Comments on "At Dolce & Gabbana"
more wellies! It's official, I'm getting myself a pair. the only question is, which color?
fantastic photos
Who makes the boots in the first shot/where can i get some?
Thank you for posting the first picture. Yet another woman proving that wellies can be chic!
Sart, I love all three photos because the refined, sophisticated clothes contrast so well with the gritty background. Brilliant capture. Very editorial, except your models weren't sulking. :-)
Me again on my wellie crusade...for those of you who want some...order direct from http://www.wellie-boots.com/. Hunter's are the originals...and the best.
I love the shadow of the woman's cigarette in the last photo.
Photos, schmotos, look at these women!
Not loving the Wellies with the first outfit (especially on a sunny day!) nor the length of socks in the second look (a full grey tight would have been lovely). Last shot is perfect in every way.
I love the dress in the last pic - very Gwyneth Paltrow circa the late 90s.
that last black dress looks like it could be Lavin, with the elastic belt and all.
Although the same location it looks like the weather changed in minutes...from long coats to short jackets to bare arms...love them all in any kind of weather!
Now THOSE are some saucy Wellies! I guess the Italians win over the New Yorkers on that score.
The fendi bag set next to a grafitti filled wall put a smile on my face. I love the contrast! what a beautiful shot.
And I love the white bubble skirt with knee length socks, I may have to take out my bubble skirt from last spring and do the same :)
Ah, girls after my own heart. On any given day, I could be wearing something similar to any of these three girls.
Abigail, the wellies are Free People. Just bought a FP tank top today that was marked down to peanuts.
It's official - I am now a rubber boot fetishist
my favorite is the long haired brunette.shemixed great pieces, like that skirt, that would probably look awful in anyone else except her or Kate Moss. That black Fendi purse is way too gorgeous and the stockings were fabulous. As was said, the lights were great too.
love the shots - especially the way the polished style of the subjects contrasts with the grafiteed walls in the background. The knee socks in the second one promted me to go and buy some at lunchtime :) Love the way she wears whem with peepoes.
These are great! The first woman's face is absolutely stunning. And last photo - wow, her legs are pretty damn fantastic! Love that they are all displaying such different styles.
Very sexy

Beautiful light indeed, also like the arrow on the wall that points in their direction.
Three beautiful women with three different looks and three different lifes all taken in a span of 15 minutes or so?
Sarto, you are either blessed or very lucky or a combination of both.
Great photos, great looks! Love the second one!
The graffiti in the background adds quite a bit to these photos. Great shots!
Such beautiful lighting in your photos. Tho' the subjects remind me of that "Ugly Betty" episode in which the Vanessa Williams character gets stranded in a bad part of town and two prostitutes try to strong-arm her for her luxe fur coat!
i dont know why people keep trying w the knee length socks, i think they doesnt work.
without that, the outfit would be perfect.
First one is my favorite- her coat inspires envy. I love the perfect proportion of coat length to dress length! I like the background a lot too, a perfect shooting spot.
love love loveeee all three especially the last one, the black satin & lighting is amazing.
I love these three.
The light is so beautiful.
The Wellingtons are by Hunter.
The last one is my favorite, with the formal satin against the rough brick wall.
I'm a horseperson and I've been wearing Wellies around for years, and I can't say I'm entirely thrilled to see people wearing them on sunny days in the city - it seems inappropriate.
Julia always looks great. Love the relaxed hair.
