Where do you find these beauties? Where do they come from? What amazing clothes too...but they look so expensive though. And why isn't everyone at work like I am?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:05 PM) :

I like her coat!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:46 PM) :

love this coat! - minette

Blogger rosie said ... (7:57 PM) :

This is incredibly charming in so many ways! The bag in the basket, the substantial scarf, the light and colorful coat, the curving lines on the bike, her pose on the bike...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:07 PM) :

that is a stunningly beautiful woman. clothes are perfect and bike is tres chic

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:16 PM) :

this chick is cute.. wait, haven't I seen her somewhere before?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:20 PM) :

This girl looks like so many girls in Montreal. That said, very cute.

Blogger kawadjan said ... (8:39 PM) :

she's drowning in her scarf and i love it! and god, what long legs she has. :)

Blogger R* said ... (8:49 PM) :

whoever this is, they look so chic!

Blogger Gudl said ... (8:54 PM) :

What a great look! Love the coat.
You really have an eye for the special!

Blogger Susan B said ... (9:03 PM) :

Everything is just perfect here. I LOVE the colors in that coat!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:14 PM) :

love the coat!

Blogger Fashionista, Size 14. said ... (10:04 PM) :

She looks like she wishes it were spring.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:54 PM) :

How cool is she. I'm in love.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:03 PM) :

Another brilliant bike shot. (I wrote a short essay on Sart's pic from Paris a few weeks ago.)
Wonderful jacket, and roomy enough at the bottom for riding. One little thing though, as a biker myself, I'd like to get her a pair of nice leather gloves. Protect them paws!

Blogger loony lacunae said ... (11:09 PM) :

I like how her coat flares out a bit like a dress :D

Blogger benson said ... (11:14 PM) :

As adorable as she is...I was just on the west coast where it was 90 degrees...can you still find "fabulous" with not so many clothes on? I hope so- we need inspiration!

Blogger Q said ... (1:40 AM) :

I love that New Yorkers are now biking around, all these vintage bikes makes NY just that much cooler. Great outfit all around. Skinny jeans everyday, all the time!

Blogger 'signorina' said ... (1:47 AM) :

Ka-yoot! Agree - fabulous coat.

Blogger Barron said ... (2:20 AM) :

she's beautiful, and her style is impeccable. the type of new york girl i would idiotically stare at as i crossed the street, consequently tripping over curbs or getting run over by taxi cabs.

Blogger Bonita said ... (3:51 AM) :

Gee, I wonder where all of these stylings get there bicycles from? Are they remade vintages or recycled from the past?

Blogger Cristina Redondo said ... (5:10 AM) :

I really like to go to work on cycle, but it's difficult to mix with the style to go to work sometimes...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:02 AM) :

I like your web-site very much!I hope to meet you, someday, here in Italy. E.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:04 AM) :

May be the bike it's the fashion must for this spring!
Yesterday I was walking in Milan and I've never seen so many cool people going by bike in my life!
That's good!

Blogger dnqcnn said ... (7:42 AM) :

what a pretty pretty coat!
what is it with you and bycicles? :D

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:07 AM) :

love the coat- love the almost clash of colors! love the whole outfit actually.

Blogger Carolina Lange said ... (8:46 AM) :

This photo is so beautiful, evetinhg about it! She looks so sweet, and that is a great coat!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:38 AM) :

So, so pretty. Perfect! Those boots are a must have - where can I get those? (This comment made me laugh: 'And why isn't everyone at work like I am?' I hear you!!)

Blogger whyioughtta said ... (10:06 AM) :

Love the turn-of-the-(19th) century silhouette of the coat...there were lots of coats like this in your Paris and Milan shots (e.g. Sozzani sisters). Really pretty.

Blogger hippie said ... (10:50 AM) :

that is extreme chicness and cuteness. love it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:59 AM) :

The bikes are not vintage. They are beach cruiser styles based on vintage bikes. You can find many of similar style made by Schwinn, Trek, Giant and others... Old styling with modern technology.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:22 AM) :

Love her coat and her bike!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:59 AM) :

She looks great, but the bike is too big for her. She shouldn't have to stand on her toes like that.

Blogger Rafe Totengco said ... (12:01 PM) :

You should do a whole series of girls on bikes. You've certainly amassed enough photos of really fabulous bikers.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:02 PM) :

Anybody knows the brand of the bike??

Blogger Asi Mod said ... (12:22 PM) :

This is the way to be hippie-chic. That dress is hard to pull off but she did it marvelously.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:50 PM) :

This is a great line...cracked me up! "And why isn't everyone at work like I am?"

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:22 PM) :

Wow, she's great. The coat even matches the bike!! This photo makes my day.

(I wish the scarf had a little less volume, for proportion's sake, but that's just a minor quibble.)

Blogger Jessorz said ... (3:29 PM) :

totally loving the coat. and the boots.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:44 PM) :

based on this and previous examples, i think i need to get a bike. haha (first i need to learn how to ride).

anyways, i love the color scheme and the cream pashmina looks so plush and warm and wonderful.

LOVE THIS LOOK!

Blogger Carissa Duhamel said ... (5:06 PM) :

I love all of these beautiful bicycle images you've been featuring lately!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:56 PM) :

isn't this girl a model? i've seen her in magazine ads and commercials...

Blogger Anastasia said ... (6:28 PM) :

what a great photo - stunning location - very New York!
beautiful coat and gorgeous girl!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:17 PM) :

Wish women would be as stylish in the Bay Area!!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:00 PM) :

Great coat/jeans/boots. Beautiful girl. Maybe you should have a section where you could post marriage proposals to all these beautiful women you shoot ;-)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:07 PM) :

You love those bikes!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:23 PM) :

This is great. It looks like she means it. She didn't dress to create an impression; she dressed for the actual occasion--riding a bike in cold weather, in her own personal style. Now, THAT's style--reality dressing, clothing appropriate to the occasion--weather/act/place/body

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:03 AM) :

anonymous @ 11.59,
i don't think her bike is too big, she just needs to lower the saddle a little.

being a non newyorker, what appeals to me most about this shot is the building in the background, just makes me want to live there :)

Blogger Fred said ... (2:01 AM) :

Totally sweet, a modern day Mary Poppins.

Blogger ek said ... (9:20 AM) :

more bikes!

Blogger Emilieee said ... (11:13 AM) :

stunning outfit and it looks cute.. I wished I could have one too...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:50 AM) :

like everyone here: THE COAT!

and she looks like a little girl, who goes in a school-just for girls.

dont know why,ist makes me remembering of that.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:47 PM) :

so dutch , i love it

Blogger hoi polloi said ... (4:50 PM) :

I like the coat but the scarf is too much IMO

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:58 PM) :

amazing outfit.

... and she's simply so beautiful... i'd marry her tomorrow. ;)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:12 AM) :

Can you say PERFECT!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:52 PM) :

Lovely! So romantic... Girl, coat and bike. All together.

Aaah. Sweet.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:23 PM) :

cute girl, nice clothes, great shot.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:24 PM) :

Not sure about this specific bicycle, but Electra (brand) specializes is updated, retro-style bikes for city riding. Lovely girl, also. Insanely fetching.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:37 PM) :

anonymous @ 12:02 PM
it looks like it's schwinn 2007 classic 3 or 2006 model.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:42 PM) :

that outfit is amazing

Blogger Mare said ... (6:19 PM) :

she makes me wish i lived in a flat city. in san francisco, bikes like this don't make it up the hills.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:21 AM) :

Hi!! I love this photo!! It reminded me of my Grandpa's bike, so I posted it on my blog today (obviously stating that it's yours and with a link to your blog).

You can see it here: http://journal-de-petits-details.blogspot.com/2008/10/cest-froid.html

I love your blog!
Greetings from Buenos Aires, Argentina!

It never ceases to amaze me how some NYC women can leave their apartments and look ready to step right into the pages of a magazine. She looks wonderful. She exudes great style. The coat is unique. The scarf wrap is spot-on. Her boots are as sexy as all hell. The bicycle lends a European flair to the photo.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:02 AM) :

Really like the bicycle's shots you take!

Blogger lamevarubeta said ... (11:51 AM) :

I use a bicycle everyday. I'd love to go with this style!
great pics! :-)
