Comments on "Everything!"
The plaid trouser put it over the top for me. Too much
Funky oldman.
:>
Yes, this is very fine. Great color eye. Clear that to make pants like his work, you've got to "blend" them into the costume as a whole.
And love the umbrella as accessory.....
what an original look! Great smile.
I disagree. Sometimes everything is too much. In this case I think it's the gold trimming on the jacket.
He is a character - look at that face!
Love the shoes
I didn't know St. Gennaro Fest has arrived!!
yes!! finally
the way the scarf is tied. he's original!! give him a big applause!! I hate the way the men are tying their scarfs...they all do it the same way.
The shoes and socks are fantastic.
Looks like he is in Dries van noten from head to toe
i love the fact that this gent could just be Europian...you can be sure...
There's always some elegance coming from deep inside when Europeans men, dandy or simply dressed over the top, dresses.
There's more irony, sense of proportion and in a certain way a sort of casualty.
I second the bravo! So many things that are so hard to make work, and they all work!!
He's looking very handsome-the shoes are the bomb! And the scarf...
Ohhh John Lobb is here !!! Bravo Paris !!!
A very handsome man with character and flair.
It takes a lot for me to say that about someone in plaid pants.
I must say it is inspiring to watch you do what you love in your blog and have major corporations (conde nast) picking up on it and hiring you. Congrats on your success
A bit too much, he's like Santa in spring ...
I don't often disagree with your pics, Sart, but this is just terrifying.
Shoes or no shoes, it's definitely too costumey for my tastes
Personally, my biggest issue is the jacket.
That's a great umbrella that he's got. It looks like it could be a Brigg Prince of Wales, with that silver endcap and large silver nameplate. Very respectable, and a great contrast to a pretty fanciful outfit!
The double monk strap is very elegant and firmly brings the look back to France.
nice pants but the total is too much . a simple shirt would be enough . less is much much more
For some reason, he reminds me of the pajama chic so popular among college kids these days. Maybe because his gold-grim-top-plaid-pants combo in fact looks like a pajama?
look comfortable...
I love your pics. your people. your style.
great work.
He´s so cool, he wears it with pride, and makes it for me.
"Traditional" jacket??????
for a cossack dancer in a niteclub maybe ......
This guy could pass for Robin Williams! awesome!
what? i think the plaid pants work. i have a feeling this man intentionally wears them slightly too short. but because he knows the rules, he can allow himseslf to break them, or at least stretch them a little. love it
The outfit is beautifully put together. But, I think that short men should try not to look too "cutesy".
The shoes are the "Williams" by the greatest shoemaker ever, John LOBB.
