, but somehow inspiring.

I am looking almost every day at your blog and I love it. Thanks for all the beautiful pictures. I am now really looking for the pictures you will take in Germany and particularly in Berlin.
Let us know in which Vanity Fair issue you will be published so that we can buy it ;-)
Message coming from a french girl living in Berlin.

i dunno exactly when you'll be in berlin but be aware that on may 1st, there is something like a tame scheduled riot in kreuzberg. during the day this could make for some fabulous pictures as at that time, it's more like a massive block party. at night though, id suggest clearing out a good hour before sundown, as it's possible you or your cameras could get damaged by an errant cobblestone or cherry bomb.

and i second what the previous poster said. kottbusser tor, schlesische str., and nearby goerlitzer park.

What what what will you be doing in Stockholm? It's a loovely city, very beautiful with the water and all the pretty, skinny girls! wow, looking forward!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:08 PM) :

I also hoped, that you would come to Stuttgart. But I'm still looking forward to seeing the pictures you will take in Germany. I think the best pictures will come from Munich.

Have fun in Germany!

I love Munich, Berlin and Stockholm... but I'm really hoping for some unexpectedly outta-the-park images from Hamburg!

I am a great fan of your blog keep this great work up ! Hope you meet nice people on your tour, and wish you a good jurney!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:28 PM) :

when will you be in stockholm? Í promise I will dress mny best and then go look for you ;)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:43 PM) :

you can purchase those anklets like the ones barberra's son was wearing.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:39 PM) :

You should forget Germany (well, except Berlin maybe) and concentrate more to Scandinavia if you want to find people who wear something else than what has been in the Boss Spring Summer catalog. The young adults in scandinavian capitals are creating a style of their own.

Stockholm, Copenhagen and Helsinki are all inevitably the cities where street-fashion trends come from nowadays. Italians sure know how to be stylish, but you can't sense the future trends when walking in the streets of Milan. In these Scandinavian capitals however...well, you'll see ;).

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:05 PM) :

Oooooh Sart I want you to go to Copenhagen so badly. The style that exudes those danes surpasses all of their scandi cousins.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:04 PM) :

Hello you newyorker, greetings from Cologne, please let me know when you will be in cologne and where, i'm going to dress my best!

Blogger nina said ... (11:29 AM) :

aaah cologne...

i'll have to dress in my finest from thursday on. ;-)

or maybe dress down instead and try to watch you shooting people. could be even more fun. is there any chance of the exact dates and locations to be published?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:56 PM) :

Looking forward to see you here in Hamburg, Germany, Scott. I think you have a faboulous fashion blog.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:27 AM) :

hope to you get some nice shots in Hamburg...fashionwise, it´s strange here...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:30 PM) :
