Comments on "On the Street......Rue Saint-Honore, Paris"
that coat is fantastic - any shots from the back?
What?!?!
Extraordinary...garment; and he wears it, not vice versa.
Seeing this, seeing him, makes one feel more sanguine about living in the world.
Unlike butch, I think this piece is overbearing on this individual. He looks uncomfortable...but perhaps he's simply camera shy.
It is a *very* nice coat.
mltt
My god, what was he thinking when he left the house ?
Amazing coat! I love it.
Is that a V. Westwood jacket? It's great.

Just wanted to say that you are fantastic and I love your blog. All the people you photograph have amazing style and this site has given me more inspiration that all the fashion magazines combined. You have a great eye for subtle details that really make an outfit stand out. I have been checking your blog from the beginning and so far have never disagreed with you opinion.
Keep up the good work.
please, tell us you got a shot of this from the back!
I love the way he wears this. It's beautiful.
sexy
i like the coat, but the pants make me want to say "dude... the rave ended in 2002..."
that coat looks very Junya Watanabe
Looks like his work.
Love how the stripes just lead the eye up to the face of the wearer
I seriously gasped when I first saw this. Fantastic.
He looks amazing -- rather like Daniel Day-Lewis. Is that a Vivienne Westwood jacket?
amazing coat! Indeed he wears it and not the other way around. Impressive
Did he fly away after you took the photo??
could quite easily be a film set..clothes as sculpture..
I believe it is a Junya Watanabe coat from last season. Wonderful.
It`s quite rare to see a guy experiment with proportions and wolumes like that. A true original.
I really want to know what kind of boots those are...
This is what I love about Paris & London - It's not as generic as N.Y ...
i feel like this is too costumey. i would like it if it were more subtle -- maybe just with the flare at teh waist, but not with the ruffle extending down the sides. also regarding ny style -- though you can often find dozens of people dressed in the latest trends without really putting their own unique style into, if you watch people for a while, you definitely notice the truly unique and inspired in the city.
I agree with one of the anonymous posters. That coat has Comme des Garcons written all over it. It's beautiful.
This makes me very happy. How wonderufl.
that coat's insane! elaborate design yet maintains that sharp ruggedness.
except.
it just me or do his legs look real far apart??
marvelleux.
You could not have better orchestrated all the lines in this shot. It's extraordinarily moving if you just concentrate on the forms in this: The steps, the fabric, the palette. It's almost like cubism manifest in the real world. I constantly have to step back and realise the wonder of your shots in of themselves, sometimes the style is distracting, but in this case it's integrally a part of it.
It IS Junya, not comme des.
