Oh, I love this look

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (12:24 PM) :

Love the buttoned-up look. Cool.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:26 PM) :

Another air-tie (which is a bad look, BTW.)

But I am intrigued by his collar!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:37 PM) :

i've been searching for this coat for ages...

I envy this good looking man!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:39 PM) :

i read in the new yorker that raf simons also wears his button down shirts all the way up sans neck tie. nice.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:41 PM) :

Esencialmente perfecto¡

Blogger Butch said ... (1:26 PM) :

The coat's cut is nice, but overall I find this almost anonymous...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:28 PM) :

...handsome X 10. And his clothes don't wear him.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:40 PM) :

mr boateng is perfection. I totally love this look

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:55 PM) :

very nice indeed!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:00 PM) :

absolutely beautiful-ATWR

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:01 PM) :

I think the raincoat thing is a little tired - looks pretty dry out there to me.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:05 PM) :

now here is the dream...oswald boateng my crush!! again he looks so charming. to be in your shoes! there is something so captivating about british and italian style and tailoring.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:21 PM) :

I love him. Could he be more stylish? I wish he did clothes for women, I know they would make me infinitely more polished.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:33 PM) :

This man is pure sex.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:47 PM) :

I love his look always very clean, well dressed and beautiful combinations of colors, he makes beautiful suits right?!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:57 PM) :

Oswald is such a beautiful creature. His style is so effortless and chic. I love the air-tie look, it's hauntingly divine!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:09 PM) :

I LOVE this 'air-tie' - I initially thought he was wearing a tie and was tickled to find out it was just a trick of the eye.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:20 PM) :

Wow!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:33 PM) :

This is the fahion designer boateng i luv luv his style

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:36 PM) :

Love a man in a raincoat.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:40 PM) :

Is that actually him? Why in the world does he always look so different every single time he's shot?

As to the look, I like the peek of color from the jacket lining.

mltt

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:01 PM) :

Do you all know who this man is?!?
He is the stuff dreams are made from, my dreams.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:04 PM) :

Ozwald is a hot man who knows style. Ghanaians represent!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:13 PM) :

Mr boateng is sublime as usual

Blogger Dovid said ... (4:27 PM) :

What is with the collar?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:54 PM) :

i'm warming to the air tie. i've been doing it lately.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:39 PM) :

I think he looks great; sophisticated but not trying to hard. I love the coat as well.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:36 PM) :

i heard an interview with this guy on NPR... what a pompous a**hole!! i haven't heard arrogance like that for a while. though he does admittedly look put-together.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:37 PM) :

The style's cool and quietly sophisticated. It works!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:41 PM) :

great blue coat, and love how there is no need for a tie with his shirt

Blogger Athena said ... (7:53 PM) :

Wonderful. I love the blue trenchcoat over the black suit. The tieless look does not work for most people, but it does here.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:53 PM) :

love the look!
simple, yet stylish!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:48 PM) :

I admire Ozwald Boateng style. hee makes bold statement with his choice of colors. I wish we could get more exposure to his offerings in the States.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:39 PM) :

Boateng is the man. That's all that needs to be said.

Blogger Eric Hancock said ... (11:17 PM) :

I think he spells his name with a "Z."

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:00 AM) :

very crisp look. I love it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:43 AM) :

very actor studio

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:57 AM) :

This is the most subdued I've ever seen Ozwald....impeccable nevertheless!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:37 AM) :

This short trench is the one item I must buy this season!!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:23 AM) :

The look is so simple yet Mr Boateng makes it look so strong. Although I'd hate to have been the person to have made that shirt. I bet the collars were a nightmare to do!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:24 AM) :

This coat is indeed very very nice. The collar is a little bit - funny.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:08 AM) :

This is the type of man who would look good in anything and nothing.
Great shot!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:34 AM) :

I think it anyone can rock an air tie, it's Mr. Boateng. Now, if he would just put out a secondary collection for men who can't afford $5,000 suits... And whatever happened with his quest to open a US store? Did that die on the vine, anyone know?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:01 AM) :

oswald is a very stylish man but in all honesty his suits are considered rather passe in london now.
they are worn by celebrity hairdressers and boy band wannabes..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:24 AM) :

Boatengs blend of classic Saville Row Style with a gentle fashion forward element is always superb.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:34 AM) :

Nothing special here!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:51 AM) :

i adore him :)
he's sooo classy. this is the way (of clothing) that i want my man look like!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:28 AM) :

Perfekte stijl. Bravo Oswald. BTW isn't the airtie a return of the 80s? Least that's the first time i recall seeing it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:18 AM) :

all of it-perfect. the coat, the no-tie, the buttons, and his angle in the shot. presence.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:30 PM) :

Ozwald is a dream and an impeccable dresser; I miss his show on Sundance...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:31 PM) :

ooooooooo my boyfriend. sigh. just flawless.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:15 PM) :

yum yum yum

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:04 PM) :

HOT!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:28 PM) :

I love that all the comments are so succinct! Just proves that it is a cool look on a great looking guy.

Is the airtie on the way back? Me thinks so.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:42 PM) :

I think it is a big dommage that he leave Givenchy.
R.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:26 AM) :

I really love the blue tone with the ice blue shirt and dark navy coat.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:50 AM) :

If you MUST do the "air tie" this is clearly the right way to do it! Very interesting shaping on the collar making this plain (though very well chosen) ensemble intriguing.
J

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:59 AM) :

This man is so handsome I don't care what he has on.
But he is beautifully dressed in an understated manner that enhances his looks.
Sigh!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:19 AM) :

Love his look! He is why I love london , very polished new British.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:17 PM) :

I love the lines- crisp, clean. Fantastic

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:23 AM) :

He looks normal. Nothing special.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:05 AM) :

I am so in love with this man!!

His men's wear is so impeccable, it's a shame more men don't adopt the european cut in their suits and blazers here in the US.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:48 PM) :

I love him, I love him, I love him!

Blogger Fernanda Guedes said ... (12:43 PM) :

OH-MY-GOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!

Blogger Stratos Bacalis said ... (8:49 AM) :

What an interesting white dress-the volumes and the draping seem incredible. I'd love to see this live.

Blogger Model Citzen said ... (12:39 AM) :

Boateng is on fire! I love the little dance he does after his shows... so haute.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:58 AM) :

oswald boateng...what a designer..what an outfit

Blogger SuchALady said ... (11:21 PM) :

Is it bad that I didn't look at the outfit because I was focused on that beautiful face?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:53 AM) :

God this man is gorgeous, and a great designer. I wish I could afford his clothes.
