Comments on "Blues Hues"
I love diferent shades of color together, not only blue shades, bht others too. Those 2 colores look great on her.
You need to check out the pashminas instead of scarves, you're sure to find that color there. Or have someone knit one for you.
;)
I thought I saw J.Crew doing a scarf that color this winter. It might have been for women, but when has the Sartorialist ever been afraid of crossing "gender" lines?
That blue would match your eyes! Beautiful.
Can we officially call the sky blue scarf thing a trend? I've seen many featured in your blog, some turning up on other fashion sites, and a smattering of them walking into restaurants and better bars here in MTL. Also, yellow-hued gloves, whether they be buttercup, 'honey', or the actual primary colour, seem to be catching on.
Am I completely off base here?
Hola,
Le Chateau carries extra-long scarves in vivid colours including that exact blue for $15.
That is a perfect blue.
navy blue is my all time fave color.
Speaking of having someone knit one for you, I need help. My husband wants me to make him a scarf, but they look too "girly," not sure why. What are the criteria for a handmade knitted scarf for a man? Anyone?
That shade of blue is wonderful on her. I first noticed how great her face is. So unique and warm.
same hue as your eyes, sart!
That scarf is a beautiful blue. I do like the blue hues coming through this season (way better than the yellow, which I find quite limited). She's smiling beautifully too!
I like that color. It's cool.
i have a pashmina in that color, if you find a place that sells authentic nepalese pashminas, they are sure to have it. good luck :o)
Wow, looking back through your archives and comparing with your vogue.com.au interview - looks like you found the scarf!
Is that cornflower blue? It's one of my favorite hues as well.
