Tell her thank you for the dark boots. We've missed them with grey.

See how much better this looks.

America, please get over the depression era.

looking good

Love the dark boots.

They look like Lanvin boots. She looks fantastic, is that fur scarf part of the shawl or seperate? Thanks for the pic :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:54 PM) :

my sister wears poncho's like that!!
(but without that animal around the neck...haha)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:22 PM) :

i am loving all the earth-toned plaids I'm seeing on the streets this season. Very pretty with the grey and I'm feeling the black boots too. But that fur... we've progressed enough to not need to kill for the sake of fashion.

Look, her whole outfit is a gradient: it starts warm and organic at the top with fur, then an earth tone plaid poncho that blends into more modern/ technological, definitely colder denim, and finally those sleek black boots. I love it, can you tell?

A smile is always attractive!

Is this a jacket with a fur scarf?

It looks like it's belted so I don't think it's a big shawl, but the fringe at the arms confuses me.

It must be cold there, everybody has a wool coat on!

Thank God we're not in New York anymore, Dorothy.
She looks great, she's a breath of fresh air.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:56 PM) :

Mmmmmmm. I LOVE, Love, love the boots. Now if only I had the legs to pull them off!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:00 PM) :

isn't her plaid wrap/jacket alexander mcqueen f/w 05? i always aodred that jacket.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:01 PM) :

Speaking of depression era... there's something about this that seems very Old Hollywood - maybe it's her Louise Brooks-style black bob combined with the opulent fur stole over fringed plaid that gets me thinking of black-and-white movies about the Old West or Great White North. That's from the waist up - waist down it's all very current. Wonder if you have to be European to pull off such a great mix - or maybe American?? I'd love to know which she is ....

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:52 PM) :

The juxtaposition of the fur over the plaid is amazing - and not easy to pull off. Though with that hair especially, she somehow makes it all look perfectly natural.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:06 PM) :

her hair is exquisite

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:12 PM) :

I too love the dark boots, which go nicely with her hair.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:40 PM) :

Not my style and I don't really care for it, but she is rocking the look and that's what counts most.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:20 AM) :

She looks fabulous. I second the dark boots comments. And I love the expanded features on the site. Look forward to seeing the rest in April!

Wow - love the wrap with the fur as well as the colours. The boots look fabulous too!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:54 AM) :

Well done! Shawl and fur could have been messy but, she's put it together right.

Fur over the shawl could have been messy but, she's done it very well.

A smile like that always helps too.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:55 AM) :

Fab coat/poncho/jacket...yeah she can definitely hold her own...

áá I love those boots...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:03 PM) :

believe me it's not that cold...i was in Milan 3 days ago and i was fine in a cardigan, it's just the italians like to break out the winter wear and dress up as if they were in Moscow.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:12 PM) :

The textures are definitely very classic, but the cut is not. That is what makes her attire so attractive. The pants and the boots are young without looking to casual, and the coat paired with the stole make the whole thing adult. The juxtaposition of old and young looks so deliberate that gives her a sense of "creative authority".

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:29 PM) :

God, I love those boots. Anyone know what they are, or where I can find similar ones?

Everything is terrific really-- the plaid, the hair, the jeans. Great shot.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:11 PM) :

Beautiful, just dope. I really like her haircut as well. Great style.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:29 PM) :

I love the black of her hair with the black boots...beautiful...
