Comments on "On The Street.... 6th Ave, New York"
And it's how much below freezing out? And she's wearing what looks like a cotton shift with skin showing?
Looks like they called in the bomb specialist!
i like that a little of her thigh is showing. it adds a little humor, even if she didn't do it on purpose.

Thigh-highs are sexy, but these oversized jersy dresses take away from that sexiness - reminds me of dad's old t-shirt that she might sleep in.
His coat would fit a giant.
Love her outfit, but I think it is too cold for that.
That guy goes by the name of V.I.P. and is a big staple in the New York hipster scene as a rapper of sorts. He's often seen in the clothes of designers like Jeremy Scott.
I find the mix of the oversize jersey dress and the thigh-highs a little odd but I think she makes it work. The glimpse of skin is very sexy but a bit much if it was intended.
I like the dress, thigh high, coat combo. I am not brave enough to wear such little clothing right now because I am freezing, but she looks great. Whimsical, yet fashionable.
It's actually 55 degrees today, so perhaps her male companion is a little too bundled....
I remember being that pregnant, where you're too hot no matter how cold the weather.
If the pair from Nolita madee me want to hibernate until the hipster thing was over because they looked so unattainably cool, these two make me want to do the same, but because they look so completely calculated. She's straight out of Vice Mag's Do's column and he looks what my grandpa would call a 'hoodlum'. Although, to the girl's credit, the employees of the Newbury Street American Apparel could learn a thing or two from her.
I lovelovelove that just a teeny bit of her thigh is showing...such a gentle tease of flesh which has not been glimpsed for many months on the streets of the city. Of course, seasonly, it might not be appropriate, but hey! she got our attention!
The fellow on the left, I believe, appears to be a member of Misshapes, so he is more or less central to the hipster phenomenon. He's wearing Bernhard Willhelm shoes, and I can only imagine that the rest was purchased from Seven New York as well.
My problem with this outfit is knowing who it is, and how much it cost. I have trouble trusting people who never wear the same thing twice, and the Misshapes folks show up in different expensive couture / RTW at every opportunity available to them, and it just doesn't speak of "style" so much as a desire to be seen and adored. I believe the term is "showing off."
It doesn't take much style to go into Opening Ceremony every weekend and buy $1000 of clothes, you're bound to get something right eventually.
He's not a member of misshapes but like I said before, goes by the name of V.I.P. and, yes, appears at Misshapes sometimes. I'm not sure how these people afford the range of clothes they wear--Bernard Wilhelm and Jeremy Scott certainly don't come cheap and these people don't seem to repeat outfits very often...
the girl is sona g., and she aint pregnant.
he is jonny makeup. and they both work at american apparel
she looks beautiful and so does he. and no they are not trying too hard, i know for a fact that style is second nature to these two.
her smile sets it all off so perfectly
