LOVE that dress--any idea where it's from?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:21 PM) :

Looks like Carrie Bradshaw ready for a day on the town. Very cute!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:27 PM) :

The dress color doesn't complement her skin and hair. I like her ballet flats, and her shy Muccia Prada facial expression.

Very cute dress, great color. Love the flats, so beautiful!

interesting details on the dress but the color is not flattering. this is a hard color to wear. i think you either have to be very fair or very dark to add contrast. perhaps it looked better in person. in the photo the color makes her look sallow.

i love the dress and the cut is so flattering.

Blogger JO said ... (4:02 PM) :

LOVE love LOVE the dress - I think I'd like it better with Strapy heels though

I love the the dress and all its details but not the color on her. Her skin tone matches too much with that dress.

She would look fabulous in a black or red version of that dress.

Nice frock. Wasn't sure 'bout the shoes, but as you look upwards you can see that she committed to this look and matched up her accessories.

Safely stylish. Kudos.

charming.

cute little wrinkled dress

holy cow! i love that dress! been obsessing over nude-color lately... super cute!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:20 PM) :

So nice to see a modest and cute dress! I agree the color isn't the best compliment for her haircolor and complexion. I was suffering from Sart withdrawal. Glad you have landed and posting again!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:52 PM) :

I've seen something similar at uniqlo...

The caffe latte shade is wonderful, as is the cut, very chic and modern Italian summer. I personally think I nice, high ponytail would have worked better but her shoes work perfectly here because, really, heels would take away the natural feel and make the dress seem affected. Many women tend to spoil a chic, fresh, au natural look with a pair of misplaced spiky heels.

Gunne Sax has risen again. In better color.

It just isn't fair that Spring has come to Milan and we in NYC are still deeply chilled! Cute dress, cute shoe, cute girl!! Perfect Spring look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:39 PM) :

i would love to see this girl with some cute bangs.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:08 PM) :

Yeah where's the red version?! Cause being ado(red) is so nice......

She's got a really cute look, and the dress is great too!

Peace!

Blogger SB said ... (1:10 AM) :

She's so adorable. And the flats are perfect! Love the new posts :) They make my homework so much more tolerable.

Blogger looksinto: said ... (2:17 AM) :

What strikes me about this photo is how perfectly tailored the dress is. Say what you will about the color, but the length of the dress is perfect, hitting at that individually perfect spot at the knee.
And to balance out that she's showing a lot of bare skin, she maintains a modest neckline. The way she tied the sash/ribbon defines her waist elegantly, and even the sleeves on this dress flatter her silhouette.

I think she's great.

Perhaps it's just me, but this is just not on...the sallow-inducing colour, the (unintentional) wrinkles in the skirt, the cutesy little girl ruffles, the very flat flats. She would look fantastic in lots of outfits, this woman - but not so much in this one.

I Know the balleina is a hot item for the feet this seaon ....and I like the pairing with the "quirky" dress here....both compliment each other in the sense of keeping the look interesting ...which is what like!

She looks like one of these old beautiful sepia postcards.

Blogger Bel said ... (4:41 AM) :

The shoes are adorable, but I think the dress is too much as a one piece.

Would love the top and bottom halves better if they were separates.

I have this color dress and wore it with silver sandals last summer. Its a very unusual color-mauve or light brown? Anyway the color combo is great but the style of the dress seems off.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:47 PM) :

Ach! what a sweet look.

Wow, it's spring there? ... I'm definitly in Boston...

Like someone already said...the dress doesn't really complement her hair colour but despite that little detail, I absolutely love the dress!
