That Coat- Looks 1 & 2
Trying to look great for a week of shows is more than a little daunting on a limited budget, especially for a young fashion editor.
I think this young lady did a great job of putting together two very different looks.
It was cold all week, so it was smart to work her looks around her coat since it was the item most people would see anyway.
I also like how both versions accentuated her long legs, but again, in very different ways.

Here is me gushing about another coat. I do love them, and this one is wonderful. I like the nice a-line. I also really like the long gloves and the bag.
Cute coat and nicely done, but what I really want to know is who makes her bag???
She is gorgeous, and i love the look of the coat work like a dress...beautiful+
I love, love, love the coat....she looks great! Wonder who did this fabulous coat???
Who is she?
Awesome. Her legs are the first thing I noticed.
(Is the person behind her - second photo - waving at you?)
She looks fantastic. I much prefer looks that do not take layering to the extreme. Clean and simple is so much more striking IMHO.
She is gorgeous, and her legs are miles long... personally, she does look everyday chic, and I would admire her outfit if she walked by me on the street, but to attend fashion shows, she looks a bit underdressed. However, I reserve judgement since I haven't seen what she was wearing underneath her coat.
I have this coat! It's from Victoria's Secret. They also have it in red.
i love the black knee highs over the black tights with the green shoes!
fabulous coat...where can I buy a pair of the legs?!!
oooh, nice pics!
nice combo's too. :)
I like both ways! and she looks like she has an unlimited budget let me tell you!
Very nice for a cheap coat!! I love that coat! It looks more expensive ! I have one in red! and the bag is nice too!
love the long gloves, the green shoes with layered tights, well done!!!
Who are the green shoes by?
I love the long gloves...and the shoes.
I am almost positive that it's Susan Cernak from Elle magazine. I could be wrong. Sart?
Can someone ID those green shoes in the first pic?
Helloooo again, Bill!
i love the simple elegance of the first look. especially with those kicky forest shoes! i also have bag envy.
Her look is about proportion. I love the weight and balance that is going on here, in addition to texture. (And how smart to get another shot of BC in the background of the second pic.) :)
hannah, are you sure it's from VS? it's a fairly popular style; i have a very similar one by Guess.
Lovely coat, and it's amazing how she kept the layering subtle. Wearing knee socks without looking twee is tough, but she found th perfect way to pull it off.
Wait a minute; isn't that Bill Cunningham in the background? Is he waving at you Sart? What's with you two?
And, more to the point, I am really enjoying your commentary lately. I know it is a hectic time and I appreciate your using this breather to explain what caught your eye and why you think an outfit works. It is also wonderful that you are pointing out that it isn't just $$ that makes good style possible.
I do believe the photographer waving in the background was the gentlemen on the steps of the tents you posted a picture from last week. He was behind a beautiful girl and your first thought was "Funny Face"
Sofia Coppola look-a-like?
That's Susan Cernek (sp?) from Elle. And she looks great.
beautiful. classic. she looks like she was plucked from the silver screen!
4 Stars for that look and for you Sart to show it to us..man these Fashion Editors get prettier every day...hope that's not a pre-requisite to getting that post nowadays..
I also have to say because the buttons start so high up and stop abruptly give the illusion of it being much longer.
She's hot!!
Okay, and I get a kick out of Waving Charlie in the 'pants' photo background ..."hey Sart, are you shooting me or the '10' in the great coat?"
This shows how you don't need a million pieces of clothing to look good ... a few simple, elegant quality pieces can go a long, long way (as long as those legs? Maybe not!!)
Has anyone been able to track down who makes the bag?
very beautiful.
Yes! She looks like a young Sofia Coppola circa Godfather III.
Wonderful coat. If a coat could make my legs look that good, I'd wear it all the time too.
I L O V E the wave in the background.
I must, MUST know where those shoes came from and how to procure them. Anybody? Please?
My mom has that coat in red from Victoria's Secret....Very nicely done.
God, could this woman be anymore beautiful?
i'm South Korean lady.
you are take a good photograph
