I Could Learn A lot From These Guys About How To Wear A Suede Jacket
Welcome to ENORMO SARTO
My new giant, oversized blog
sorry this loading thing is being a bit of a pain
but it should be fixed soon
in the meantime enjoy these completely ridiculously oversized images
i will work out the correct sizing tonight
So do we think that he is wearing a pocket square as scarf?
This gentleman is an editor for Mens EX magazine in Japan,
Does anyone know how to get in touch with him?
We should ask him about this scarf, about the deminsions and how he ties it.
I often wear my gloves in my back pocket just like this - glad I;m not the only one.
Don't click on the images because it will take you to the Flickr webpage.
i have been communicating with Blogger so I think the loading problem will be resolved soon.

I like these scarves..
Do you know how to tie my scarf the way this men does?
Yes--these guys have found a way to wear a small silk scarf (my guess)or pocket square that's kool, as opposed to the DOA ascot thing.....
Sart, you are SO cute! I'm just picturing a conversation between two rugged, "every day" dudes on scarf tying. I would absolutely pay to see this.
It's preening at its best!
mltt
P.S. Thank you for finding a workaround for pic posting!
I swear, you should try to get to Tokyo and head down to United Arrows, Edifice, Beams and Isetan Mens store. Its Sartorialist heaven. You might keel over from OD at the staggering amount of well dressed and uniquely stylish men.
I like that color of green. It goes so well with hazel eyes.
What would you call this? Utilitarian chic? I so love when men dress like this. The whole look is so practical and simple and then you look closely at each piece and they're all of such great quality.
hm.. japanese aesthetics <3
sorry to say so but the "gloves in the back pocket" trend is already over half a year, isn't it?
Well Enormo Sarto, I think this guy is one cool dude. Check out his pose!!
I often wear pocket squares as scarves... they are perfect for a quick shot of colour and the size is good too. Infact was recently in a men's shop and the salesman was most upset that I had the nerve to unfold a pocket square to look at its pattern. (I did not purchase from his shop as a result.)
Wait! Japanese style? I thought that originated in the American west. Once again the Japanese besting us at our own thing...
Love the oversize pictuee ...but your right it takes a moment to load......Can't tell what kind of bagh he is wearing ...from the shoulder strap the leather looks beautiful.
Thx Sar!
I love the scarf details ...AGAIN I am going preach ETRO ...beacuse they make these small lightweight patterned scarves that perfect to accented your wardrobe for the day....especially since you can play with it and do different things morning afternoon and evening. Without sounding gay (lack of a better word) I can appreciet how women have enjoyed the aspect of scarf accessories in many manay ways upto now ....now hoepfully the men too can see how stylish and tasteful it is perceived no matter who is looking at you.
Thx Sar!
I quite like the giant new aspect of your blog. I know you can't really be exptected to keep using those giant images, but I like them.
That man is really well put-together.
This scarf thing under a t-neck is a great detail. Love it. Has a practical aspect as well - protects t-neck collar from beard stubble. Cashmere t-neck collars can easily get pilled up by stubble.
Scott,
I think you can give him email to the address below.

That's his blog. Please check this out and let us know how to tie the pocket scarf.
I love your great works in this blog too.
Hiro in Japan
mwehehehe "ENORMO SARTO." so cute. hope you get your issues fixed, but i can't complain .. i like the Sastre Enorme.
I'm actually enjoying the outsize images. You know fashion is all about the play on proportion.
Wait, isn't that your Italian cousin, Enormo Sarto? I think he covered the men's shows there....
Good photo quality on the big pix here!
kholqI prefer the pictures large like this. Sometimes I can't make out all the details of the outfits
Scott, actually the bigger pix size is GREAT! Can see more more easily right away. Surely I can't be the only poster who feels this way.
Please consider permanently posting the pix at this size.
Thanks.
Love the green suede jacket!
My sister often wears pocket squares as scarves - she ties them around her wrist, too. Looks fabulous.
Der. I've just read the posts and seen that my sister's already given her pocket-square-as-scarf suggestion.
Sorry. Will read through more closely next time!
Seriously, I love the way he clutch his man-bag. It's so cosmopolitan and yet butch. Okay, maybe not butch but manly.
It is so Hermès...Martin Margiela did some 'losanges', it's like little silk carrés but for men! It existed in delicious colors.
Bravo pour ces toujjours belles photos.
the gloves are reminiscient of my dad, nochalantly tucking his working gloves of the pocket after finishing work (he was a builder).
Bonsoir Monsieur,
Tout d'abord un grand merci pour les images merveilleuses que vous nous montrez libéralement presque tous les jours.

I put my gloves in my back pocket all the time, but I just kind of stuff them in there, not so artfully and neatly as this man has done...but he probably hasn't fixed a fence in his lifetime, either. Hmmm. I do like the pocket square as a scarf.
You know... the manbags are so discreet and blends in so well with the outfits that I didn't notice them until you mentioned it...
Love your work.
not sure if a manpurse works for anyone who isnt japanese tho..
I want to get a scarf to tie on my neck liek this guy does for months now! But I would like to do it with a black scarf on a white shirt. I found a scarf in Zara but was too stiff (starched really!) and too expensive for the quality it had (20 euros). So do you think pocket squares are suitable for this?
Sart, you have to come to Asia!!!! Get someone to sponsor you. You'll be in sart heaven.
thanks for the idea! i tried the first guy's scarf and t-neck trick today and it's great!
the pants are Jacob Cohen, they always come with a scarf in the back pocket. I always remove them tough...
