all of the elements of this are great, but it's the bag strap that seems to bring it all together for a perfect look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:20 PM) :

HOTNESS!!!!!!!!!!!

Blogger Jessica Quirk said ... (7:32 PM) :

THIS! is why I love the Sartorialist-- when you show real people who look really good.

Blogger Carolina Lange said ... (7:40 PM) :

He looks so warm and cozy with that coat!

Blogger Butch said ... (7:53 PM) :

Great coat (no pun intended), great look. Love the way the collar frames his face....

Blogger Unknown said ... (8:57 PM) :

Just effortless. I'm a little biased because I wear almost the exactly same outfit. Same colors n everything but I think he looks cuter.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:09 PM) :

Great look! but how does the huge collar stay up? It seems like it would flop down since it's so big.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:35 PM) :

Love the jacket and his beard-a very charming guy!

Blogger Asi Mod said ... (10:45 PM) :

Cool urban look. Is this what post metrosexualish looks like?

Blogger odilean said ... (12:30 AM) :

it should be in the low 50's this weekend. i cannot wait.

Blogger charinef said ... (2:06 AM) :

Is it really so cold now?

He dressed like it is -50 degrees out there.

Love the idea. :>

Blogger DSA said ... (4:19 AM) :

big collar, man, gooood....

Blogger Gudl said ... (6:24 AM) :

He looks great and equipped for 'our' weather! Friendly face, too!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:46 AM) :

I`m so envious - it`s raining here in Helsinki, I`d rather take snow and cold weather.
Found your blog a while ago, and have been going through the archives and enjoying.
Your blog is truly inspiring, thanks!

HE'S A GREAT BEARDED MAN WITH STYLE!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:27 PM) :

What a splendid collar on that coat! Does it fit two?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:35 PM) :

oh man... he looks like an urban mountaineer. i have a digital crush on this guy.

Blogger Unknown said ... (1:09 PM) :

I LOVE the coat! It makes him look even cuddlier than he already is.

The high shearling collar is an awesome alternative to a scarf and the strap on the bag does add a great element to the outfit.

This looks so stylish, yet, at the same time, looks as if just threw it on.

Is this Cynthia Rowley's husband? He looks like the gentleman I have seen her with, but we have never been introduced. I thought I saw him with her at John Bartlett's last show and he was in Bartlett's F/W 2006 show? Yes?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:27 PM) :

Jeff, yes. its Cynthia's husband.
such a stylish couple! He did walk in john bartlett's show two seasons ago. i liked that show, very good casting choices.

Blogger Unknown said ... (2:31 PM) :

Whatta great-looking dude

Blogger Asi Mod said ... (3:12 PM) :

That's my husbear!!! OR what I dream of when I'm in husbear land.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:04 PM) :

Loooove his look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:18 PM) :

YUM! Like delicious Allan with a beard.
And yes, it has been that bloody cold here. The weekend promises better, 'they' say...
Oh, and great coat and hat.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:40 AM) :

Bill Powers.
A great man. One of the reasons I have drive as a journalist.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:57 PM) :

this guy is beautiful!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:53 AM) :

hottie!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:33 AM) :

i think the coat is a vintage military piece, swedish or swiss (can't remember). saw one like it not too long ago.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:45 PM) :

Love Bill...what a great dad. And Cynthia does dress him well.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:57 PM) :

This guy looks like an updated version of the sea-faring adventurer, Shackleton from a century ago.

Smooth.

Blogger Unknown said ... (9:38 PM) :

Outdoorsy. Kind of like he's on his way to climb Mount Everest, which makes him totally hot.

Blogger victime de la mode said ... (7:01 AM) :

Blogger Lazy P said ... (8:07 PM) :
