Comments on "At Pitti Uomo......The Character"
wow, this pic is extremely sharp!
tell me, do they stil kick off all the fashion shows with flag throwers? I always see them accross the street from my summer appartment at #3 Piazza Pitti. No matter what, there are always droves of such Pitti characters pulling up right at the drive through and waltzing in. What a grand affair!
Characters...that's what I love to see on your blog. People who are individualand display their personal style with a twist of wit and humour.
beautiful photo.
This guy has it down: scarf, hat, pocket square and layered sweater plus shirt. This is completely individual (especially the slouchy hat) and completely modish--in short, true chic.
Ok. This is one of your best photos yet. His look is totally individual. I can see in his eyes that he likes to be the spark of an intellectual, style centered conversation. He wants you to think. He loves the fact that you never thought of tying on that little neckerchief that was in your top drawer and collecting dust.
Great job Scott.
I love that old men have begun making a lot of recent appearances here. Not to say I don't love the pictures you take of younger people, but these just have something special about them.
If I were his granddaughter, I'd be torn between letting a sharply dressed grandpa keep his hat, and stealing it to wear myself.
One of your best yet! A style worth aspiring to.
Super tof le chapeau.
Une bonne journée

I like the way that you see the things around you !
Fabulously Stylish Gent
from his individually sculpted fedora
to the flamboyant kneck tie setting off the white sweater. A man very comfortable with himself
This is why I visit your site everyday.
Lovely styling! Iwant a small neckerchief pronto!
Now I know how to pull off my Filson hat when I'm downtown!
he looks completely confident & comfortable with himself, and would probably be someone fun to chat with over a cup of coffee. I like him. Can I have him, please?
I love your photos of old guys! This old boy is sporting a "Truman Capote" look and I think he pulls it off.
