Entirely original and deeply pleasing. The best of the best: the in-attendance briefcase.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:43 AM) :

Interesting from the ankles up!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:05 AM) :

Please tell us...there has to be a great story about this guy. Love that he is smoking a pipe and not a cigarette.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:18 AM) :

the detailing on the pocket of his pants is AWESOME. piping and three buttons. i'm definitely going to add that to some pants!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:39 AM) :

he is a great editor in chief in japan.
his fashion is known to be eccentric and great!!!!

Blogger Christi M. said ... (8:44 AM) :

Isn't that Dolce & Gabbana?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:33 AM) :

I love the detail on the jeans with the detail on the jacket. How great.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:50 AM) :

i agree. this look is amazing. truly original and carried off with such aplomb...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:25 AM) :

He was featured in a Japanese mook recently talking about old watches (if memory serves me right!)

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (10:26 AM) :

I don't normally go for "a guy in uniform", but he carries this off superbly!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:30 AM) :

Ridiculous.

Blogger Joeozz85 said ... (11:54 AM) :

Great Jacket!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:56 AM) :

The headline, is such a perfect match with his style!

Blogger The Vintagent said ... (12:19 PM) :

Scott, taking a photo of a leprechaun can be dangerous ;)
Love the outfit, and any getup which shows a little humor.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:19 PM) :

such arrogance when he pulled this together.. style over comfort from the ankles up. oh i just love it great shot!

Blogger Resplendato said ... (12:29 PM) :

It looks like he swiped it off a revolutionary war general. All he needs is a three cornered hat..love it!

Blogger Ms. Merton said ... (2:45 PM) :

@$&)*#&$@$

the pocket detailing on the jeans!!!

could have used a fresh pair of air force ones to keep it real though

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:08 PM) :

It sure is Dolce & G. I yearn for that coat!

Marline

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:53 PM) :

ridiculousness is sometimes one of the few things worth it in life. love this, minus the shoes, to be fair.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:13 PM) :

I can't help it, people who smoke pipe look so charming. I'm totally against cigarettes, there's nothing cool about that, but pipe. wow. I know a man with a huge, cosy belly who has smoked pipe all his life and smelled like that too, and now he has stopped, and that lovely smell is gone! It's sad.

I like this man's comortable pose, and the background! It looks great with the outfit.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:30 PM) :

superbly individual. I love the jacket, pants and pipe ... I was originally against the shirt and shoes, but on reflecton they seem to keep this look grounded, so that is is eccentric but not cartoonish!

Blogger dccaf said ... (6:41 PM) :

wow! i love it...every detail. it's costume-y but so stylish.

Blogger fashionnerd said ... (8:58 PM) :

why the shoes?? :[

Blogger M About Town said ... (2:13 AM) :

Of course the coat is almost all I could see after the first glance (and it is amazing) but those pants are KILLER!

Blogger Stratos Bacalis said ... (9:52 AM) :

Great outfit! I want it! Although in Greece there are not many places yo ucan go dressed like this, maybe a few clubs in Athens...

Blogger in defense of retail therapy said ... (11:47 AM) :

we love long time.

Blogger Swid said ... (6:19 PM) :

That's a bold very look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:29 AM) :

Wonderful. And is he standing in front of the NY Yacht Club, just to make it too perfect?

Blogger loony lacunae said ... (3:13 AM) :

Everything is perfect except for the sneakers. White shoes would work well but they'd look better if they were brogues or something. Otherwise he looks really quirky and fun!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:50 AM) :

The sneakers are MBT shoes and activates neglected muscles improvs posture, tones and shapes the bode etc. Great shoes, we have them here in Sewden and I know they are very populat i Hollywood. Caroline in Sweden

Blogger Uinku said ... (2:32 PM) :

That jacket is from the women's F/W 2006-collection of Dolce&Gabbana.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:45 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:54 AM) :
