Comments on "On the Street.....Mr. Domenico Vacca, Uptown"
What a great blog! I know everyone agrees, which is why I see links to yours on everybody elses, but somehow I've never managed to get myself here. I'll be back for sure. Thanks.
zappy dappy happy...adore this photo..simply adore it...the joy in his face comes through the screen...a beautiful photo...yep to the shoes
Fabulous coat on a fabulous man, and yeah the shoes ROCK.
HOT
Bellissimo uomo. Great smile and great shoes. And everything in between's pretty handsome too.
so do i!
very nice, though I think the shirt should have been buttoned to the top...but that's my opinion
And the short, narrow pants with turn-ups.
2 great hair shots in a row. i especially love the timing of this one following the NYU student. the contrast.
i think this a good alternative to the green socks my husband insists on wearing.
vivan los zapatos verdes!
He has a store down here in South Florida. It's really expensive, but everything is perfect. Everything.
His sport coats are brilliant, and his shoes are like works of art. They are perfect!
Ooooh, hello. That is one attractive gentleman! Perfect for my Friday morning caffeine and style fix.
Without knowing it was Mr Vacca, I saw him last week on Madison avenue with the most amazing dark pinstripes suit I ever saw!!!!
He is probably one of the most stylish men on this side of the world.
Look at that overcoat!
The green is nice, even if I could never pull it off. But something about the proportions of the coat seems off--maybe it's the length & its overall bulk; it makes him appear wide & blocky, with his legs poking out spindly below. Nice-looking fabric, though.
You're the best. All the way.
not to steal his moment - but i once owned a pair of red bally crocs w/ buckle from the 60's-70's. i can attest - colored shoes make you feel confident. this man looks confident. nicely done.
There are many pleasures here, not the least of which is the proportion of pants to coat.
Only quibble--the bare neck peeking through the coat; cognitive dissonance, kind of.
I love the green shoes too!!!!!! He seems a very nice person!
Jean Reno??!??:)
What a beautiful stylish man!
He looks so chic with his turned up lapels, olive shoes and narrow pants-a great look!
This man is fantastic-looking. The color of the shoes IS interesting, the cut and length of the pants is great, but mostly the contrast between his powerful body and his kind smile are what do it for me. Gorgeous.
the trousseres are my favorites!
I think the color of the pants pull together the green shoes and black coat perfectly- it creates a gorgeous color palette for the outfit that's not too dark or light...
Who wouldn't be happy, with shoes like that! (And the coat, and the smile...)
that sort of looks like my alma mater, teh glorious columbia university
What a chic gentleman, Mr. Domenico Vacca. I agree with BUTCH, there is cognitive dissonance on the turned up peak lapels and the opened dress shirt.
I too would have preferred to see more of the shirt protruding from the coat, or a scarf perhaps. However, I like the coat and green shoes very much. I just hope he's not rying to make an environmentalist statement with them. And there's an idea, perhaps we can get some environemntalist to forego their birkenstock Jesus water walkers for a nice pair of proper green shoes...hmmm
I wish I could afford his shirts!
He's all sorts of wonderful, this man. But why can't I see the picture anymore?
