Thank goodness he doesn't have white shoes on!

A good look for a fellow on the go.

I love a man in Wallabee shoes. I keep urging my husband to purchase a pair but . . . one may wish. The shoes make the outfit less "delivery guy" and very hip and urban.

Love this picture...is this NYC? yeah...probably ;)
Is it a trend nowadays to own a low rider?

Blogger CC said ... (2:03 PM) :

Straight outta Billyburg irony, paint by numbers. Not liking this at all.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:40 PM) :

Biking around town in NYC rules!

If the sun is out, even if it's frigid...ride!

What's the difference? - Cross country skis through the forest to grandmother's house...downhill at Vail...skating in Central Park...or bundled up on a bike across town to the next appointment?

We're all Urban Hunters here, engaging in the urban jungle every day.

First inspiring quote for 2007, for all of us, from Willy the Shake, of course: "I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips, straining upon the start." (Henry V)

Thank you, Sart, for another beautiful, healthy animal, standing in the pedals!

That hat and shoes... really well done.

I love this overall shot. It really captures what NYC is all about. Always moving, with the surroundings having a certain rawness to it.

I can't believe when I first moved here I hated this city, now I don't think I can ever leave!!

Hey, his bike wheels match his ear muffler thingy. I love subtle whimsy!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:12 AM) :

is that the same chinatown kid you took a picture of before in the green puffer vest?

l like how you hang out in chinatown/bowery-whatever.

To roseag:

I don't really see anything wrong with white shoes. When worn with an appropriate outfit they look dramatic and elegant. I'm thinking of Gatsby-esque outfits of the 1920s and 1930s when pinstripe trousers and white shoes would have been a fabulous look.

About this picture:

I sincerely hope that the interest was in the bike or the chinese characters printed on the side of the truck because sartorially, I see absolutely nothing remarkable about this outfit. In fact, it is quite forgettable.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:28 PM) :

what a great bicycle

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:46 AM) :

Dutch bike - you see them in False Creek and along the Seawall in Vancouver, Canada.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:43 PM) :

the beauty is not in the outfit but the photo
duh!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:54 PM) :

Honestly, i agree with that. Artistic urban style is not always in mens fashion but also in the picture as a whole..Cool post
