Comments on "Christian Louboutin, Shoe Designer"
That's him? this is the guy that is responsible for the inevitable bancrupcy ahead of me? I LOVE his shoes like all the women of the world.
OMG!! This is the first time I think you got it wrong, Scott. That, or you've been heavy-drinking! I guess I can't always agree with your points of view... Though I was pretty close!
Rick
He looks absolutely adorable! This picture makes me want to snuggle up against the cuddly fur and give him a huge hug!
on another note, i find it interesting how everyone manages to remain sylish yet warm, this weather has thrown a curveball at our Fashion Week wardrobes, or at least i can attest as much for mine.
He's gonna need a lint brush for that coat after this!
Curious as to what is under the coat paired with those pail blue pants.
Love what's going on here. The layers and linear composition (the horizontal flaps). Kinda 'new' tribal or Mongolian...
Loved the shoes he did for Peter Soms show. Those models could barely walk those heels were so high. I believe they were over 110 cm. Woof! But they were hot. He has a great sensse of bravado and just a hint vulgarity its still chic.
I love how the colour mix isn't right but looks right!! And the expression on his face is so cute, makes him look like a little boy!
is he louboutin???
noooo, you must be kidding!
His shoes are...IT at the moment.
Yes, this is very choice--and a kind of model for cold-weather dressing-with-style. The vest IS inspired--but so's the hat and scarf. (Interesting, by the way, to spot a trend: the revival of the "old-school" scarf, which seems to become newly fashionable every twenty-five years or so....)
great style, on the first look it was a bit, homeless de luxe but on the second, you see the real style, shoedesigner deluxe!
I don't know what it is about those pants that make me want them. I mean it's not the most flattering colour or anything but they're oddly good-looking.
this is a great way to wear a winter vest!!! he looks lovely.
Is is THAT cold there?
Is is THAT cold there?
i love your pictures! you just make everyone look beautiful, and your pictures are a great inspiration! thank you!
prefer his shoes than his style!!
the pants are dope 2..... what color is that?

Ooops...looked again, and he ISN'T wearing the old-school scarf, just a kind of lookalike. But I have seen the genuine article around....
Love his designs...awesome shoe designer!
yay, an earflap hat! i bet the man possesses a wicked sense of humor.
Crazy-Russian-Panhandler Chic. Love it!
So cool, love it! (wish he'd do a men's shoe line)
Sart- Congradulations on the best blog by Absolut!
Love his hat
Love his scarf
Love his Shoes
Especially Love his Shoes
Fabulous Shoes! Fabulous STYLE!
Honestly, if you didn't know who he is, would you believe him to be stylish? Or homeless?
Good to see a nice warm hat protecting that shoe-design-genius mind.
his shoes wich I adore are better than his look...at least in this photo!
Hi, Your doing suchgreat work recording what New York looked during this period... Robert viewing from London...
Is it alright to call the designer of some of the world's most beautiful shoes adorable? Well, he is in this picture. Such character. More like this, please.
the vest over the coat is great, and the hat. very stylish way of braving these bitingly cold temps.
looks a little like the "flying nun".
I LOVE!
flas up good, flaps down good if cold, flaps half-mast silly.
Good hat, though
Amazing! He bought that vest from where I work! It's Juicy Couture, which is really strange, but he wears it well!

I love him just because of the creative mind and eye in design he has....my favorite shoes on earth forever! my respects to him he can wear whatever he wants!
He looks like Ghostface Killa.
yes it is that cold here. i am strangely drawn to the pants as well. all the vest/hat/scarf goodness going on top seems just a distraction from them. i'm not sure why, but it's so.
Does anyone pay you to run this blog, take the pics, etc.? You deserve to be earning a 6-figure salary for what you do as the Sartorialist. Someone needs to pay you to fly around the world to capture more fleeting fashion fabulousness.
The vest is Juicy Couture and is reversible.
I think it is just lovely that the mastermind and genious of shoe design looks like average Joe. He doesn't need to make a big deal of himself.
He is just adorable!
Braving the Elements
YAY Louboutin! I love his shoes and want at least six pairs of them. ...and I am a bloke! Beautiful things are beautiful regardless and his shoes are fabulous. The only man who can give Blahnik a run for his money in the design stakes... in my humble opinion!
He looks utterly cold, but then when you're as well off as he undoubtedly is, you can wear what you like and damn the consequences. No matter what he wears, he's still the best shoe designer in a long while.
Hi. The idea is great. Awesome blog. From Santiago, Chile. Checking your updates oftenly. Keep "shooting". greetings.smsthpt
On a first glance he does look like a homeless though. Stylewise he makes me think about Bensimons' shot that was posted recently. I love fur hats !
now that is some kick ass mongolian chic! also, i love his mint coloured pants.
wow, this is christian louboutin? he's my inspiration for making it through my final year of high school- so i can get a great job, and afford his shoes..
This is what I love to see! Someone who's style is offbeat, yet, you keep looking and finding new things to admire. Great shot!
he is a totally authentic being
j'adore!!!
the bag is his? it is so cool. does anyone know who makes it?
if his pants aren't uniqlo, they have the same (or very similar) ones
I SO covet the shoes he designs. I do NOT covet those aqua pants. OOF!
Love him anyways! =)
Great pic, Scott...
i don't really see how throwing a lot of disparate elements together makes a stylish whole. looks contrived to me.
wear do i get a fur vest like that?
on a related note, where can i get fur underwear?
wow. now i know how he looks like. no wonder he makes stylish shoes, he has class as well.
Loves, loves, loves the pants.
Wacky. In endearing way.
Cool, love his style...
