Teen Vogue Team
The Teen Vogue team always looks fantastic, and the magazine looks great. Teen Vogue is using the best photographers (Bruce Weber!), with seriously excellent editorial styling. Gloria Baume, the lady a few posts down in the camelhair coat/yellow nylon windbreaker, is the fashion director, so I guess they come by that style naturally.To be honest, though, as a man approaching the age of forty, Teen Vogue is the only magazine that I feel a little self-conscious buying at the store, especially if I'm out of town. The name The Sartorialist still doesn't carry much weight in Evansville, Indiana, and buying Teen Vogue there, while driving through, always gets me a few funny looks from Doris, the cashier.

They both look good. The beret especially looks great, as does her smile. Teen Vogue - it's probably good I didn't actually buy this as a teenager (not that it was around then), but I'd have felt compelled to have 12 jobs, in addition to attending school, so I could afford to 'acquire' some style!

oh my! me too...A friend turned me onto Teen Vogue and I have to say, for a certain pricepoint and a certain lifestyle it is very welcome. I can't say I can or should wear all that is in there, but the styling and the fun of fashion is far more evidant there then in many more adult logs.

Oh no! That would be a little unfonfortable, but yes-I love Teen Vogue as well! It's much more fun to browse than most other mags!
I read every issue of Teen Vogue when I did my PhD in Miami....and I am still reading it now:)

I love the look on the left - she's mixed so many colours, prints, fabrics, etc. - but it's so cute and gamine.
OK, now I don't feel quite so guilty for buying Teen Vogue at the age of 26. I was wondering who the woman in the vintage looking coat-windbreaker combo was--she is one of the most fanastic on here.
It's the tiny features that tell you how to work runway clothes that make it so successful!
New York doesn't seem cold at all; it still shocks me that girls run around wearing a thin layer of tights all day in February.
As a sixteen year old, I'm totally comfortable about my subscription to Teen Vogue and its bright covers and easy-access style easily make it my favorite glossy (RIP Elle Girl, the best of the teen fashion mags).
The thought of you buying Teen Vogue in Indiana makes me laugh, but hey, it has some good stuff.
I'm 24 and still buy Teen Vogue too. I still love the styling -- it's youthful and fresh without being teeny boppery.

i love these outfits and i LOVE teen vogue. i am almost 30, but i still think everything is so well put together and at a price point more accessible. (although from a teenager's perspective, really for the hamptons set)
They need to switch shoes and it's still hard to handle dress/skirt hems falling below jackets.
And, Sart, I hope against hope that you don't also buy Teen Vogue while draped out with your camera. The cops will be called for SURE! rotfl

i'm sixteen and adore teen vogue, but admitadly was quite suprised to find myself sitting next to a twenty something asian guy reading the same copy as me on the plane home to london from new york this december. i can see why doris may have been a bit suprised, but reading everyone's comments i don't think i will be in the future.
i was so shocked when i read that you were from evansville, of all places. i'm from there too and after living there for most of my life, i was pretty certain that nothing fashionable would ever come out of that place. here's to you and your talent, i hope you buy all of your teen vogues at schnucks during the post-church sunday rush, just for laughs.
I feel fine buying Teen Vogue (as I am a teen), but if you really feel self conscious, just subscribe! I agree that Teen Vogue is a lot more fun and less serious than more adult publications may be...
perhaps it's simply the phrase "teen vogue" - although I do believe there's a fair bit of evidence in the photo itself - that gives one the feeling your subjects here spend a lot of time giggling .....
