The Sartorialist in the New York Post
I was so psyched to have an article about my blog in the NY Post this past Sunday. Notice that I'm smiling in the photo! (much easier to do when not taking a self-portrait)

congrats!
Brown suede with navy -- very classy.
Congratulations on being named one of Time Style & Design's 100 most influential people in the design world!!
NB: Love your shoes.
Damn! those suede monks are sweeeet! Who makes them, Sart?
lucky you!
Congratulations on your work, now on to more important things.... give us a rundown on the outfit.
Great Article Sart. I remember that picture of the guy in a cape and tights. Scary . . . but definitely his own style! Anyway, I love your site. My absolute favorite daily destination. Keep up the amazing work.
Nice suit, with just the right sleeve length! Also, love the shoes. Are they Tod's by any chance? My husband has a similar pair.
You're so cute! ;-)
Congratulations on the Vogue opportunity! Love your blog, it has given me a completely different 'eye on fashion and style'.

Congratulations on being the subject of such a thoughtfully written article.
Bonjour Monsieur Sartorialist,
You are just very nice... Your photo is absolutely "élégante" !
I like your sense of beauty... BRAVO ! It's a real pleasure to watch your blog everyday...
Take care of you...

Congrats! I love that the article pointed out your lack of snark. That's one of the things I really like about your blog. Do you dress this sharply every day? Who watches the kid while you're shooting?
Congratulations on the article!
Congratulations on your article! Great look (of course) and smile!
Congrats on the French Vogue connection! And the Style & Design! That is so wonderful.

Love the lavender shirt and the brown suede shoes with the navy suit.
A great combo, you look swell !
handsome and dapper!!! love everything about the look ESPECIALLY those shoes. very well done, mr. sartorialist.
Thanks for smiling! And congratulations.
Congratulations... You're the best! Love the navy with the brown shoes...two colors I've been combining for 20 years! You look great, love the smile! Bravo, Scott!
Scott,
Congratulations! I'm glad that you keep getting the accolades you deserve. You really do give a voice to those of us who find the human aspects of fashion and style so fascinating.
Keep up the great work, and never lose that unique view of the world.
Congratulations! You certainly deserve it.
(Lovely suede/navy combination)
congrats on your blog success!
i like that everyone is usually pretty positive here. question: do you moderate comments so that the really mean-spirited ones don't get published?
Congrats, Sart!
Like many, this is by far my favorite style destination which I visit every day. Sometimes more...like today. After dinner, was scrolling rather quickly and said aloud, "whoops, who's the cutie"? (Sorry, it was spontaneous.) I scroll back up and voila!
Fantastic, Scott! You look elegant, relaxed...just great!! Congratulations and thanks very much too for the inspiration! Kelly, Arlington, MA
Congratulations! Mind listing your camera of choice? I was unable to enlarge the picture.
Come to think of it, you are smiling in the picture! You were not smiling in the picture you took when were down here in Miami. Remember? You had a pissed off look.
Great to learn more about The Sartorialist - thanks for putting up the link!
I'm amazed that you've been taking photos for such a short time, you really have an eye - please don't stop any time soon! :)
love from a fan in New Zealand
Hey, I feel a little smug that I discovered this blog/site before the article came out.
No doubt about your artist's eye.
Time Style & Design will name him one of the 100 most influential people in the design world. The mag says his site is a "must-read for the style-obsessed. What sets it apart is its attention to elusive elements of flair - the sweep of white hair or 'attitude' of an upturned collar."
fuck yeh
How come your photo doesn't enlarge? Scared we will check out your pores? :D
congrats. your blog assures me that i really do have no fashion sense.
damn, you're cute!
I'm rather partial to your self portrait with you in Those Jeans.
i really love watch people in real life with their outfit so real. you inspire me. i love you sense of fashion. muy chido!!! complimenti!!!
ckI appreciate the analyses we get from Sart and sometimes from the posters as well. It's fun to read the 'great look' comments but for someone learning about clothes, it's the specific tips, and the detailed analysis of WHY an outfit works, that I like best about this blog.
And the friendly, encouraging tone - a minimum of nasty-bitchiness.
Keep on Sarting!

“Not through what is low comes the attainment of the highest, but through what is high comes the attainment of the highest.” Keep inspiring us Mr. Schuman.
Brilliant job! Well done. You truly are an admirable icon in this industry! Keep it up.
le calza da boggi...sart. incorreggibile.
Here's another question: what color belt (and what type of leather) would you wear with those shoes? Or would you go sans belt?
just wanted to add my little voice to the choir of cheers. i'm from moscow, russia and you're in my daily feed. someday i'll get that look, make it to manhattan and smile into your camera too, promise!
You look brillo!
Congratulations on your continued success! This is by far my favorite indulgence during breakfast.
Bravo Scott!

Ha!
the photo doesn't enlarge b/c it is not my photo
I pulled it from the NY Post website
thanks everyone for all your very kind words!!
Great blog, great pics, pleasure to look at, as well as to read some beautifully written comments. Think it represents just a perfect balance of how 'seriuous' one should be about sthg we call 'fashion'. Keep it up. Kind regards from Montenegro (a small state in the Mediteranean).
many many thanks and congratulations
The Post, eh? How does it feel to be in the paper of choice for those with a 1st grade level of reading comprehension.
You're so cute!

Sorry, I don't understand your comment
Congratulations! Well deserved.
Hey Scott,
Where are those shoes from?
I love them and looking for a similar pair ;-)
Yayy, you deserve the accolade.
Because of your site, I'm really trying to be experimental in dress and style. It takes some time and creativity, but I think I'm getting there.
Thank you again, Sartorialist. :)
What kind of camera have you got there, Sart?
- Esther
