I like this photo. You really capture the texture of the street and the building behind her.

je parie que son sac est le billy de jérôme dreyfuss...

"i bet her bag is a jérome dreyfuss..."

;)

this looks great...partly because it looks like it just happened easily , casual yet elegant, she didn't overthink, because she has fashion confidence.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:58 PM) :

The scarf is great...but I love the coat more. The oversized look is very difficult to pull off; here it's done beautifully.

vOLUME rocks!

Blogger Cut of cloth said ... (5:27 PM) :

the cut of the cloth says
heather haze of tweedy balenciaga
stripes of coloured wool in a continuous loop
strange looking hand coverings
and nonchalant gaze

I like the scenery. I do not like her outfit. The proportions are too big and awkward really. It looks like she is wearing someone's oversize garments. The bag is just too big for her. It really does like she didn't try hard and just put anything on.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:38 PM) :

ugly matching gloves and scarf...don't like it

Blogger Q said ... (9:46 PM) :

I'm commenting overall on the past few days' posts... I love how Europeans have the chunky boot thing down pat. It just looks so simple, fresh, and modern with all those gorgeous, textured tights.

Merci pour les big, detailed photos!

Oconomowoc Coonies couture scarf. Ahh, just noticed the gloves are fingerless.

Blogger DK said ... (12:22 AM) :

A "come hither" look. I don't see anything else.

Blogger Unknown said ... (1:21 AM) :

I love the black tights. They are so mod/hipsterish and is it me or does a really nice scarf add to an average outfit .

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:42 AM) :

Oh man, what an incredible setting and a LOVELY girl, yet I agree she is feeling a little befuddled to me. The coat isn't feeling modern at all and the matchy-matchy scarf & gloves are too precious. I am over that bag too-- the little handles on a huge sac, oy! So impractical.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:43 AM) :

i looove the coat, anyone know who it's from?

Blogger luxuryduck said ... (9:21 AM) :

i'd go with this look just on the sheer note of comfort.

love from sydney,

The Doctor Who revival continues (to my approval).

I really dig it all, except the bag and whatever she's done to massively pump up the volume around her hips ... it's like she's got ANOTHER of those bags underneath her coat, stuffed full of her laundry or something!

Blogger Susan B said ... (10:38 AM) :

I can't help but be reminded of an interview with David Byrne back in the 80's:

Q: Why the big suit?
DB: Because it makes my head look smaller.

Sart,

I just looked at your coverage for men.style.com. Oh my god, I am speechless! So many beautiful things! Now you need something like that for women. Are you doing it somewhere that I am not aware.

Congratulations, amazing work! Wow!

I love the men with the bike and red accessories!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:46 PM) :

can someone please leave the link to his work on men.style.com? I cannot find it anywhere. TIA.

she is beautiful! I love the oversized coat!! pretty pretty pretty!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:43 AM) :

She's beautiful, so that helps! Love the Tom Baker tweed and striped scarf too.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:26 PM) :

She's a beautiful girl, but her clothes are wearing her instead of the other way around. She looks encumbered.

Blogger designerman said ... (4:16 PM) :

Love this. The shape of the shoulder and sleeve of the coat, the scarf/glove thing. The background is lovely too.

Well done.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:36 PM) :

the girl is beautiful and so is the setting. i always like volume, but for some reason i really think shes got it just off as opposed to right on.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:23 AM) :

i'm loving the coat, the opaque stockings, the cream shift...all make for great surprises...especially within her surroundings.

she seems unconsciously styled: it's refreshing and nuanced

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:31 PM) :

Beautiful...best wishes from Colombia

Anonymous criticpapa said ... (12:36 PM) :
